About: I’m Carina, I’m currently home with my one year old and two sweet senior dogs, Gabby and Roscoe, whose easy pace these days leaves me extra time and love for more pets. I have a background in childcare and outdoor education, so I’m patient, attentive, and good at reading what a dog or cat needs. I offer walks and drop-in visits, and treat every pet like part of the family. I am at home with my one year old, we have a very flexible schedule. We love spending our day with animals and happy to move our schedule around as needed. I offer walks , drop in visit or over night visit. Can’t offer boarding at my house. About: I live an active lifestyle that involves going on walks and hikes around the beautiful Columbia Gorge. I grew up with dogs around the house and would love to take care of yours! I can provide the following services; walks, med administration, poop patrol, and expert belly rubs. Currently I am a graduate student that works from home so I am avalible on the days that I do not go to classes. With this flexible schedule, it should be easy for me to fit you and your pet during the week. I have indoor cats that I love and care for. Therefore, I will not be able bring any dog or another cat into my home.

About: I'm an experienced dog sitter and former dog mom just returning to Rover and accepting new and returning clients! I have decades of experience taking care of dogs, including my own, friends', and dogs in rescues and shelters. I was the dog-walking coordinator for a dog rescue and a dog-walking volunteer for a public shelter for years. I actually grew up afraid of dogs and it was a big deal for me to start volunteering to walk strange dogs; it helped build my confidence, and I was -- and still am -- very attuned to what's going on with the creature at the other end of the leash. I believe every dog has unique needs and temperament and honor these while they're in my care to ensure they feel as secure and safe as possible. DOG SITTING AND BOARDING: I work from home as an editor, so your dog will get lots of attention and potty breaks. Your dog is welcome to join me on the couch or lie at my feet for regular pets, or chill in another room in or out of a crate. Whatever will make your dog feel most at ease while you're away. I recently lost my own 15-year-old dog, so your pup will be my sole focus (and will get lots of love and care). I have a fully fenced yard at my home for potty breaks (separate from walks/hikes). If you don't have a fully fenced yard at your home, it's no problem to take your dog for leashed potty walks as frequently as necessary.

I work full time Monday through Friday in White Salmon with some flexibility in my schedule and I’m also willing to stay overnight to provide consistent, reliable care for your pet in the comfort of their home if needed. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time and a friendly dog who enjoys playtime and walks.
