I am not able to keep pets in my own home. I have my own two dogs and a cat who claims his own space.
Information Karah G. would like to know about your pet
It’s always important of a sitter to know any nervous behaviors. When pets and their parents are separated, for the first time or the fiftieth, there is always some stress the critter goes through. Are they diggers in the yard? Do they like to shred bedding, toys, carpet? Are they a counter surfer, like my Beni? Knowing about these behaviors will help me understand what to look out for and how to help keep your critters comfortable.
A typical day
A daily routine is always set by the pet parents requirements. My own typical day begins with letting the dogs out, making a coffee while I snuggle with my cat. Then once the pups have gotten their breakfast we go for a walk. I find it important to get some energy out early in the morning. Midday typically involves some dog training. It’s my understanding that training and focused activities use up much more energy and brain power than only the physical activities. Once the weather breaks (heat, cold, rain, etc) the pups and I go out again, this time for a longer period. In the evenings, we’re always out in the yard, enjoying the fireflies or crunching a bunch of leaves.

Pet care experience
Hi! Thanks for looking at my profile. I’m Karah. I first began pet/house sitting when I was living in Ecuador in 2012. I am well practiced with dogs of all sizes, cats of many temperaments, and critters ranging from fishes to bearded dragons.

Reviews

Karah was great! This was a last-minute trip, and I was concerned about leaving the pup behind with a new person, but she made me feel comfortable immediately. She came the same day for a meet and greet, and I knew her and Oslo would get along swimmingly. She kept me up-to-date with his walks and how he was doing, and I believe her being at my home really helped him take to her quickly. I will definitely use Karah again, and if you are looking for a sitter, I'd recommend her to anyone.
Karah was very responsive and took good care of my two dogs. One is a senior with special needs. She was on time and sent picture updates. I would recommend her for overnight sitting.
Karah is very responsible, patient, and conscientious. She cares deeply for the pets that she takes care of and treats them as the cherished family members that they are. I would recommend Karah to anyone who wants peace of mind while they are away from their pets.
