About: I have fed, cuddled, and played with many different cats and dogs that we had from childhood until now. Pets of all kinds, have always been a part of my family and I would love to be a part of yours when you need to get away! I work from home so my schedule is flexible, accomodating mornings and evenings, which is perfect to tuck your little one in or feed them breakfast. About: I've spent much of my life living with and caring for dogs--from growing up with dogs throughout childhood, to helping care for dogs as an adult, to having Spencer, my most recent dog. I don't currently have pets of my own, which means visiting dogs get my full attention and don't have to adjust to unfamiliar resident animals. I genuinely miss having a dog around! I work from home and love the idea of giving someone's dog a cozy, low-stress place to stay while their humans are away. I intentionally accept dogs from only one household at a time, so I'm able to get to know their routine, personality, and quirks and make sure they get lots of individual attention. I have a dog door that suits a large dog and a fenced-in backyard in beautiful Southwest Garden, across from The Hill. I'm comfortable following detailed feeding and medication instructions and am happy to care for senior dogs. I'm currently focusing on friendly, reliably housetrained adult small and medium dogs that I can comfortably handle on leash. I prefer a meet-and-greet before a first stay so that both the dog and I can ensure we're comfortable together. And I love sending photos and updates! Getting pictures of Spencer when I traveled always made me happy, so I'm delighted to do the same for you. I work from home Monday through Friday from 9am-6pm, so I’m home much of the day and can easily fit walks, playtime, meals, potty breaks, and plenty of attention into my routine. I live on a quiet, tree-lined street with sidewalks and no through traffic, just ten houses from Sublette Park. I love walking the perimeter of the park, so dogs who enjoy walks will have plenty of opportunities to get out and "sniff the puppy newspaper." I’m happy to take dogs for several walks a day depending on their normal routine and energy level. I do leave the house for errands and activities, so dogs should be comfortable relaxing at home alone for a few hours at a time. I have a quiet, dog-friendly home with no resident pets, and I only host dogs from one household at a time. I have a large, fully fenced privacy backyard for supervised play and potty breaks, plus a dog door that can be closed and locked when needed. Dogs are welcome to relax on my large couch, which is always covered with waterproof pet blankets. At night, dogs can sleep in their own crate in my downstairs den, on the couch, or--if they’re well behaved without a crate--on a dog bed in my bedroom. I don’t provide a crate, so owners should bring one if their dog needs it. I prefer to meet new dogs before their first stay so I can learn their routine and make sure I can handle them comfortably and safely. I’m currently best suited for friendly, reliably housetrained adult dogs who aren’t strong pullers, destructive chewers, or determined escape artists.

“Isa took such great care of our puppy! This was my first time using Rover and leaving my puppy with a sitter instead of a doggy daycare. Isa answered all of my questions about the process and gave me the chance to come meet her first. She was also very flexible as I had to book it sort of last minute and didn't have an exact time of when we would be picking up our puppy. Also our puppy was still finishing recovery from a recent surgery, and Isa was very understanding of this and made sure he got enough Rex. About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. In high school, I was the one people called to watch their pets when out of town. At 18, I got my first non family dog and self trained her for the AKC good citizen test. At that point I became the friend everyone called to help train their dogs. I have fostered bottle babies all the way to senior animals with complex medical needs. I also have experience working with reactive and fearful dogs. I am also experienced in dispensing medication. My current dog has a spinal condition and gets medication twice daily. My soul dog was in palliative care for the last five months of her life and I learned a lot about basic canine first aid. My current dog has traveled with me extensively. He’s been to 13 states and roadtrips with me through Mexico. I think there is a care plan for every animal. I look forward to treating your pet like they are part of the family. I work full time from home, but have a very flexible daytime schedule. I am able to take breaks as often as needed with no issue. I currently walk my dog at 5am and 10pm to avoid daytime heat and give him bathroom breaks every 2-4 hours. I learned a long time ago that routine is best for most pets. My dog does for two 45 minute walks a day, and meals twice a day. When hosting another pup, your pups schedule will be continued. Even if it’s different from my dogs. They will be fed and crated separately. If your dog is less social I have plenty of space to keep the pups separate, if needed. When dog sitting in your home, my dog will head to do board and train lessons or stay with a friend. My routine will shift to match what your dog is used to.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I only recently, in the past couple of years, started taking care of other people’s pups, and I really enjoy it. I treat all pups as if they were my own. I am retired. I play pickleball quite a bit, but I am never gone more than a few hours at a time. My husband works from home, so there is almost always someone around to accompany your pup. My favorite part of the job is showering pups with love. We have mattresses on the floor and if the pups are willing, we love to snuggle with them. I typically walk them 4 to 6 times a day, depending on the wants/needs of the pup and the weather. I will be sure to check in multiple times daily with you and send photos and videos. About: I’ve always loved dogs, whether they were mine or those of friends. I’ve had dogs for many years, and they have been my best buddies! I adopted Stanley last September from Have a Heart Rescue. Stanley is very playful and loves to play with other dogs. He is only 17 pounds and full of energy and loads of love. He enjoys “walking” other dogs if he can get ahold of their leashes and loves to do zoomies in the yard and play tag with other dogs. As he is a small pup, I would prefer to only watch dogs up to 40 pounds and must be socialized with other dogs and people. As I am retired now, I would love to start dog sitting in my home and would be open to doggy daycare. I am rarely away from the house for more than two hours at a time. I have a fully fenced in yard with plenty of room to play. Dogs have always been allowed on the chairs, sofas and on the bed. Who wants to sleep on the floor? I have been unofficially dog sitting for almost 40 years, and have recently started dog sitting for pay. I believe it is a good idea for the dogs and owners to have a meet-and-greet as it’s a great way to make sure we’re all a good fit and gives us the opportunity to meet and talk about our expectations. About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life! I love dogs in all sizes and have the most experience with chihuahuas from puppies to much older puppies. I love going for walks and going places with doggies but I’m also not opposed to a leisurely stroll or hanging out on the couch! Currently I am waiting to start my full time position so I have lots of availability and can start immediately! I am doing this because I love animals and I need a little extra cash to get me by! About: I have been taking care of my own animals my whole life, and have sat for other people on numerous occasions. I have also assisted with much of the care and feeding of a dog and several cats over the years. I live in South St. Louis City, and I can only really work there or in areas near there, but if you live close to me you will never be without the help you need. I can stay in your house if you'd like me to, but I can't keep other people's pets in my house because I have a very nervous and shy cat who would be made uncomfortable by this and a crazy dog who might scare your pets. I repeat: I can stay in your house or I can just pop in and out to take care of your pets, but I cannot have outside animals stay in my home. I also walk dogs. The rates for that might be a little bit different, but I assure you they will still be affordable. I have to say though that I cannot walk for an extended period in thunderstorms or freezing/icey temperatures. That's for my safety as well as your dog's. I will be your pet's new best friend and your asset when you are in a pinch or are going somewhere and can't take care of them. I have loved animals since I was a child, and I rarely find one with which I don't get along. I don't have a job which will take me out of town frequently, so I can provide my services as long as they are needed. I look forward to meeting you and your adorable animal friends! For overnights and short-term house sits, I maintain limited availability Friday through Monday, taking on one booking per week. I work part time with my own small business, which is why I'm selective about my schedule. This allows me to provide the quality care and attention your pet deserves. When I'm at your home, I follow your pet's daily routine and schedule as closely as possible. I respect your space completely and leave no trace once I've gone. I'm attentive to your pet's emotional and physical state, so I notice if something feels off and I'll communicate with you about it. I provide regular updates so you know exactly how your pet is doing while you're away. I follow your instructions precisely and care for your home and your animals with the same respect I give my own.
About: I love dogs and cats and have some extra time so I couldn’t think of a better way to fill it. I have previous experience working as a dog walker. About: ***Constant care pets will be an extra fee*** Constant care is care in which we cannot leave your pet alone for more than 3 hours. Meet and greets are free unless you need more than one before the stay, then the first meet and greet is free. My expertise is with older dogs, pets with disabilities (such as dementia or seizures), and pets that need medications. I'm also experienced in multi-pet homes where one or more pets are seniors/special needs and other pets are high energy or puppies/kittens. I have experience caring for pets who are recovering from operations as well. If your pet does need Constant care, we can negotiate a price that works for you. I've always had pets. I have always had cats, dogs, guinnea pigs, or ferrets. I'm versed in many kinds of animals and am happy to care additional small animals if needed. Short notice is ok as long as there are at least 2 days between the time I'm asked and the time of the stay so that there's time for a meet and greet. For repeat customers, I accept even same-day requests. I work 8 hours, 4 days a week. Since we do petsitting together, if there is a need for constant care, one of us will always be present in the home with your pet. Safety is my #1 priority when caring for your pets. I make sure to watch pets attentively on walks and in the yard to ensure maximum safety. My services include grabbing mail and packages, watering plants, giving medications as instructed, daily walks as instructed, basic cleaning up after myself and your pets, daily updates and pictures, and following your regular schedule as closely as possible to ensure as seamless a change as possible while you get to experience a worry-free time away.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and recently adopted a cat. I have extensive experience with multiple pet households. I am currently a law student at WashU so I have a very flexible schedule I am a third year law student at WashU Law. I have a very flexible schedule as I only have a few classes. Your dog will also have plenty of opportunities to enjoy our fenced backyard throughout the day. I live with two other animal lovers, my mom and boyfriend, so there are always multiple people around to keep an eye on your pet, let them outside, and give them extra attention. Because I work from home, I can give your pet plenty of attention throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. I can provide walks, backyard time, playtime, cuddles, and potty breaks throughout the day, and I can easily turn my attention to your pet whenever they need me. My flexible schedule also allows me to accommodate different routines and the individual needs of each pet, as well as work with your schedule when you're arranging drop-off and pick-up times. If your dog loves spending time outside, they'll love our fenced backyard, with plenty of grass to explore, sniff, and roll around in. We live just blocks from Carondelet Park, too, so dogs who enjoy longer walks will have the opportunity to explore the park and get some extra exercise and enrichment. Inside our home, they'll have room to enjoy both the upstairs and downstairs areas and find a comfortable spot to relax. My home office and “Grandma's” living quarters are upstairs, while my boyfriend and I share the downstairs living space. We also have a door that separates the two levels, which allows us to create a separate space for your dog when needed, whether for safety or just to give them some quiet time and a break from our own animals. When introducing a new dog to our pets, we take things gradually and don't expect everyone to become instant best friends. We allow them to get comfortable with each other's presence, supervise their interactions, and give them separate spaces whenever needed. Every dog has a different personality and comfort level, so we let their behavior guide the pace rather than forcing interaction. I always want pets in my care to have a safe, comfortable environment where they can relax and be themselves while their people are away.
About: In addition to dog sitting and cat sitting for my family and friends, I have experience with taking care of birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, and even fish. I’m here to have a relaxing day staying in or going for a run or walk to enjoy the sunshine. We can go for a game of tug of war in the yard! On the weekends (saturday & sunday), I have the most time and can dedicate the whole day to your furbaby. On the weekdays, after 4pm I can dedicate my time to enriching and providing pet care. I have a fenced in back yard, both my neighbors have dogs but we are respectful and understanding of each furbaby’s personality and try to make necessary boundaries. Dogs are allowed on the furniture. I have teo large crates if time alone is needed.
