About: Hello, my name is Sydney and I'm born and raised in Honolulu. I've been taking care of animals my whole life. From rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles, cats and dogs. I grew up with my Chihuahua Terrier and took care of her until she passed at 19 years old. I have experience in taking care of older or sick dogs and all their specific needs such as; giving medication, lifting and carrying to go potty (pee pads, or outside), carrying up and down stairs, administering IV fluids, cleaning up accidents, etc. You can trust me to take care of your babies with the most love and care. I know how difficult it can be leaving your furbabies with someone else. I will take care of them as if they are my own. I will provide updates, pictures and whatever else you need for peace of mind while you're away from your pet. SENIOR VISITS - for senior dog clients who cannot be left alone, book an hour drop in and message me with how long you'll need me to "babysit" and I can send you a price quote. For new clients we can set up a Meet & Greet and I can quote the price based on the work required. Please reach out with any questions. My heart is really with senior dogs since I have cared for my own senior doggy so I understand that sometimes they may need special assistance so just message me and we can make sure you and your animal are comfortable! I'm currently pet sitting full time so I will have plenty of time to take care of your furbabies! My full focus will be on your pets and making sure their needs are taken care of. Unfortunately, I am currently not watching dogs in my own home because I live in an apartment that does not have it's own yard for babies to run around in.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for years and truly understand that every pup is unique. From energetic puppies to senior dogs with special needs, I’ve worked with all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, administering medications, handling reactive behavior, and giving plenty of playtime, walks, and affection. Whether it’s a chill cuddle session or a high-energy adventure, I tailor every visit to your dog’s personality and needs. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and comfort are always my top priority. I have base access and I’m also available from 10pm to 6am on certain days of the week. I’m currently working night shift 3 days a week so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups. I’m available everyday and on weekends. When caring for a dog in a client’s home, I follow their routine closely to ensure the dog feels safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I make sure they’re fed on time, get plenty of exercise and play, and receive lots of love and attention. I keep the home clean, respect house rules, and stay in regular contact with updates and photos. Whether it’s administering medication, following specific training cues, or just giving extra snuggles, I treat every dog like they’re my own and make their well-being my top priority.

“Ryan and Alika are getting to know each other. Ryan makes an effort to get to know what Alika likes to play with and his routine in the park. Alika was happy upon return.”

“Amazing amazing amazing! I booked Nea very, very last-minute and she was able to accommodate! She took my pups on a hiking adventure. My Golden girls came back completely exhausted and happy. Will be working with her again very very soon!🥰💓🐾🐶”

“Shannon is an awesome dog walker! She goes above and beyond to communicate with pet owners about how walks are going. She has such great attention to detail- she is always sure to leave our dog with a treat or a refilled water bowl if he needs. Highly recommend!”

“Lyndi was awesome (as usual)! This is the third time booking Lyndi - she's always quick to respond, super dependable and I can tell my dog loves going on walks with her. It's not always easy leaving your pup behind when you go out of town but knowing Lyndi was there for him, put our minds at ease. She's absolutely amazing and I'm so grateful she takes such great care of our furbaby.”

About: My lifelong immersion in animal care, having grown up with multiple pets including cats and a rabbit, means I understand diverse animal personalities and communication styles. I'm skilled at reading body language and adjusting my approach based on each dog's individual temperament and needs. As Ghost's dad, I bring hands-on experience managing a husky's unique energy and needs. This gives me practical knowledge of proper exercise routines, mental stimulation, and the special attention active breeds require. I have experience working with dogs requiring special care, having previously cared long-term for a Chow Chow with specific needs. This taught me how to adapt routines and provide attentive care for dogs with unique requirements. My background with multiple pets (cats and rabbits) means I understand different animal personalities and communication styles. I'm skilled at reading body language and adjusting my approach for each pet's comfort. As a UH graduate student, I'm detail-oriented and reliable. Being fully available throughout summer means your dog gets my complete, undivided attention. I provide photo updates and detailed reports so you'll know your furry family member is receiving loving, consistent care. As a graduate student currently on summer break from UH, I have the unique advantage of being completely free every day, all day, throughout the entire summer. This means pet care isn't something I need to squeeze between other commitments – it can be my primary focus. My open schedule allows me to: - Adapt completely to your pet's ideal routine rather than forcing them to adapt to mine - Offer flexibility for early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening care - Provide longer, more attentive visits without rushing to my next appointment - Be available for last-minute requests or schedule changes - Give your pet my undivided attention during every visit Since I'm not balancing pet sitting with classes, work, or other major commitments this summer, I can truly dedicate myself to providing exceptional care for your pets. Whether your dog needs multiple walks throughout the day or your cat needs consistent company while you're away, my schedule is designed to prioritize your pet's needs and well-being. When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize maintaining their familiar environment and routine: - I follow your detailed care instructions precisely, respecting feeding schedules, medication times, and exercise routines - I spend quality time playing, cuddling, or simply providing companionship based on your pet's preferences - I keep your home secure, bringing in mail and alternating lights if requested - I send photo/video updates after each visit so you can see your pet is happy and comfortable - I leave detailed notes about eating, bathroom habits, behavior, and activities

About: I have been taking care of different kinds of dogs since i was 14. My family has 7 dogs and I love them all the same! We have 3 german shepards, one pitbull, one frenchie, one chihuahua and one shih tzu with maltese mix. I have experienced two of my dogs going into labor and helped them through that process, and I had helped one of our senior dogs walk on the daily when she sadly couldn’t walk no more. I feel like I am experienced all around when it comes to dogs. As of right now, I am living in Hawaii for college in an apartment that is pet friendly! Aloha! I am currently in college and I am doing almost all of my classes online. I have a pretty free schedule and will be excited to help out pet owners even on weekends if communicated with me. I have no pets in my apartment and I will be with your dog at all times! I will take your dog on walks and there will be other dogs going on walks right outside my apartment complex. The community I live in, is pet friendly and almost everyone that lives around here has a dog!

About: My friends and family tell me I should have become a vet, not a nurse (for humans). I absolutely love animals, especially dogs and cats! I have always been a pet owner-- as long as I can remember, and have pet-sat many times for neighbors and friends. I am unable to have pets of my own at the moment, but I am always in need of an animal fix. I will treat your pet with as much care, love and attention as I would my own. I am a nurse, so my schedule varies-- just ask me and I will explain my availability and routine. I will be prompt with responses as I always have my phone with me and will check for messages multiple times per day. I can't wait to meet you and especially my next furry friend! I am a nurse, so my schedule varies (sometimes day shift, sometime night shift, sometimes weekends or holidays)… and it changes week to week. On my off days, I have plenty of time to spend with your pet! I will take care of your pet as my own! I am flexible…Please let me know what I can do to make my time with your pet go smoothly!

“Ria did amazing. She is super friendly and engaging with my pup Archie. Archie sometimes needs a little bit to like someone but due to her positive attitude he loved her right away. The other day I was still at home when she picked him up and Archie was soooo excited to see her. She did great taking care of Archie and Archie was definitely happy after his walks. She is super responsive on rover and flexible with any extra requests. She always sends me picks of Archie being a big weirdo. I 100% recommend her and will book her services again.”

About: Hi! I am a designer working from home based in Honolulu, HI. I love love animals so much but I'm not able to have my own quite yet, so I'd love to help take care of yours! I have a lot of experience being around dogs, including my family pet Joy - a shy, tiny chihuahua terrier mix. In the future, I hope to have two birds, a hairless cat, and a dog :) Because I work from home as a freelancer, my work is very flexible / non urgent, which means I'll have plenty of time to take care of your baby. :) I'm currently residing in an apartment complex that is pet-friendly! It is also nearby a very quiet walkway that would be perfect for your pet to stroll / run around.

About: Hello! My husband and I have owned dogs our entire lives and are huge pet lovers. We treat all animals like they are our own and pride ourselves on providing excellent care. I have 6 years of pet sitting experience. We have a fenced in yard and a jack russell terrier mix named Cooper, a chihuahua mix named Amber, and a dachshund named Willow. All of my dogs are friendly and will pick up on your dog's energy; they love to play but also are trained to respect boundaries. I work from home part time, so I would be spending most, if not all day with your dog/s. I will be available all day for play time, cuddles, and potty breaks. My husband works during the day, and is home in the evenings. ***Please note that I work from home part time. My schedule is currently working from 6:30pm-10pm 3 days per week, and from 10am-3pm on most weekends. I will be unavailable for drop ins, pickups, and drop offs during that time. I do require a meet and greet to make sure that your dog/s will get along with mine. I require dogs to be up to date on their rabies and bordetella vaccines. In-Home Boarding: Please bring your dog/s food, bowls, treats, crate, and any toys you think would help them feel more at home. Photos of your babies will be sent every evening. I am free to take them on walks and try to keep their routine as similar as possible to their routine at home. I do not board cats in my home. *** I only accept one family for dog boarding at a time, so your pet/s will only be around my three dogs during their stay. *** All dogs must be crate trained. Your pets will be crated when no one is home and at night. I have experience with many different breeds and sizes of dogs (see photos). Drop-Ins: I am available for up to five drop-ins a day. I require a meet and greet in your home to meet your pets and have you show me everything that needs to be done. Photos are sent at the conclusion of each drop-in. Most drop-ins will only be completed by myself (Haily).

About: Dogs have been my quiet passion since childhood. I used to collect dog-themed postcards, books, and just about anything related to them. Calming dogs was even considered my “special skill” as a kid—and to this day, I still find joy in helping shy or anxious pups feel safe and loved. As a freelance designer who once dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, I bring that same care, sensitivity, and attention to detail into the way I care for animals. I naturally read each pet’s body language and adapt to their emotional needs—whether they need a slow, gentle approach or playful companionship. Even now, my husband and I sometimes visit service dogs at our local library to read books to them—just to spend time with dogs while we miss our own pup who lives with our parents on the mainland. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s something I truly love. I work from home on weekdays with a flexible schedule—typically between 8 AM and 4 PM—but I’m happy to adjust as needed to fit your pet’s care routine. I’m available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, or simply keeping your pet company. Evenings are also open, and my husband (who’s just as passionate about dogs!) often joins me in caring for them. Saturdays are also available, while Friday nights and Sundays may be limited due to church commitments. Above all, I’m committed to being present, responsive, and reliable—ensuring your pet always feels safe, loved, and well cared for. To start, I’m focusing on dog walking and drop-in visits outside the home. I live in a cozy two-bedroom condo with an ocean view, which is currently best suited for small to medium-sized dogs. As I gain more experience and build trust with each pet I care for, I plan to gradually offer in-home daycare as well. Our space is clean, quiet, and filled with warmth—perfect for dogs who enjoy a calm, cozy environment with lots of love. Whether I’m walking your dog or caring for them at home, safety, comfort, and trust are always my top priorities.

About: Most recently in March 2022, I enjoyed housesitting a sharpei for 3 weeks. Before that I housesat a very adorable golden doodle for a week. In 2021, my friends would often leave their dogs with me when they would travel lasting from days - weeks. I recently completed the Google UX Design Certificate. Therefore, I’ll be job hunting full time; I have time throughout the day to walk, feed, and hang out with your dog! Since I will be housesitting, your dog will be familiar and comfortable in their own home, decreasing the possibility of anxiety and maximizing their comfort!

About: 😁Aloha! My name is Debbie Ye. My boyfriend and I both work from home most of the time, which means your furry friend will never be short on love, attention, and belly rubs. We live in a pet-friendly building with lots of green space nearby, perfect for walks, sniff breaks! We’re proud paw-rents to our sweet golden retriever, who’s super friendly and always happy to make new friends. We’ll treat yours like our own, with patience, care, and lots of play. Feel free to message us if you have any questions or want to set up a meet-and-greet! We’d love to meet you and your pet 🐶🐾 I like to know what makes your dog happy, what situations make them uncomfortable, how you typically exercise them, and what key commands they know (or are working on). I would also like to know about any special dietary restrictions they have, medication they are taking, or special services they might need. In our home, pets are treated like family! We make sure they have a cozy space to relax, fresh water at all times, and lots of play and cuddle time. Walks are scheduled regularly throughout the day, and we follow their usual routines to keep them comfortable. When caring for pets in a client’s home, we focus on keeping things familiar for them. We respect the pet’s routines and space, give them plenty of attention, and always leave the home just as we found it—clean and cared for. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or bedtime cuddles, we make sure your pet feels loved and safe. If it’s your first booking in Rover. Use code “DEBBIY54397” to get $20 off your first booking with me! Nea was absolutely wonderful - I needed someone comfortable with a larger, strong, and possibly excitable dog and she was so great and loving with our dog. She was so responsible, perfectly prepared and so accommodating of my requests and schedule. I feel so lucky to have found her, and I will definitely request Nea's dog walking services the next time we travel. Thank you so much Nea!

Great puppy sitting and dog walking in Kakaako. Very responsive and even sent me lots of pics of a happy puppy while I was away on travel and took extra steps to make sure my dog was happy.

Will definitely book again for walks. I liked that she showed interest in getting to know my baby. Communication with her is great!

Dominique is the best! She has been walking my dog while I am at work for several weeks now and I will continue to use her in the future! She is reliable, she responds quickly, and she is always sure to let me know her availability as quickly as she can. I have really appreciated working with her and I know Louie looks forward to seeing her in the future!

Janey is very thoughtful and careful with my senior dog, Ellie! She is understanding of her needs and places the utmost care with her. Janey is detailed in providing updates during the walks. Thanks, Janey!!

Shannon is so amazing and sweet with my older dog Ellie! She came through last minute and helped me with Ellie’s walks and meals for 4 days. She is gentle and attentive in her care for Ellie. We are happy to have Shannon in our lives!

Chase helped out with 4 last minute walks for Bella this week, and I have to say he went above and beyond! My little dog is usually very timid esp with new people but warmed up to Chase right away! He was very punctual, communicative, and took Bella on extra long walks around our neighborhood :) AND bonus, he even taught her to do a little “SPIN”! Would not hesitate to book Chase to care for Bella again!

Lyndi is so great! I’ve booked with her multiple times. She is very reliable and my dogs have a great time in her care!

Kristie was fantastic and extremely flexible with our schedule. She was on time and really took care of guava. She has a lot of care and asked alot of questions on how we walk guava. 10/10

Andrea was friendly and professional. She gave me a detailed recap and many pictures of her walk with my pup. Would recommend and use her again!

Many thanks for all you’ve done in the past couple of days to keep the routine going for the dogs. Appreciate the communication, responsiveness, and care while we were away. Anyone who books with Emily will be lucky to have her.

Yakov walked Diego twice a day for me just after I got out of the hospital. He was a lifesaver. Most importantly, Diego looked forward to the walks and was always happy to see him.

Charlie is amazing. My dog loves seeing her. She is on time. She provides updates with the mileage, how many pee and poop stops, and photos for every walk. A++++

She was fabulous!! Had no issues, responded within an hour and came at the time I requested: will definitely use again!

I have hired Emma twice now and she is very good with my dog, Maple, It is obvious that she is a natural when it comes to animals. Emma is also very prompt, professional, and communicative. I have already booked her for future walks because I trust my dog in her care. TY!

Luna is professional & has great communication. She took my pup for a fun walk & he definitely approves :) I Will be using Luna again for my pups walks.

Kelsey was awesome! She communicated great because she was dealing my wife instead of myself. She texted with her when she got there, talked to my wife about anything needed, was kind and walked Murphy (who loved her). Thanks!

Hayley has been walking our two dogs for a little while now and she has been nothing but wonderful. Very patient, loving, responsible. We couldn’t have asked for a better walker!

Lovina is THE best! She is so kind, communicative, and great with our dog Addie. Highly recommend her services!

Alexander is absolutely the best caretaker for my golden doodle, Reggie! He walks Reggie regularly and has been incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and attentive. Communication with Alexander is always so easy, and I can tell he genuinely cares about Reggie’s happiness and well-being. I feel completely at ease knowing Reggie is in such great hands. Highly recommend Alexander to anyone looking for a top-notch dog walker!
