About: If you're looking for someone to watch your pets while you're away, then look no further. I have been taking care of my own animals my whole life, and have sat for other people on numerous occasions. I have also assisted with much of the care and feeding of a dog and several cats over the years. I live in South St. Louis City, and I can only really work there or in areas near there, but if you live close to me you will never be without the help you need. I can stay in your house if you'd like me to, but I can't keep other people's pets in my house because I have a very nervous and shy cat who would be made uncomfortable by this and a crazy dog who might scare your pets. I repeat: I can stay in your house or I can just pop in and out to take care of your pets, but I cannot have outside animals stay in my home. I also walk dogs. The rates for that might be a little bit different, but I assure you they will still be affordable. I will be your pet's new best friend and your asset when you are in a pinch or are going somewhere and can't take care of them. I have loved animals since I was a child, and I rarely find one with which I don't get along. I don't have a job which will take me out of town frequently, so I can provide my services as long as they are needed. I look forward to meeting you and your adorable animal friends! I have availability on weekdays as well as weekends Message me and we can talk about scheduling a time for me to walk your dog I will make sure the animal gets whatever care they need I am not a vet though, so if your animal is sickly and/or old then I don't know how well I can care for them

“Nick was excellent. We needed someone on short notice to take our energetic dog for long walks for 4 days while my husband recouped from a muscle sprain. Nick was responsive, on time each day, sent Rover Cards documenting the map and time of his walks. Great guy. Our dog took to him like a dog takes to a bone. Will definitely use Nick again.”

“Allison is super sweet and caring with my dog. She is very reliable and timely. Highly recommend!!”

“Amazing dog walker. So friendly and very good at communicating. Our dog got a nice long walk and was very happy. I would recommend him every time!!”

“Rachel is wonderful! I could tell she really cared about Frank’s wellbeing and she has been super flexible with my crazy schedule. I will be using her again!”

About: I've had my own pets since 1991. I had a rabbit and dog in college and have learned over the decades how to best care for our friends. I've just retired from a busy career, so I know how important it is to find someone to care for your animals when you're away; even if it's just the gym or happy hour after work. I've fostered for several area rescues and know folks have a different idea of appropriate care. I only use fear free methods, because our animals need to know they can trust us. I've had young high energy dogs who need play and long walks and I've cared for my dogs in their last years when they needed additional care or special medical needs including pills, dressings, eye drops and carrying older dogs who aren't as mobile anymore. I would love to get to know your pets and help you give them the best life. I'm currently retired and searching for part time employment. I don't mind early or late night visits since our dogs don't have a 9 to 5 schedule. I do have an active social and volunteering schedule but it's flexible enough to accommodate your needs. I have cared for many dogs who need to be crated or who are door dashers and escape artists. I have a calm energy that helps put pets at ease. I'm a fan of high value treats to make the crate a special place. My personal dogs are crate trained but I know that's not for everyone.

“Jani is great! Very reliable and handles my dogs so well on their routine walks. I highly recommend her services.”

“Wren loves her walks with Brianna and waits by the door for in the morning. It’s very comforting to have an animal lover like Brianna to take care of my pup!”

“Devon has been walking my dog for a few months & has always been super reliable & responsive - even in bad weather! Also goes above & beyond while dog sitting.”

“Emma has been a wonderful communicator from the drop! We had a short time frame before I needed help with my doggos so we weren’t able to meet up before walking my difficult children, but she was cool with that and I’m so thankful!! One of my dogs is very bad and I was transparent about that: Emma was up for the challenge and told me she loves my boys!! Super excited to rebook, recommend her highly! :)”

“Stephanie was great with Marvin! Always on time, cheerful, and very easy to schedule with. Communicative about any issues and helpful in caring for my pup like he was her own. Thank you Stephanie!”

About: I am a student at Angelo State, studying Animal Science. I moved to SA from El Paso, TX, where I worked for the El Paso Zoo Clinic for roughly a year. I am also prior Active Duty Army. I have two chiweenies of my own, and love all types of animals, big and small. I am studying to become a Veterinarian, so the more exposure to different temperaments and animals, the better! I am familiar with administering medication, from oral to injections. I am an active person so I’d love to take your big pups on a run! I am excited to work with pups and also get a little bit of income. I am happy to work with an special needs or request you have for your babies!

About: I've had/taken care of dogs my whole life. My husband and I love dogs and have a big yard for them to run around in. We often dogsit for family and friends when they are out of town. We lost our fur baby a couple months ago due to old age and frankly we miss him and the energy he brought to our house. Your furbaby (or babies) would have a whole house to themselves and would have the full attention of a loving couple. We live in a great neighborhood for walks and have several parks nearby. Both my husband and I work full time jobs out of the house, but are never gone more than 8 hours at a time. Our routine with our recent furbaby would be walks and breakfast in the morning before work (around 8ish), a walk/play outside after work (around 4ish) and then a bathroom break outside before bed. On weekends we have more time to spend with your dog(s) We understand that every dog is special and has special needs! We are open to all care routines and any oddities your dog may have (we used to have to hide our trash can from our dog before leaving the house 😅). As long as you provide instructions, we feel confident managing any schedules, medical care, oddities, or routines. Your fur baby will be in a loving household that just misses having dogs around all the time.

“Super responsive! Sent lots of pictures while my kids and I were on vacation, to everybody’s delight! Will totally book again!”

About: vet tech with years of experience providing safe, reliable dog walking, sitting, feeding, and administering medications. I give every dog patient, love, attention, and care. Hi! I’m a former vet tech and experienced animal caregiver with years of hands-on experience providing safe, loving care for pets of all kinds. I currently work full time but I love spending my free time caring for animals offering dog walks, drop-in visits, or overnight sitting before or after work and on weekends. I treat every pet like family, and I know how important it is to find someone you trust. Whether your pet needs medication, extra patience, or just a fun walk and some company, I’m here to help keep them happy and safe when you can’t be there. I have a secure fenced yard and a friendly dog to keep your pet company. I can crate if needed and I also have a spare bedroom for cats or anxious dogs who need quiet space. I always provide a clean, safe environment for every pet.

About: I grew up in a family full of vets, animal enthusiasts, and even zoo staff! I have cared for animals of all shapes and sizes- even raccoons, birds, reptiles, rodents, and of course many cats and dogs! I have a pretty regular schedule each week so it is very easy for me to plan around in order to take care of your furry friends. I have extensive knowledge of pet care and nutrition for my own cats and dog, and I will treat your babies as my own while under my care, ensuring they are happy and healthy at all times! Happy to follow any requests or routines.

About: I have had a cat and dog of my own for 20 years and have been walking neighborhood dogs as well as pet sitting for about that long as well. I am pretty flexible with my schedule and would love to give your fur babies as much love and attention they may need or want while you are working or out of town! I am a photographer so I love documenting my time with them so you can keep updated on how they are doing while you are away. I own my photography studio and make my own schedule which allows me to be as flexible as I like to be available for you and your pups! I have a fenced yard with plenty of grass, a small pool in the summer, and covered back porch which allows freedom for my two pups to fun around in the fresh air as much as they like! My cat is pretty typical - she runs the show! She has full run of the house but loves taking advantage of my upstairs office because that's where all of her food, water, litter box, and hammock are. You can generally find all three of them rotating their time laying up in my front window keeping an eye on the neighborhood!
