“I could tell Ruby enjoyed her time with Laura and her family! Laura was great with communication and sending photos and videos. Will definitely book with her again!”

“Sarah opened her home to my girls and made them comfortable. They usually go to their granny's but all were going on this trip, so it was a very big deal for them to stay elsewhere. They played, walked, rested, and probably were questioning coming home, they were given so much attention. Sarah shared photos and even with a snowstorm ensured they were safe and had fun. I was very pleased. We will call upon sarah again!”

“Loved all the pictures and updates Jennifer sent to me during my trip. My kitten is newly adopted and I was nervous leaving her but Jennifer made me feel so much better. It was a very positive experience!”

“She was amazing, sweet, & great with Marley! She made sure to walk Marley everyday which is his favorite thing to do & she also made sure she walked him before it got too hot which I really appreciate! 10/10 would recommend her to anyone!”

“Jackie and Enoch were great with Mia! Mia had a blast with their pup, with plenty of space to run around and a cozy home to rest after all the fun. They provided plenty of pictures/updates and we're always quick to respond. We would happily have them watch Mia again!!”

“Great service! My dog Pompeii was well taken care of. He had loads of fun and was very active while being taken care of while I was out of town for my daughter's wedding. Great communication along with photo updates during his stay. Highly recommended!”

“First time having our dog stay with Adolfo and she was well taken care of with the love and attention she needed. Will definitely be using his services again!”

“We needed a sitter for 6 days on short notice and Damica was quick to accommodate. She sent daily photos and updates which we really appreciated. The dogs seemed happy in the videos. Thanks!”

“Lucy was fantastic with Koda! He's a high-energy adolescent shepherd mix, so I'm always grateful when I find someone who really understands dogs and is thoughtful about introductions, play, and group dynamics. She sent updates and videos throughout the weekend, which I appreciated so much, and it was clear that Koda was having an absolute blast. He came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. As a dog sitter myself, I can be a little picky about who I leave my dog with, and I would not hesitate to book with Lucy again. Highly recommend!”

“Nicole and Tim were great sitters! They were flexible, very quick to respond, and their home was very clean. They took great care of Quinn and I know she had a great time with them.”

“Elizabeth was wonderful with our dog, Max. He is a senior dog with some health issues and she did a great job looking after him. Elizabeth was very responsive to our texts whenever we asked for updates and she sent us notes and pictures of Max regularly. We look forward to booking with her again!”

About: As a High School Science Teacher and a dedicated father, I bring a level of care to pet sitting that is grounded in responsibility, observation, and routine. I understand that your pets are family, and they deserve a sitter who is as invested in their well-being as you are. I live in a quiet South City home (63111) featuring a fully fenced-in backyard. This offers your pups a secure, private environment where they can run, play, and explore safely—a rare find in many parts of the city! While I am currently a "cat dad" to my 8-year-old resident cat, I have been a lifelong dog owner. From my earliest childhood memories until earlier this year, dogs have always been a central part of my home and heart. This lifelong experience means I am deeply familiar with canine behavior, exercise needs, and the unique companionship they provide. I am an expert at managed, slow introductions to ensure that my senior cat and your pups coexist peacefully and safely. Daily Care: As a high school science teacher, I am currently on summer break and have transitioned into "full-time pet care" mode! My schedule is wide open from late May through mid-August, meaning I am home throughout the day to provide frequent potty breaks, backyard playtime, and plenty of companionship. Weekly Availability: I offer a rotating schedule for boarding. My calendar is always kept up-to-date, so you can easily see which days I am open for overnight stays or daycare only. Consistency: Because I am not balancing an office job during the summer, I can strictly adhere to whatever feeding, medication, or exercise schedule your pet requires. I pay close attention to details—from a dog’s body language and energy levels to their specific feeding and medication schedules. My goal is to create a predictable, low-stress environment where your pet feels like a member of the family. I have a fully (6 foot tall) fenced-in backyard where dogs can play safely. I always supervise yard time to ensure no "great escapes" or unwanted digging. I also always clean up after bathroom breaks in my yard. I use baby gates and separate "safe zones" to ensure my cat and your pups coexist peacefully. I worked for a vet clinic many years ago but still remember some emergency techniques. I can send daily photos and keep your vet's information at hand. It's also good for me to know more about your pet as in: Does your pet have any "triggers" (squirrels, mailmen, other dogs)? Are there any "off-limits" pieces of furniture or rooms? What is their favorite way to be comforted if they get homesick? Etc.
“Ben has watched our 12 lb rescue chihuahua mix 3 times now, and we already have the 4th scheduled. His communication is great, he send photos throughout the stay, and Lana seems to love it there.”

“Reba was absolutely amazing! She watched our 1 year old corgi overnight at her house and he had a blast. She sent plenty of pictures and videos and our pup got so much love, play time, and cuddles. It was over 100 degrees when Archie stayed with Reba and we really appreciated how cautious she was about the dogs being in the heat for too long and made sure they were cooled off and hydrated. We will absolute be booking with Reba again and I know Archie can’t wait!”

“Sarah was AWESOME. We were gone for 9 nights. She sent pictures every day. I swear, my one dog Marla was smiling in them. She boarded one other dog while mine were there, and they looked like they were having the time of their lives! They slept for 3 days after they got home. They were exhausted but in a good way. I will definitely ask Sarah to keep my fur babies again in the future. Thanks Sarah!”

“Madeline was an amazing sitter! She took such good care of my fur baby! She provided many updates a day and also took my dog out for walks. Would highly recommend.”

“Mandy was fantastic to work with! She communicated daily with pictures and videos updating me on how my goldendoodle was adjusting while staying with her. She cared for Lucy like she was her own. I felt at ease while on vacation knowing Lucy was in great hands. Thanks again Mandy 💕”

Holly Hills dog parents share their Rover experiences
Christine & David are absolutely awesome! We had to find a Rover sitter at the last minute for a two-week stay after another sitter canceled. We’re extremely selective about who watches our dog, but from the very first meet-and-greet, we knew they were our people. From that point on, if Christine & David are available, they’re always our first choice for Goose. In fact, they’ve already watched him again for another extended weekend. Throughout the stay, we received multiple videos and photos of Goose cuddled up on their couch, playing in their beautiful yard, and clearly having a great time. We always felt confident that he was being exceptionally well cared for. We truly mean it when we say they are the best!!!

Our pup Sticks always has a fantastic stay with Walter and Maddie and their dogs! They are super sweet and accommodating, and were just recently able to host our pup on pretty short notice which we appreciated. They send regular updates and I have 100% confidence that our dog is being taken care of as well as he would be at home. Thanks again you two!

Sarah was terrific! My puppy had a wonderful time staying with her and her doggy (and another canine boarder). She was very communicative and sent photos and updates each day. She made pick up and drop off a breeze as well. I'd certainly book Sarah again for future stays!
