The founder of Dogs & Recreation is a dog trainer skilled at understanding dog behavior and employing advanced dog handling techniques. The Dogs & Recreation home has a large fenced backyard with additional security to prevent even the most talented dog from escaping. The backyard is a mini dog park with dog agility tunnels, obstacle courses, balls, and tug o war toys. The dogs will enjoy a lot of outside and cuddle time on the sofa! The pups at Dogs & Recreation get the best care possible. Let yours join all the fun and adventures our Pack goes on! We revolve our schedule around caring for the puppers! Their safety and happiness are our top priorities. In the morning, we play kickball! In the afternoon, fun craziness like fetch, kickball, tug of war, tag, play wrestling, and more! In the evening, group cuddles and play wrestling in the living room! We provide one of the safest environments for your pupper! All dogs are screened for updated health records prior to and upon arrival. A dog trainer evaluates their temperaments to confirm they are friendly enough for the Dogs & Recreation Pack. The backyard is routinely treated with anti-mosquito, anti-tick, anti-flea formulas to prevent the spread of disease. The perimeter of the fence is secured with panels that prevent even the most experienced escape artist from getting out. We supervise the dogs at all times to make sure each dog is happy and comfortable. Our sitter's are trained in many techniques that help reduce and prevent altercations between dogs. Fresh, filtered water is provided several times a day and treated with a dental formula that improves dog oral health, whitens teeth, and eliminates bad breath. Dog gates are placed throughout the house to keep dogs safe and secure. Areas are routinely disinfected using pet-friendly cleaners so that your pupper has a clean environment to call home everyday!

About: I have been taking care of my own animals my whole life, and have sat for other people on numerous occasions. I have also assisted with much of the care and feeding of a dog and several cats over the years. I live in South St. Louis City, and I can only really work there or in areas near there, but if you live close to me you will never be without the help you need. I can stay in your house if you'd like me to, but I can't keep other people's pets in my house because I have a very nervous and shy cat who would be made uncomfortable by this and a crazy dog who might scare your pets. I repeat: I can stay in your house or I can just pop in and out to take care of your pets, but I cannot have outside animals stay in my home. I also walk dogs. The rates for that might be a little bit different, but I assure you they will still be affordable. I have to say though that I cannot walk for an extended period in thunderstorms or freezing/icey temperatures. That's for my safety as well as your dog's. I will be your pet's new best friend and your asset when you are in a pinch or are going somewhere and can't take care of them. I have loved animals since I was a child, and I rarely find one with which I don't get along. I don't have a job which will take me out of town frequently, so I can provide my services as long as they are needed. I look forward to meeting you and your adorable animal friends! About: I grew up around dogs and have been a 2x cat mom for 5 years. I frequently pet sit for friends. I’ll treat your pets like my own! I work a full time job but I do have a lot of free time. I work until 2:30 every day and have weekends completely free. I’m very respectful of everyone’s personal spaces and am more than happy to tidy up after pets. As I have 2 cats of my own, I am not offering pet sitting in my own home.

About: ****Attention****Before booking your pet’s stay with me, if your dog is an escape risk, I will not service them. ( I will go into more detail through booking.) I have taken care of my family member dogs and ever since then , my family never relies on anyone else to take care of them. I will walk , feed , play and bathe your pets. I will do everything I can to make sure your pups are having a good time and make sure they are happy with their experience. I am available everyday of the week and I can also work around your time so I have all day and night to play and take care of your pups ! I also live with my spouse and he is also an animal lover so he will be helping me out also to make sure they enjoy their stay. We will make sure that your doggies get all the snuggles and cuddles. They will be in a non -smoking and clean home. This is a non-danger home that I am staying in. I will do everything to make sure you and your pets are in a trusted and safe environment. They will be in the house before it gets dark and I won’t let any harm happen to them.

About: I grew up with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. At one point I was taking care of 3 dogs. Currently helping my roommate train her small dogs! I am able to care for pets most nights and weekends! Can stay overnight or make a quick stop for potty breaks, walks, and lovings. I keep a relatively strict feeding schedule but know when to throw in some extra treats for fun. I do my best to exercise with pets and get their energy out in a safe manner.

About: ***Constant care pets will be an extra fee*** Constant care is care in which we cannot leave your pet alone for more than 3 hours. Meet and greets are free unless you need more than one before the stay, then the first meet and greet is free. My expertise is with older dogs, pets with disabilities (such as dementia or seizures), and pets that need medications. I'm also experienced in multi-pet homes where one or more pets are seniors/special needs and other pets are high energy or puppies/kittens. I have experience caring for pets who are recovering from operations as well. If your pet does need Constant care, we can negotiate a price that works for you. I've always had pets. I have always had cats, dogs, guinnea pigs, or ferrets. I'm versed in many kinds of animals and am happy to care additional small animals if needed. Short notice is ok as long as there are at least 2 days between the time I'm asked and the time of the stay so that there's time for a meet and greet. For repeat customers, I accept even same-day requests. Safety is my #1 priority when caring for your pets. I make sure to watch pets attentively on walks and in the yard to ensure maximum safety. My services include grabbing mail and packages, watering plants, giving medications as instructed, daily walks as instructed, basic cleaning up after myself and your pets, daily updates and pictures, and following your regular schedule as closely as possible to ensure as seamless a change as possible while you get to experience a worry-free time away. I may not be at the house 24/7 during the stay (unless you're paying for constant care), but I will definitely be following the schedule you leave for me as closely as possible. I clean up after myself and after your pets if they make any messes. I follow any house rules you may have and enforce rules for your pets. We're currently able to provide constant care with no limitations due to work. One of us will always be available to care for your pets at any time throughout the day and overnight. Most of the time, both of us will be present. I'm LGBTQ+ friendly as well as disability friendly. I will provide excellent care for your pets. I try to keep the routine as close as possible to what pets are used to. I will try our best to leave the house as it was or better than it was when I arrived. As I had stated above, your pets' safety is my #1 priority, so I make to keep a close eye on them any time they're outside, but also if I'm informed of special needs and additional things to look for, I make sure to keep an eye out for that.
