About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life—whether through 4H as a kid or continuing to learn everything I can about animal care as an adult. I’m especially passionate about working with shy or anxious pups; earning their trust is one of my favorite challenges (I have an anxious girl of my own, so I truly understand how tough it can be to leave them behind). I’m comfortable with all kinds of pet care, including giving medications and handling those “not-so-routine” tasks. If you’ve got a special request or an unsure situation, just ask—I’m always happy to help! I currently work four days a week, but I’m happy to fit in drop-in visits during the early mornings (6am–7am) and evenings (6pm–8pm) most days. On my days off—typically Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays—I have more flexibility and can often offer additional visits or even walks! I do my best to keep my schedule reliable, and I’ll always communicate clearly to make sure your pets get the care they need when you need it. When caring for pets in their own home, I do my best to keep things calm, consistent, and comforting. I stick to your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding times, walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. About: I have a lot of experience caring for cats and dogs. I grew up with cats and have lived with dogs, and understand their needs. For many years, I was the “go-to” person in town for house sitting and caring for pets while people were out of town. I take great responsibility in making sure every animal is well-cared for and loved! I am currently working part time and am free most of the day Monday-Friday. I can come most mornings and every evening every day of the week. I will care for your pets according to your instructions and will love them like they were my own! I value communication and honesty and will keep you informed and feeling at ease knowing your pets are in good hands.

About: 3.5 months of volunteer experience in a private shelter in Romania, taking care of 80+ dogs at any given time. Recently adopted one of the dogs from the shelter. Dogs and cats have always been present in my family. I work part time at Love and Hominy in Hood River. On the days I do work I do have periods of time to check on your fur-babies. Aside from that, my free days are fully open for whatever frequency is needed to check on your animals. I have a fenced yard with two dogs that are social. Occasionally there is a cat present. I’m fully comfortable taking your dogs on walks, playing with them, or just sitting and keeping them company.

About: Hi there! I’m Chris and I’ve been taking care of dogs for 15 years now. I currently live with my older female dog, Madison, who is a Rhodesian Ridgeback. I am currently in flight school in Hood River and have lots of free time to care for pups old and young. I’m an early riser and enjoy taking care of animals in any capacity. I have a fenced in yard and am able to take care of dogs during the day. Though I prefer to be outside for walks during the day I also very much enjoy couch time and attentive play with canines of all ages, demeanors, and sizes.

About: I have a big heart for animals (especially cats and dogs). I am very passionate and driven, i’ll make sure your pets have their needs (and wants) full filled! I work Monday-Thursday from 7-3ish normally. This being said I have most of my afternoons open and weekends and nights available to stay overnight or just walk your pets! I am very gentle and caring with animals, but I can be stern if needed. I don’t accept overnights in my own home due to allergies etc. But I will make sure your dog/cat has everything they need and gets love and attention in their home. I know how to handle big and small dogs, and most of the time I can keep them contained on a lead too.

About: I've always had a dog or 2 throughout my adult lire. My last dogs were 2 labraodor mixed dogs from the local shelter that I enjoyed walking twice a day everyday of their lives. I also enjoyed taking them to go on hikes in New Mexico and Texas. I also enjoy cats but I am most comfortable with dogs. Currently I am working part-time 3 days a week - I have Wednesdays through Saturdays off so those are the days I'd prefer to schedule but could also schedule Sundays through Tuesdays if your pet can be left in a crate at my house for boarding. I very much enjoy walking dogs. I would try and see what makes your pet comfortable - if they seem like they need attention I enjoy making you pet feel comfortable.
