About: I'm an experienced dog sitter and former dog mom just returning to Rover and accepting new and returning clients! I have decades of experience taking care of dogs, including my own, friends', and dogs in rescues and shelters. I was the dog-walking coordinator for a dog rescue and a dog-walking volunteer for a public shelter for years. I actually grew up afraid of dogs and it was a big deal for me to start volunteering to walk strange dogs; it helped build my confidence, and I was -- and still am -- very attuned to what's going on with the creature at the other end of the leash. I believe every dog has unique needs and temperament and honor these while they're in my care to ensure they feel as secure and safe as possible. DOG SITTING AND BOARDING: I work from home as an editor, so your dog will get lots of attention and potty breaks. Your dog is welcome to join me on the couch or lie at my feet for regular pets, or chill in another room in or out of a crate. Whatever will make your dog feel most at ease while you're away. I recently lost my own 15-year-old dog, so your pup will be my sole focus (and will get lots of love and care). I have a fully fenced yard at my home for potty breaks (separate from walks/hikes). If you don't have a fully fenced yard at your home, it's no problem to take your dog for leashed potty walks as frequently as necessary.
About: I am a dedicated dog mom with hands on experience caring for both active and senior dogs. I love daily walks and outdoor play, and I treat every dog with the same patience, attention, and care I give my own. I work full time Monday through Friday in White Salmon with some flexibility in my schedule and I’m also willing to stay overnight to provide consistent, reliable care for your pet in the comfort of their home if needed. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time and a friendly dog who enjoys playtime and walks. I follow each pet's routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs to make sure they feel comfortable and at home.
About: Hello, I’m Bella, and I’m excited to be a part of Rover! I have a lifelong experience in caring for cats and dogs, having grown up with them in my family. Currently, I have two wonderful dogs: Zena, a five-year-old German Shepherd, and Leo, a four-year-old Staffordshire Terrier. I treat every pet as if they were my own, prioritizing their safety and happiness. My days are filled with enjoyable walks in nearby dog-friendly areas, plenty of playtime, and cozy companionship. With a flexible schedule, I’m well-prepared to meet any special needs your pet might have. My daytime availability is quite flexible, making me an ideal choice for those who work during the day and have pets with separation anxiety or simply need a friend while you’re away. I’m particularly enthusiastic about working with puppies, having cared for them in the past and having my own. I understand the importance of a schedule and routine for puppies, as well as the extra care they require. I understand the importance of finding the right match for you and pet in a sitter, which is why I maintain open communication with my clients. I am highly responsive to messages and provide numerous photo and video updates to give you peace of mind about your pet’s well-being.
“Sydney did a fantastic job caring for our furry boy and our home. She was highly responsible, following care instructions, took impeccable care of our garden and home. In fact, she left our home cleaner than she found it, over the top and unexpected. Her communication was awesome, she often sent texts and pictures and that was a great feeling when you are missing your fur baby.”

“Robin was super easy to communicate with. Warm and loving. She updated us about our two dogs. We have an older one, who needs To move slow and a younger, big baby, with lots of energy. She took time to meet both of their needs. Thanks Robin!”

“Brianna is reliable, communicative, and trustworthy. She took care of our cat for 9 days and left us heartwarming updates. She did an amazing job with Captain Jack and I just caught him waiting by the door for her. I highly recommended Brianna!”

I have also worked as a trained naturalist/wildlife guide and vet tech, and have extensive training in the biology, care, track and sign of mammals. Housesitting/animal care has offered me a wonderful opportunity to include animals in my life now that my own two Aussies have passed. I love meeting and getting to know your lovable pets! I love to be healthy and don't smoke anything :) I work part-time as a home health nurse with a very flexible schedule. Therefore, it's easy for me to incorporate pet-walking and housesitting into my schedule, offering lots of attention, love, and exercise/activity to meet the needs of your pets. About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, and caring for pets has always been second nature to me. From energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience, I understand that every animal has its own personality, routine, and needs. Over the years, friends and family have consistently trusted me to care for their pets as if they were my own—whether that means daily walks, overnight stays, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship and love. I take pride in being a dependable, compassionate sitter who creates a calm, safe, and happy environment while you’re away. I have a 4-yr old dog now named, Buckaroo, who is amazing with a majority of dogs. I work remotely for Aya Healthcare, a nurse and Locums management company. I am free to get away to walk your pet, or even stay at your place overnight and work from there. Plenty of schedule flexibility. I provide personalized, attentive care based on each pet’s routine and the specific service requested. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest to help reduce stress. I ensure a safe, clean environment, give plenty of affection and exercise, and closely monitor behavior, appetite, and overall well-being. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions carefully, including administering basic medications if needed. My goal is always to make pets feel comfortable, secure, and loved while giving owners peace of mind.
