From the initial meeting until we walked back in the door from vacation, I felt at ease and confident that my pups were in the best hands. We got check-ins and photos every day and even our anxious little crusty white dog made strides to becoming more confident with Rachel’s patient and gentle presence. This is our first time hiring a pet sitter and Rachel will 100% be our go to from here on out. It was such a weight lifted off our shoulders to know they were being loved on and very well taken care of so we could truly relax and enjoy our time away.”

About: Hi! I’m Erin, and I’m currently accepting new pet sitting clients in the St. Louis area. I work at Saint Louis University and also work part-time as a caregiver, so being dependable, responsible, and communicative is a huge part of my everyday life. I’m a lifelong dog owner and currently have a Lab mix of my own, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I offer drop-in visits, dog walking, feeding, potty breaks, medication administration (oral medications), playtime, and overnight pet sitting. I provide regular photo and text updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. Unfortunately, I’m allergic to cats, so I’m only accepting dog and other non-cat household pet clients at this time. “Cara was amazing with our 2 jack russel terriers while we were on vacation for a week. She sent pictures and videos daily which we adored. Our younger, newer dog warmed up to her quickly. She played ball with pur older dog. Good communication, reliable and helped us relax by not having to worry about the dogs while on vacation since we knew they were with someone who cared. She asked very specific questions about his routine and wanted to ensure he was as comfortable as possible. During her stay she was very interactive with Percy. Took him on outings and walks and made sure he had plenty of play time and attention. On a night of a storm she let Percy sleep in bed with her to help comfort him!! Any concerns she had she messaged me immediately. She was great about sending updates and pictures to make sure I felt he was in good hands which definitely decreased my worries. Latasha treated my home with respect and left my home just as she found it. She even helped me with my newly planted garden to ensure it stayed watered while I was away.
