About: I have been dog-sitting for the past 14+ years. From a young age I've helped neighbors with daily walks and weekend sitting, as well as taking care of our family labrador retriever, cat, and chickens. In college I house/dog sat for weekends and up to 2 months. I have experience with young puppies, senior dogs and cats, and administering oral medications/supplements. I am a dog mom to a 2 year-old mixed breed rescue who came with her fair share of quirks and challenges to work through, and feel very comfortable and confident with taking care of and working with any and all dogs. I quick to learn new routines, very patient, and am happy to help in any way that I can! I am fortunate to have a flexible schedule that allows for daily walks and/or overnight sitting. I would ideally love to find a dog that loves adventures and socializing as much as our pup and who would want to join for our daily hike/walk/play. But am also available to walk and help with any pup that prefers one-on-one time. I can stop in and feed your dog, I can lay on the sofa for hours with your dog, or I can take your dog trail running and swimming. I am flexible and open to working with what you and your dog need! I'm currently working a flexible schedule that allows for plenty of drop-in visits, walks, or sitting. I am available for last minute pet care as well! I am fortunate to live in a home where all animals are welcome. We've got pet-friendly sofas, numerous rooms to ensure your pet has its own space if needed, and a large fenced yard. All pets are different and whether it's leashed walks only, playing in the yard, or off-leash adventures - just let me know and we'll make it work!
