She sent pictures of our cats to us everyday on vacation and was super responsive on her phone when we wanted to see our pets. It was such a relief knowing that she was here with them. One of the things I appreciated the most was that when we got here it was as clean as when we left it. She took all the notes and she performed the tasks laid out to her exactly like we did with the cats. She also helped keep them on their schedule by following their feeding times. Latasha played with them which is honestly more than I do sometimes. They may have gotten a little spoiled with all the attention lol. Each day she would send images but she'd also send a little story or observation of the cat. That was nice because it helped us to know that they were acting in their usual ways and not sad that we were gone and missed us. I would 1000% book Latasha again. If you've never had a cat sitter (we hadn't) she will answer all your questions and really set your nerves at ease.”

I’m a PhD student who has called St. Louis home for the past five years, and I’m currently in the final stages of writing my dissertation. The good news for your pets? I work from home, so I have plenty of time for walks, belly rubs, playtime, and keeping your furry friends company while you’re away! I am located in The Grove with access to a dog park at my apartment complex as well as walking distance to both Forest Park & Tower Grove Park for pups that enjoy long walks. One of my dogs loves people and dislikes other dogs, while the other one enjoys dogs and is wary of people so I have experience with a variety of dog personalities and their differing needs. Whether your pet is a professional cuddler, an energetic adventurer, or simply here for the treats, I’d love to spoil them ◡̈ Since I work from home while finishing my PhD dissertation, pet care fits pretty naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to take plenty of breaks throughout the day for walks, playtime, and potty breaks. 🐾 My schedule is much more “read a paper, take a dog for a walk, write a paragraph, give belly rubs” than a traditional 9-to-5. I can easily adapt to the schedule of your pup! I’m happy to build pet care into my day and give your pets plenty of attention rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. About: I’ve had animals all my life from seniors to littler of puppies. I’ve been to classes to teach and have taken care of multiple pets through hospice. I’ve raised a hand full of litters and pride myself on a loving and fun home for my animals! I can fit almost any Animal within my schedule and around my other small pup! We go on frequent walks and have play time throughout the day. I have a large fenced yard where pets can safely play, exercise, and enjoy some outdoor time. I provide fresh water, supervision, and a safe, comfortable environment. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s usual routine and care instructions.

About: I have a 8 year old Yorkie myself that suffers from joint pain. I have had him since he was born. I understand the importance of delicate care when it comes to taking care of pets including senior pets. What sets me apart is that I’m patient, dependable, and genuine when caring for pets. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable and safe. I’m comfortable caring for younger pets who need extra attention, as well as senior pets who may need a slower pace, medication reminders, or additional care. I’m also responsible about following feeding schedules, routines, and special instructions from owners. I am currently working part time with a flexible schedule. I have plenty availability to care for pets, do drop ins and dog walks when needed. I have a friendly male yorkie that is great company for other dogs. I don’t have a fenced yard however I keep dogs leashed and crated when needed. I have a full sized car available for outings. I clean up well behind myself & respect other peoples space & boundaries. I follow any rules & regulations put in place for the good of the pet & integrity of myself.

About: I love playing with cats and dogs to make sure they get the attention they deserve i will do do anything extra to help the owner like take out trash ect. Almost everyday when I'm not busy i make sure i take my feed my cats ol L Play with them using their toys and give lots of pets I make sure they are fed well i take them for walks if something is wrong i will contact the owner and i make sure they are safe.

“Colleen stood out immediately from other caregivers because of her focus on details and learning everything necessary to provide the best care for our dogs during her pre stay visit. She asked many thorough questions and took faithful notes about our pups many needed medications, special diet, health conditions and outdoor routines. We could tell how important it was to her that our dogs receive the right amount of attention and the least possible disruption during our absence. Because our dogs are seniors and may react if left alone for too long, she cheerfully arranged her schedule to stay throughout the day and overnight. Colleen also asked about our home, any expected visitors, watering of plants, how we wanted the mail and packages handled, along with any areas the pups were not allowed. She made sure she had our vet's information, along with a nearby neighbor she could call if needed. Colleen also sent many pictures and videos so we could see for ourselves that they were having a good time and in good hands. Her professionalism gave us the confidence and comfort level to enjoy our time away from home. As a welcome bonus, linens were washed, dried and dishwasher had been run. If any of these things are important to you then we would strongly recommend you consider hiring Colleen.”
