Patient, loving carer of all pets!
I have taken care of my childhood dog (now 18 years old) since I was a kid! I have watched friends’ and family’s pets for 5 years now. My father also has a puppy (who is a tri-pod!) who I helped him welcome home and train when he was adopted. My love for older dogs and pets with physical differences sets me apart as a dedicated, patient pet caregiver. I love long walks and am willing to go the extra mile for your pet!

I am a very active person and would love to run, walk, or play with your pet! For less active pets, I am happy to play indoors, snuggle, or hang out during visits. I am willing to learn any special routines or needs for your pet, as I believe every animal should be given a life that meets its own abilities and comfort.

Sheldyn is so great with our puppy and has been really flexible in spending time with her however she needs - a walk, playing inside and outside, feeding her, etc. We feel so much better her leaving her for work knowing that she will get an enriching, loving visit from Sheldyn in the middle of the day! She keeps us informed, asks questions when needed, and sends lots of pictures 😍
Sheldyn was an amazing dog sitter, and we would highly recommend her! Before watching our dogs, she took the time to meet with them and really understand their personalities, routines, and the care they needed. She was incredibly flexible with their schedules and treated both of our dogs with so much care and attention. We loved receiving regular updates about how they were doing, and she was always quick to let us know if she noticed anything that might be a concern. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about our dogs, which made us feel completely at ease knowing they were in good hands. Best of all, our dogs were always excited to see her and ready to play whenever she arrived! Sheldyn is kind, dependable, animal-friendly, and someone we would absolutely trust with our dogs again. 🐾❤️

Sheldyn was very respectful, listened well and responded to all my questions and concerns about taking care of my elderly dog with special needs. Sheldyn fulfilled all my expectations and in several cases exceeded them. She really cares about our little furry loved ones! Will definitely call her again when my dog needs any special attention!
Sheldyn is a genuinely caring, kind person with a sweet, gentle personality and pets seem to sense this about her from the get-go - they are at ease with her and just love her! She is trust-worthy, punctual, provides great daily updates, and always goes above and beyond what is expected. She is very patient with our elderly dog Tizzie, giving her lots of extra attention and snuggles, and we always arrive home to a happy "puppy" and a spotless house. Tizzie is always so excited to see Shedlyn arrive and looks for her still after we return home. Sheldyn gives us total peace of mind that our dog is in excellent hands while we are away and we can't recommend her highly enough!

Schedule
I have a very open daytime schedule, and can easily take pets on walks or stop by for check-ins during the daytime. My other job has odd hours, but it leaves the rest of my schedule flexible and open!

- Please let me know your pet’s comfortability around other animals and people so I can be aware on walks or when outside. I never want your pet to be in a situation where they are afraid or nervous around another person or animal!
