“Latasha was wonderful! From the beginning she came for a meet and greet and got down on the floor with my Percy! She asked very specific questions about his routine and wanted to ensure he was as comfortable as possible. During her stay she was very interactive with Percy. Took him on outings and walks and made sure he had plenty of play time and attention. On a night of a storm she let Percy sleep in bed with her to help comfort him!! Any concerns she had she messaged me immediately. She was great about sending updates and pictures to make sure I felt he was in good hands which definitely decreased my worries. Latasha treated my home with respect and left my home just as she found it. She even helped me with my newly planted garden to ensure it stayed watered while I was away. About: I’ve loved caring for animals for as long as I can remember. I started helping take care of my family dog at age seven, and over the years my experience has grown to include a wide variety of pets, from chickens and tortoises to rabbits. Each has taught me something different about patience, attentiveness, and individualized care. What sets me apart is the combination of this lifelong, hands-on experience and my medical training. I’m very attentive to subtle changes in behavior, appetite, or energy, and I understand how important it is to follow care instructions closely. I also have experience caring for senior pets. I had a cat who lived to 20+, so I understand the extra patience, gentleness, and consistency older animals need. Whether your pet is young and energetic or requires a slower, more thoughtful approach, I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times! I’m currently in my fourth year of medical school and have completed my core clinical rotations, which gives me a lot of flexibility and free time. “We usually don’t write reviews for anything, but Mary's exceptional caretaking skills prompted us to take the time to sing her praises. If you’re a detail oriented pet parent who can’t imagine someone would be able to take as great care of your pets as yourself–or your family–this review is for you. We were nervous as this was our first time having someone we’d never met to live in our home and take care of our pets for 10 days while we were out of the country. Mary instantly put every single one of our worries to rest. Mary was able to follow a very detailed daily regimen for our senior (15 year old) German Shepherd & our 2 cats. She let our dog out several times during the day to minimize the risk of any indoor accidents. She stuck to a 3x daily medication schedule, and she gave the pets plenty of love throughout the process. In sticking to our pets daily schedule, she essentially stepped in as an extension of our own caretaking which allowed our pets to feel very comfortable in our absence. Communication was 10/10! She provided daily of updates with pictures and never hesitated to ask a question if something unexpected came up. She also left our home clean and in great shape! I work full-time, Monday through Friday, with a flexible schedule, I'm just 5 minutes from home so I can take my lunch break to give your fur baby a potty break. Perfectly! I do work full - time, with a very flexible schedule I'm just 5 minutes from home so if I need to leave to take you fur baby out for a walk or potty break that will not be an issue. I have a fenced yard for your fur baby to run and play around in or I can easily crate your fur baby if needed.
