“Jeffrey takes great care of our pup, Tia. We used him for visits and walks prior to our most recent week vacation. We recently went away for a week and Jeffrey stayed at our home. He followed any/all directions we had left for our dog and kept us in the loop daily when we checked in. We trust him to stay in our home and take great care of our dog. Our dog is typically anxious and when we got home from our trip, we saw that Tia ate very well while we were gone which is sometimes a struggle when we leave her. We were very happy with her care. We look forward to continuing to use Jeffrey for future trips and daily walks.”

About: I am 22 years old and have had dogs my entire life and know how to properly take care of any dog of any size. Even though I am a dog person cats do not bother me. About: My very first job was at a doggy daycare, where I cared for all types of dogs for years. This included playing with them, feeding them, picking up after them and bathing them. This job included a lot of patience and required a lot of passion for pet care. I gained a lot of quality experience caring for dogs of many breeds. To this day it has been one of the more fulfilling jobs I've ever had. In addition to that, I grew up with a dog (half poodle, half bichon frise) who lived until 16. Now, I have a fur niece who is 9 and love her as if she is my own! Between working in the doggy daycare industry, growing up with my own, and my overall huge love for dogs, I would be honored to care for any dog I could. Additionally, if I am dog sitting at my house, I have a big backyard for them to play in! I get home from work around 1pm each day at the latest, so I have plenty of time during the day to spend time and take care of the dog. I live in a standalone house on a quiet street. I have a big backyard that is partially fenced but I would always stay outside with them considering the surrounding woods.

About: Growing up, my very first chores were dog- related, so animal care has always been integral in my life. While I sadly no longer have any furry friends of my own, I am an animal person at heart. I’ve pet-sat for family, neighbors, friends, Rover clients, for pets of all breeds and sizes, and I’m very comfortable around any dogs. I grew up with 2 German-shorthaired pointers, and I was responsible for their care daily before and after school. As we (me and the dogs!) all got older, I was the primary caretaker of them in their senior years, so I’m very familiar with the struggles and ailments that come with elderly dogs. I am strong enough to lift most dogs if stairs are any issue- our dogs were around 60-70lbs. I have had roommates with cats who I’ve become very close with. I’ve always loved cats, so learning to care for them and earning their trust was so exciting. I’ve cared for the cats for a week’s time before, so would feel comfortable caring for cats as well. I love pet sitting- it’s nice to have a furry friend to visit since I lack one in my own family at the moment! Any client of mine gets all the pets and attention they could ever dream up. I am also very active, and I walk or run every day, so having a companion there is a bonus for us both!
