About: Cooper and I love all animals. I’ve had dogs for 20+ years and have had multiple years of experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I promise your furry friend will be in good hands! I work full time, but can let dogs out during my lunch hour and can take care of dogs after 5 pm during the work week. On the weekends, we are fully able to take care of dogs throughout the day. We live in an apartment complex but have close access to the trail and an open dog park. I have a corgi; but can crate if needed. Your dogs safety is my first concern. Whatever you need, we can adapt!

“Isabel was absolutely fantastic with our six-month-old puppy, Oliver! This was our first time leaving him with someone new, and our original sitter fell through at the last minute. I reached out to Isabel on Rover just two days before we needed someone, and she responded within about 20 minutes and was able to help us out. From the very beginning, Isabel made us feel completely at ease. We FaceTimed beforehand, and she asked incredibly thoughtful questions—especially since Oliver is still a puppy and in the middle of training. She asked what commands we use, exactly how we say them, what his routine looks like around meals, and other questions I honestly wouldn’t have even thought to bring up with a sitter. When she came over, she let us know as soon as she arrived and afterward sent a detailed update with photos. She told us when she fed Oliver, what games they played, how he behaved, and even shared thoughtful observations about his personality. I really appreciated how attentive and engaged she was rather than simply stopping by to let him out and feed him. Most importantly, I came away from the experience feeling incredibly confident trusting Isabel with Oliver. You can tell she genuinely cares about the animals she watches and takes the responsibility seriously. All of her amazing reviews make complete sense after experiencing it firsthand. About: I’ve spent pretty much my entire life surrounded by animals. Growing up in Greece, my parents and I regularly took in stray dogs and cats and gave them permanent homes. At our peak, we had four dogs and six cats at the same time, most of whom simply walked into our backyard one day and apparently thought, “Yep, this will do!” They never left. Since moving to Austin five years ago, I’ve been pet sitting for friends and, thanks to word of mouth, friends of friends (and eventually people I had never met, which I take as a good sign). I’ve cared for dogs and cats of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities, and have been trusted with walks, check-ins, feeding, playtime, and overnight stays. I’m very comfortable around animals and fully accept that while you’re away, your pet is the boss and I’m merely the staff. And yes, that’s Anna, our Westie, in my profile picture. She still lives with my parents in Greece, and whenever I FaceTime them, she is required to appear on screen first. My parents have accepted their place in the hierarchy. I’m a graduate student at UT, which gives me a pretty flexible schedule. Even on days when I need to be on campus, I often come home during my lunch break.
 My days usually start around 6 a.m. with a workout and wind down around 10 p.m. with a book in bed, so I’m happy to accommodate both early risers and pets who take their beauty sleep very seriously. Walks, playtime, meals, check-ins, and plenty of attention can easily fit into my daily routine. If your pet loves a routine, I’m your person. I know how much animals rely on familiarity, especially when their humans are away, so I’ll follow their normal feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routines as closely as possible. I’m active and always happy to go for a long neighborhood walk—or, if you live downtown, your dog and I may become regulars on the trail. But I’m equally committed to the important work of doing absolutely nothing. If your pet prefers couch time, they’re welcome to join me while I read. I’ll handle the book; they can handle the naps. Above all, I’ll treat your home and your pet with the same care and respect I’d want someone to show mine, and I’m happy to send plenty of updates and photos while you’re away.
