About: I’ve been dog sitting for my neighbors since I was in elementary school. I have also owned my own dogs for all of my life. I pride myself on ensuring that every dog I take care of is given above average care. I make sure that they are walked everyday I am taking care of them and also play with them on top of that. I’ve also helped in the process of raising a puppy, which has taught me even more about what dogs require. I don’t have as much experience with cats but I was a cat sitter for my neighbor throughout all of elementary school and middle school (they moved away). I’m a college student so when I’m home for the summer the only things I have are my part time job. This means I’m very openly available to check on the pets, walk them, and play with them. I typically go to the gym every morning, so they’ll be up early and fed early. I will also walk them daily so they’ll get plenty of exercise throughout the day. I provide reliable, attentive care to each pet i care for. In my home, I create a calm, safe environment with plenty of supervision, lots of bathroom trips, playtime, and rest. There are no kids in my house so it is a very comfortable and calm environment. Even when everyone is home, it’s a comfortable and calm space. In a client’s home, I stick closely to the normal schedule so your pet is as comfortable as possible. I’m respectful of your home, keep things clean, and send regular updates with photos so you are confident your pet is being taken good care of. My goal is always to make your pet feel as comfortable and loved as possible while you’re gone.

About: I've been caring for animals of many species my whole life and take their happiness as seriously as any loved one. I offer drop-in visits, dog walks, and short-term house sits for dogs and cats. I'm experienced with medical protocols and some specialized care for senior and special needs animals, including administering medications and more complex routines. I work with well-trained, well-behaved dogs and have extensive experience with all cat personalities, from anxious to senior to special needs. Where I stand out is that I'm a certified Animal Reiki Master and intuitive. I'm deeply attuned to how animals actually feel and what they need. I genuinely enjoy being present with them and creating a calm, trusting space. I'm an avid walker who loves taking dogs out and exploring together, and I'm an expert at cat play behavior. My own cat needs vigorous morning play to stay balanced, so I get it. I’ll follow your protocols exactly and you'll get updates so you know your pet is thriving and cared for. Your pets are truly remarkable little beings and they deserve all the love and respect they can get. Drop-in visits and walks are available Saturday through Tuesday. For overnights and short-term house sits, I maintain limited availability Friday through Monday, taking on one booking per week. I work part time with my own small business, which is why I'm selective about my schedule. This allows me to provide the quality care and attention your pet deserves. When I'm at your home, I follow your pet's daily routine and schedule as closely as possible. I respect your space completely and leave no trace once I've gone. I'm attentive to your pet's emotional and physical state, so I notice if something feels off and I'll communicate with you about it. I provide regular updates so you know exactly how your pet is doing while you're away. I follow your instructions precisely and care for your home and your animals with the same respect I give my own.

About: I’ve trained and raised by puppy for 3 years, so I am proficient in caring for, and understanding dogs behaviors. I communicate with owners very well, and I am flexible! I work a hybrid work schedule so I am available on Mondays and Fridays. Sometimes I am available on the weekends but I’ll need some days in advance for weekend bookings. I have 3 year old Lab/Great Pyrenees mix! I take her out 6-7 times a day into our yard and walk her around our block. We have a walkable neighborhood so I love to take the pups around the block!!

About: Hello STL pet parents! I am new to Rover but I've taken care of all ages, sizes, and various breeds of dogs since I was young, ranging from Chihuahuas to 110 lb Bouviers. My husband (former dog trainer) and I are the proud dog parents of two friendly rescue chihuahua mixes and we take them everywhere with us when we can and consider them to be our family. We have also had the privilege of caring for a rescue pittie who was skittish around other dogs at first, and a pug lab mix who never met a stranger. I nursed one of my current rescues through heartworm treatment after first adopting her and saw our pug lab mix through chemo when she was diagnosed with lymphoma. I take the care and love of dogs very seriously and believe we owe them the utmost respect. It would be my honor to apply that same philosophy of care and compassion (and fun!) with your beloved family member. I can be available any day of the week, though I prefer notice for weekends. Overall however I can be flexible! If the service is a walk I would prefer that to take place before 6:30 p.m. My yard is fenced in with a privacy fence and if I let dogs into the yard I am always out there with them the entire time. I have two small dogs who are friendly and enjoy gentle playing with others. I'm also comfortable visiting in your home or taking your doggo out on an adventure.

About: I am the daughter of a veterinary technician and have lived with, fed, cuddled, and played with many different cats and dogs that my mom would bring home. Pets of all kinds, have always been a part of my family and I would love to be a part of yours when you need to get away! I work from home so my schedule is flexiblle, accomodating mornings and evenings, which is perfect to tuck your little one in or feed them breakfast. About: I have been taking care of my own animals my whole life, and have sat for other people on numerous occasions. I have also assisted with much of the care and feeding of a dog and several cats over the years. I live in South St. Louis City, and I can only really work there or in areas near there, but if you live close to me you will never be without the help you need. I can stay in your house if you'd like me to, but I can't keep other people's pets in my house because I have a very nervous and shy cat who would be made uncomfortable by this and a crazy dog who might scare your pets. I repeat: I can stay in your house or I can just pop in and out to take care of your pets, but I cannot have outside animals stay in my home. I also walk dogs. The rates for that might be a little bit different, but I assure you they will still be affordable. I have to say though that I cannot walk for an extended period in thunderstorms or freezing/icey temperatures. That's for my safety as well as your dog's. I will be your pet's new best friend and your asset when you are in a pinch or are going somewhere and can't take care of them. I have loved animals since I was a child, and I rarely find one with which I don't get along. I don't have a job which will take me out of town frequently, so I can provide my services as long as they are needed. I look forward to meeting you and your adorable animal friends! I have availability on weekdays as well as weekends Message me and we can talk about scheduling a time for me to walk your dog I will make sure the animal gets whatever care they need I am not a vet though, so if your animal is sickly and/or old then I don't know how well I can care for them
