“Quickly became the best sitter I've ever had. Pictures showed Lynx so happy and taken care of. For as long as I live in this area, Rebecca will be Lynx's sitter!”

About: I’m a single, remote worker with no pets of my own that’s got many pets in my life who I love! I’ve done pet sitting on both coasts ranging from elderly pets like dogs and cats to your non traditional like birds, goats, chickens, and pigs. I offer personalized services for your beloved family members like reading out loud, tucking them in for bed, taking them on hikes, out for a pup cup, play time, dressing them, to watching their favorite shows. Let me love your babies and I’ll show you a happy loved one! I’m single, a work from home school counselor, and have no pets of my own so I’m flexible to come to your space to do let your pet out, do long check-ins, walks, play, to overnight or extended stays. During the school year (August to Mid-May), I take a break from 12:30pm to 1:30pm and finish by 4 to 4:30pm. If you have wireless internet, I can bring my work with me so you have peace of mind your loved one can stay in their own space and not have any stress of being moved around. In my home, I do my best to make them feel at home and comfortable. I can bring their beds, toys, etc into my space and have a great, walkable area for them to explore all the smells. I am above a garage with a small porch that I can block off and hang outside with them. I love to love on your babies and introduce them to my local family and friends, especially my online students. My place is not huge, but I’ve hosted small to larger pets like labradors. For my clients, I have dropped in for a period of time, done overnights, extended stays, and even traveled and taken care of multiple pets and some farm animals to help them feel at ease knowing their babies are being taken care of like plant watering, egg harvesting, to mail and package pickup. I love to be around animals and work hard to ensure they feel loved, cared for, and a bit spoiled!

“Laura is awesome! This was my dog’s second visit and I plan on booking in the future. She sent pictures and my dog came home tired and happy.”

“Ashley and Daniel are beyond amazing! They are the first people I’ve ever had watch my lil fur baby that I didn’t know already. I was desperate to find somebody to trust my baby with when I had an unexpected weekend come up. So I scoured Rover. I am so happy to have found Ashley!!!! My little girl loved her immediately and they took such great care of her. Walks and fun times sniffing around their property and even a play date with a neighbor. I know my baby will always be happy when she goes there in the future and I’ll be happy knowing she is in the best care imaginable. Thank you thank you thank!!!”

About: Note— I return to college on the 22nd of August, and will not be available in the Gorge after that. Hi there! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I’ve cared for animals my whole life, and grew up with two dogs (Jack and Ozzy), in addition to chickens and rabbits. Most recently, I cared for a friends two labradors for a two months. I’m quick to learn specific care routines, and I’m attentive to changes in behavior or health—your pet’s comfort and safety are always my priority. Whether your animal is energetic, shy, or somewhere in between, I’ll treat them like my own. I am currently home from college for the summer, and working only sporadically from home. This means that your furry friend will be my first priority! I have a fenced yard one acre yard, and one friendly dog that is crate trained. I can easily crate your dog in my home too. If I am carrying for a dog in your home, I am available throughout the day to stop by and let the dog out, walk them, or to just hang out.

“Charlie was great with our difficult dog. Our dog takes a lot of attention and work and Charlie was up to the task and did a great job. He kept us in the loop and sent pictures consistently throughout the stay which was really nice and appreciated. We definitely recommend him and will be booking with him again.”

“Prudence is very kind and welcoming and her dog Pierre is very sweet and playful. After we left her house from the meet and greet, I felt at ease to leave our pups with her. She’s super close to a park and has a nice closed in courtyard for the dogs to relax on a nice day. Communication was easy and she responded quickly. She was also very accommodating and flexible on time. She kept us updated on how they were doing throughout their stay and sent us pictures of daily walks and time relaxing or playing with toys. We couldn't have asked for better care for our two lab mixes. We will definitely be using Prudence in the future and highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve had pups my whole life and have pet sat since I was 12. I adore animals of all kinds and will happily care for any and all of their quirks and needs. However, I cannot take any risks - if your pet doesn't get along with other dogs (in any way) or toddlers/kids (in ANY way) I will have to politely decline. I do not want to stress out any animals nor have to watch their every move around my child. Thank you for your understanding in this! We LOVE being outdoors and are very active. I can happily take your pet for a walk, run, bike ride or down to the beach daily. We spend all day outside and would plan to have your dog outside with us. We have a fenced in large backyard for them to play in if they are staying the night. Or I will come collect them for their walk and transport them in my vehicle to a hike or a walk from your house. I have a 2.5 year old daughter so they MUST be ok with toddlers. Please tell me if your pup is ok with kids. We have 2 dogs, 1 extremely friendly and LOVES other dogs. And the other is small and needs to be introduced but does a lot of snoozing on the couch. I am a stay at home mom with extra time on my hands. We love animals and love being active and are outdoors as much of the day as possible. How I care for your dog it’s up to you, their wishes, and their needs will most certainly be met. Safety and wellness of your pet is essential. I have two dogs myself and we also use Rovers for when we are out of town so I understand the importance of this.

About: I have always had a dog in my life, and currently own 2 high energy GSP’s. I live on 12 acres off a quiet road which is a haven for dogs of all kinds. I work from home so am able to give lots of attention throughout the day and love to cuddle at night. My dogs are extremely friendly and will likely want to cuddle your dog at night too after a full day of running around on the property. I provide attention to detailed needs (like checking for ticks or caring for a sprained ankle) without hesitation. So you can travel with ease knowing your pup will return happy and healthy! I work from home so can give your pup lots of attention throughout the day. The weekends I enjoy being outside, whether that’s working out on our land, or taking the dogs on a hike or down to the river. I’m open to embarking on your pups favorite activities to make them feel comfortable. Through my experience I’ve learned that an active and occupied dog is a happy dog when their owners are away, which is something I strive for with every dog including my own. I live on 12 acres that is unfenced but on a quiet road with few neighbors. At night one of my dogs is crated (since he’s still a puppy) the other is uncrated. They are lovers of every dog and human they meet. I am sure I can accommodate most any of your dogs needs while staying. Except for sleeping in the bed with me - sorry I can’t do that :)
