About: I've been caring for animals of many species my whole life and take their happiness as seriously as any loved one. I offer drop-in visits, dog walks, and short-term house sits for dogs and cats. I'm experienced with medical protocols and some specialized care for senior and special needs animals, including administering medications and more complex routines. I work with well-trained, well-behaved dogs and have extensive experience with all cat personalities, from anxious to senior to special needs. Where I stand out is that I'm a certified Animal Reiki Master and intuitive. I'm deeply attuned to how animals actually feel and what they need. I genuinely enjoy being present with them and creating a calm, trusting space. I'm an avid walker who loves taking dogs out and exploring together, and I'm an expert at cat play behavior. My own cat needs vigorous morning play to stay balanced, so I get it. I’ll follow your protocols exactly and you'll get updates so you know your pet is thriving and cared for. Your pets are truly remarkable little beings and they deserve all the love and respect they can get. Drop-in visits and walks are available Saturday through Tuesday. For overnights and short-term house sits, I maintain limited availability Friday through Monday, taking on one booking per week. I work part time with my own small business, which is why I'm selective about my schedule. This allows me to provide the quality care and attention your pet deserves. When I'm at your home, I follow your pet's daily routine and schedule as closely as possible. I respect your space completely and leave no trace once I've gone. I'm attentive to your pet's emotional and physical state, so I notice if something feels off and I'll communicate with you about it. I provide regular updates so you know exactly how your pet is doing while you're away. I follow your instructions precisely and care for your home and your animals with the same respect I give my own.

About: I have taken care of my childhood dog (now 18 years old) since I was a kid! I have watched friends’ and family’s pets for 5 years now. My father also has a puppy (who is a tri-pod!) who I helped him welcome home and train when he was adopted. My love for older dogs and pets with physical differences sets me apart as a dedicated, patient pet caregiver. I love long walks and am willing to go the extra mile for your pet! I have a very open daytime schedule, and can easily take pets on walks or stop by for check-ins during the daytime. My other job has odd hours, but it leaves the rest of my schedule flexible and open! I am a very active person and would love to run, walk, or play with your pet! For less active pets, I am happy to play indoors, snuggle, or hang out during visits. I am willing to learn any special routines or needs for your pet, as I believe every animal should be given a life that meets its own abilities and comfort.

“We found Jamie when we were looking for someone to walk our 2 dogs while I was out of town and my husband had 12 hour work shifts. We have a 10 month old and 2 year old pitbulls, and Jamie was wonderful with them!! He came over late at night and walked them nearly 2 miles every time, even in the pouring rain! He cleaned up when our puppy had an accident, and left wonderful notes so we could know how the visit went. We even told him he didn’t need to walk our older dog since the puppy is handful enough, but he easily walked both of them every time! We will definitely use Jamie again and again when we need a dog sitter!”

About: I have been taking care of my own animals my whole life, and have sat for other people on numerous occasions. I have also assisted with much of the care and feeding of a dog and several cats over the years. I live in South St. Louis City, and I can only really work there or in areas near there, but if you live close to me you will never be without the help you need. I can stay in your house if you'd like me to, but I can't keep other people's pets in my house because I have a very nervous and shy cat who would be made uncomfortable by this and a crazy dog who might scare your pets. I repeat: I can stay in your house or I can just pop in and out to take care of your pets, but I cannot have outside animals stay in my home. I also walk dogs. The rates for that might be a little bit different, but I assure you they will still be affordable. I have to say though that I cannot walk for an extended period in thunderstorms or freezing/icey temperatures. That's for my safety as well as your dog's. I will be your pet's new best friend and your asset when you are in a pinch or are going somewhere and can't take care of them. I have loved animals since I was a child, and I rarely find one with which I don't get along. I don't have a job which will take me out of town frequently, so I can provide my services as long as they are needed. I look forward to meeting you and your adorable animal friends! About: I have over 12 years with pet care experiencing, including FFA, private families, shelters, and my own fur babies! I am a kind, compassionate, veteran who loves animals and am dedicated to making their care experience as easy (and fun!) as possible! I have experience with puppies to seniors, medical administration, and dogs with disabilities. I am a disabled veteran who currently does a lot of volunteer work - that being said I am available throughout the week and weekends with atleast 1 day notice :D I start care with making sure the necessities are taking care of, such as food, water, medicine, litter cleaned or potty break/walk. I then make sure the animal energy is matched through either play time, walks, relaxing (with pets!)!

About: Hey, I’m Elizabeth! I grew up with dogs and now have my own playful pup, Lorax (2 years, 6 months). From time to time, I also foster through Stray Rescue STL, which has given me experience caring for dogs with different needs, personalities, and ages. I provide a safe, caring environment where every dog feels comfortable—whether that means long walks, active playtime, or simply lots of love and attention. Your pup will be treated like family while in my care. I take dog-sitting very seriously. When I am dog-sitting, I prioritize it and my schedule revolves around taking care of them as best as I can. While under my care I stay with them at all times when going outside and on schedule with their food and if they take medication.

About: I’ve taken care and been around cats and dogs since I was a child. I understand our fur babies require play time and so much love! I am currently actively applying to jobs as a social worker, and have a lot of free time throughout my days as I am staying home with my fur babies while I do so! I take my doggies on a walk, take treats with me and poop bags to ensure they get rewarded for being good babies and cleaning up after them. If we’re going to a park, I make sure they have toys, water and get their sniffs in!

About: ***Constant care pets will be an extra fee*** Constant care is care in which we cannot leave your pet alone for more than 3 hours. Meet and greets are free unless you need more than one before the stay, then the first meet and greet is free. My expertise is with older dogs, pets with disabilities (such as dementia or seizures), and pets that need medications. I'm also experienced in multi-pet homes where one or more pets are seniors/special needs and other pets are high energy or puppies/kittens. I have experience caring for pets who are recovering from operations as well. If your pet does need Constant care, we can negotiate a price that works for you. I've always had pets. I have always had cats, dogs, guinnea pigs, or ferrets. I'm versed in many kinds of animals and am happy to care additional small animals if needed. Short notice is ok as long as there are at least 2 days between the time I'm asked and the time of the stay so that there's time for a meet and greet. For repeat customers, I accept even same-day requests. I work 8 hours, 4 days a week. Since we do petsitting together, if there is a need for constant care, one of us will always be present in the home with your pet. Safety is my #1 priority when caring for your pets. I make sure to watch pets attentively on walks and in the yard to ensure maximum safety. My services include grabbing mail and packages, watering plants, giving medications as instructed, daily walks as instructed, basic cleaning up after myself and your pets, daily updates and pictures, and following your regular schedule as closely as possible to ensure as seamless a change as possible while you get to experience a worry-free time away.
