“Kris is excellent with dogs and other animals. He has cared for our 3 dogs numerous times; a 14 year old maile lab, a 2 year old male French Mastiff, and a 9 month old female French Mastiff. The dogs are always healthy and happy when we return. Our dogs are active an require plenty of walks/ play to keep them occupied. Kris delivers above our expectations. About: I live an active lifestyle that involves going on walks and hikes around the beautiful Columbia Gorge. I grew up with dogs around the house and would love to take care of yours! I can provide the following services; walks, med administration, poop patrol, and expert belly rubs. She is an extremely responsible young lady who you can always count on. Quick to respond and keeps you well informed. Highly recommended!”
13. Steve H.
About: I've always had a dog or 2 throughout my adult lire. My last dogs were 2 labraodor mixed dogs from the local shelter that I enjoyed walking twice a day everyday of their lives. I also enjoyed taking them to go on hikes in New Mexico and Texas. I also enjoy cats but I am most comfortable with dogs. Currently I am working part-time 3 days a week - I have Wednesdays through Saturdays off so those are the days I'd prefer to schedule but could also schedule Sundays through Tuesdays if your pet can be left in a crate at my house for boarding. I very much enjoy walking dogs. I would try and see what makes your pet comfortable - if they seem like they need attention I enjoy making you pet feel comfortable.

16. Stacey T.
“Stacey has been walking my Great Pyrenees/Great Dane mix since August of 2022. It was twice a day, 5 or 6 days a week for months. She is very knowledgeable and handles him very well. She is prompt and always helpful. She even fit in unexpected visits when work kept me later than expected. Big thumbs up.”
17. Makenzie C.
“Makenzie did two drop-ins while we went to a concert in Portland. She worked around our dog's schedule to make sure our dog had potty breaks at the right time. The pictures were appreciated as this was the first time our dog had been home alone overnight.”
18. Sharon S.
About: I grew up caring for my family dog who had anxiety and helped train my mom's puppies, as well as dogsit for my friends occasionally. My family dog had pretty major anxiety so we did our best to make sure she was happy and anxiety free! We cared for her from the time she was a puppy until she passed away at 15, so I'm also comfortable caring for senior dogs. I'm comfortable caring for all types of dogs. I love dogs to the moon and back, but since I can't have a pup of my own right now I'd love to take care of yours! As far as my schedule goes, I generally work from 8 to 4. For drop-ins, I have somewhat sporadic days off, so if I’m free I’m happy to help! For housesitting, I’m happy to stay at your house, or whatever works best!
19. Katlyn V.
“Katlyn took great care of our pup! Used solid discretion when needed, and did exactly what we asked of her! We’re very grateful to have her here in the gorge and as a neighbor. Thanks again for your help!!!”
20. Cody H.
“Cody loves dogs, and cats, for that matter. He has always had a heart to care for them as if they are his own children. He seems to 'talk' a different language with them and takes all the time needed to make them feel special. He pays attention to what they need and how they are feeling. Cody is super responsible and always sets alarms to make sure he doesn't miss out on scheduled walks/feeds. You will be happy you called him.”
