“Such a great experience! I highly recommend Katie and family. I needed someone fairly last minute and received a quick response followed by excellent communication throughout Finn’s stay. He was well cared for and given extra love during the 4th of July holiday. Will definitely book again!”

“Soooo happy to have met Kayte and her family, they treated Rosie with so much love, attention, care, and like their own. Definitely will be connecting with them again. So thankful and appreciative for your care Kayte!”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was a little girl. I have always loved playing with them and loving them. They are such great entertainment and being so much joy to life! I have a very flexible work schedule and work from home part of the day. I enjoy taking evening and morning walks so pups will get plenty of exercise. I have a fenced in backyard and there is a fenced in dog park on the property where I live. There is a very safe area for walking all around my complex.

“Amazing dog sitter! Lauren kept me updated the entire stay with our pups. She made my dogs feel comfortable and was flexible with drop off and pick up scheduling. Would definitely recommend her and rebook her!”

“Being that this was our first time using Rover, we did not know what to expect, but had heard great things from family members. We decided to use Rover last minute and do not regret going with this option. Andrew was very quick to respond and asked so many great questions to ensure our dogs safety. Upon arrival, their space was very welcoming and clean. Our dog immediately started searching and inspecting the house which made us feel great knowing that he was comfortable and safe. Andrew communicated with us everyday and sent pictures of our little one which made us feel at ease while away. Without a doubt, I will be working with Andrew again and would refer him to friends and family as well. Thank you Andrew for being such an amazing Uncle to our baby! He misses you already!”

“Mel was incredible with our Violet! She provided us with daily pictures and videos, and we felt so comfortable leaving our girl with such a sweet and caring lady. Violet seemed to have a wonderful time and was very obviously well cared for. We will definitely be repeat customers!”

“Dear pet owner, you may find yourself looking for reasons to go out of town so you can leave your pets with Jessica. She is such a sweet and caring soul and took such good care of my cats for me. I can’t imagine a better caretaker for animals.”

“I had to take a last minute trip out of state and used Rover for the first time. I chose Libby and she was absolutely wonderful. She was easy to book last minute and she took good care of my fur babies. I have a 9 year old Samoyed/Husky mix and a 6 month old Samoyed. She was very responsive and sent the best pictures and videos of my babies. I highly recommend her and I will definitely book with Libby again in the future.”

About: I know how stressful it can be to choose someone to care for your pets, and I’ve totally been there. I have two small dogs myself, and I hate leaving them behind. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pets are safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’ve cared for animals my whole life, from cats, and dogs, to even an abandoned deer for two days. I’d love to be your best friend’s new best friend! Currently, I’m a stay at home dog mom. I take my boys to the Red Mountain or Vestavia Hills Dog Park almost everyday, and they couldn’t be happier! Whether your pet stays with me or I come to you, they’ll be cared for just like my own. In my home, they’ll enjoy our fully fenced, backyard, walks, playtime, and plenty of snuggles. In your home, I’ll stick to their routine so they feel happy, safe, and loved

I own The Fairy Dod Dad which is a premier dog walking company based out of Vestavia Hills, AL. It not only fits into my daily routine but IS my Daily Routine. I care for all pets I walk and board like our life depends on it, because it does - This is my full time career. I am fully licensed and rated as the premier dog walking co in Birmingham.

About: I have grown up with pets my whole life! I currently have a 3 year old golden doodle who loves other dogs and people. I’m happy to care for all kinds of pets with various needs! I’m currently working an evening shift 4 days a week, so weekends are best if you want your dog to have full-time attention. I’m also happy to watch pets when I work, they will just have to stay home alone while I am gone! I do not have a fenced in yard, but have lots of room to walk! I take my dog to the dog park at least a few times a week, so we will have plenty of exercise and play time!

About: For as long as I can remember, there have always been pets in my life! Whether that was in my own home growing up, in a family member's home, at friends' houses, etc. I have often been the go-to person when it comes to caring for them when their owners are out of town. From walking, feeding, playing, administering medication, and more, I have absolutely loved getting to care for pets of all sizes and ages. As for my own pet experience, after moving to Birmingham in 2018 I applied to become a foster through Two by Two Rescue and began fostering (and quickly failed) with my sweet 13-year-old Pekingese, Max. He was truly the light of my life and we were the best of friends! He taught me a ton about how to care for senior dogs. Before his passing in 2021, I rescued my cat, Mews, and although she's a little hesitant around other pets she stays in her own space! At my own home, I do have stairs but have no issue helping any senior pups or dogs afraid of going upstairs feel comfortable. I used to have to carry Max all the time, haha. I'm also comfortable with pee pads as they used to be a staple in my apartment. I'm not particular about whether or not your pet is create trained and have no issue if they're not! As long as they'd be okay around my cat, I'm more than happy to let them roam around as they please. There are plenty of sidewalks around my apartment for walkies and we're close to a community park as well! Discussing my work schedule is something I do before my meet and greets just so we both have an understanding of expectations. However, my full-time job is a hybrid environment so I'm able to work remotely usually 2 days out of the week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) to care for your pet. On days I am in the office, I'm happy to run by your home during my lunch break if you're close to my office in Hoover. At my home, there is plenty of walking space to take your pup out and get some exercise. We can visit a local park near my house if that's something they'd enjoy. I'm also happy to crate your fur baby if needed.

Hannah G.
“Hannah is a fabulous pet sitter! She has watched my 6 year old cat, Oliver for at least 4 years and I've had zero complaints from him haha. Honestly though, Oliver was not a people person at ALL but because Hannah was so patient and gave him his space, he came around to her and they've been best buddies since. I'd like to think that she was the gateway to making him into the social butterfly he is now. I travel a good bit to go see family out of state and she's always so eager to take care of Oliver for me. She sends pictures, videos, and vital updates while I'm away and missing my cat. Not only is she a great sitter, but also a wonderful pet parent herself so she doesn't lack any experience with cats and dogs. Her warm personality will allow your pet to feel comfortable with her while you're away. When hiring Hannah, just know your sweet pet friend is in good hands because she adores animals and is just overall a wonderful person.”
