About: Calm, assertive energy. We’ve fostered and placed several shepherds from the animal shelter into better homes. All of our dogs that my wife wanted led us to a great pet trainer back in 2015. We went to weekly classes and learned to handle our German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois . We focus on the basics and good manners. I am retired working as System Engineering consultant part time. We spend some time in Illinois and some in New Mexico. We have freedom to interact with your pet as needed. We have fenced yard and enclosed porch with pet door. Also have separate 8 ft x 12 ft dog kennel if needed. We have various sized crates if animals need their own space.

“Hossanna was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Azula. From the start, she was so accommodating and kind, and she even met with us for two walks before Azula’s stay, which made a huge difference in helping us feel comfortable. I have very detailed (and sometimes neurotic) instructions when it comes to my dog, and Hossanna never once made me feel bad about that. She was patient, understanding, and clearly cared about doing things right for Azula. She sent us many thoughtful photos throughout the stay, and it was obvious Azula was comfortable, happy, and safe in her care. If she would have us again, I would absolutely book with her, and I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter they can truly trust.”

About: I have officially being taking care of animals here in rover for about 2 years now. It’s definitely a passion of mine to properly take care of other animals and watch over them! Of course I have experience taking care of animals beyond my 2 years here on rover such as taking care of family members pet and also my own pets for my whole life! I’ve naturally grown the knowledge over the years how to properly care for small and large dogs and of course, cats! (I also take pride in taking care of any fish, reptiles, or chickens!) I work a temporary traveling job, which means whatever my available states I’ll be home full time to provide your animals with 24/7 care and supervision! I have experience with scheduled feedings twice a day for dogs, daily feeding for cats, giving fresh water everyday, switching dogs and letting them outside throughout the entire day. I have experience with kennels and lots of experience with dogs that have to stay separated from one another due to dog fights. I also have a good eye in knowing if a dog is friendly or not with others so you can trust me with your pet being around others!
