Compassionate in-home pet care!
Hello! My name is Jacki (she/her) and I have had dogs and cats in my life since as long as I can remember. As soon as I moved out on my own I adopted my first dog, and for the past 25 years have had a combination of dogs and cats living with me and my family. We currently have one 5 year old husky, 3 cats, a snake and 4 rescue mustangs! (They live at a boarding facility - although I wish we were somewhere all together :) We have been fostering with the apa for years and have experience with very young puppies (8 weeks) to taking care of senior friends. I am certified as a trauma-informed equine trainer which applies to all species- dogs, cats and humans! I am also a level 2 Reiki practitioner and and level 1 Let Animals Lead ™️ Reiki practitioner and take separate bookings for Reiki services while your pet stays with us. Please just ask when inquiring about booking and I am happy to share details. I also worked as a vet tech as a teenager and am extremely comfortable administering medications. I am an artist and work from home every day, so outside of me running errands, visiting our horses or going out with the kids for a few hours, we are generally always home. Our house backs up to tower grove park and we love spending time there. If your pup stays with us, he/she will get to go for walks with us - if that’s something you’re comfortable with. Otherwise we have a fully fenced yard for them to play in. Looking forward to hearing from you and seeing if our home is the right fit for your beloved furry family member. *^MUST be good with cats and kids** if you are unsure, unfortunately we are not willing to take chance and are not a good house for your pup. Our dog had a great time staying with Jacki and enjoyed her large backyard and her dog roommate, Fae. Jacki helped us set up a meet and greet and was very responsive to messages. We would certainly rebook with Jacki in the future!

Harmonogram
I’m home every day, so there would never be a reason that your pet is left alone for long extended periods of time. The longest would be 4 hours on the couple of days I head out to visit the boarding facility my horse is at, or if we are spending some family time out in nature.

I have a fully fenced yard with privacy fence all the way around. We have a husky for your dog to play with and am happy to have you bring a crate if you prefer

Typowy dzień
A typical day would include a walk in tower grove park after getting the kids off to school. After that the dogs have free choice to play inside or in our back yard. In the summer we put a kiddie pool outside so they can play and stay cool!
