Pet care experience

Personalized pet care!

I’ve always had cats, dogs, and other various pets, and understand that no two are just alike. I genuinely enjoy getting to know individual animals personalities and winning their trust and affection. I’ve handled difficult personalities and situations, so don’t be afraid to tell me all about your pets needs. My promise when caring for other peoples pets is to not just to care for them like they’re my own, but rather care for them the way that you would. Please feel free to give me explicit directions in any training you may be continuing, behaviors you would like me to encourage or discourage, what your pets likes, dislikes, and quirks are, and anything else you can think of! I’m also an out-of-shape distance runner who desperately needs to get back in the game, so walking (or running) dogs is ideal for me. I am a special education teacher in the St. Louis public school district and I’m currently teaching summer school at Shaw VPA Elementary from 8:30 AM to 3:17 PM. I am available before or after that and during weekends. I have a backyard with security cameras to make sure I can watch your for baby even if I have to step away for a moment. I have a female Chihuahua who is about 9 years old, a male Pomeranian puppy almost 1, a 2 year old male cat, and an nine-year-old son who has been around dogs his entire life and is very careful & compassionate. He loves to join me on visits and walks if appropriate. My home is animal and child friendly and I love having fur-companion company.

Safety, trust & environment

My goal is to mimic your pets existing routine. I’m comfortable continuing any training, schedules, or just play and give comfort while you’re away. I provided updates, real-time photos and videos, and documentation of daily activities as appropriate or requested. Additionally, I’m very cautious with the safety and security of your pets and home. I have experience with various unexpected situations that have the potential to compromise security, and am very confident in my ability to preserve it. You can trust me with safety, privacy, and security.

Dog Walking • Apr 06, 2026

Elizabeth provided our family complete peace of mind when we were unable to give Tux his normal daily walks. We felt very comfortable knowing that she has experience with her own aging doggie with particular preferences. Elizabeth was able to get Tux into his harness for the walk and reward him his daily supplement treat. She always made sure he had fresh water and food before leaving. When we’re in need, we will be reaching out to Elizabeth again.

Doggy Day Care • Dec 24, 2024

Elizabeth is the most professional, sweet, and amazing caretaker! I had an emergency situation and needed someone to watch my new puppy while I was at work. She was incredibly accommodating and quickly responded. Not only was she very careful with keeping my puppy safe, Elizabeth was incredibly knowledgable and experienced. She provided photos and regular updates while I was at work and gave my puppy the most amazing first stay away from home! Thank you so much for all the help! :)

House Sitting • Oct 05, 2023

Elizabeth stayed at our house and took great care of both our dogs! One is large and and energetic, the other old and arthritic who just wanted pets. She was extremely thorough and professional and I could relax knowing I was leaving our dogs in capable hands.

Don’t be afraid to tell me anything that could be helpful for your dog to have the best time possible. Even if your dog has aggressive tendencies or behaviors, let’s talk about it to ensure a comfortable interaction for everyone. I’m happy to continue any training you are working on, will adhere to your pets schedules, and if I am dropping in or housesitting, please let me know any other relevant information about things you may request, including watering plants, taking trash out, etc.
