It usually takes a few hours for Max to warm up to men, if at all, but Spencer had no problem at all earning Max's trust. Spencer has also watched my 2 cats, one of which (Bella) was very elderly and had complex health needs. Bella required constant care- including that she had chewing fatigue and would only eat her food in a specific way, which Spencer made for her (pureed boiled chicken with chicken broth).
