I live off a simple and disciplined schedule. I'm almost always up before 05:00 with the exception of weekends and the first things I do as part of my morning routine is let the dogs out, meditate, and then take my dog Blitzen for a run.

I have a large backyard that is enclosed by walls. Every pup I house I exercise, as it's important for their mental health (and mine), and it helps them acclimate to a new environment. I've trained multiple dogs and I'm adapted to recognizing and preventing unwanted fights and scenarios of that nature. I care for all pets in the same manner and typically follow leadership strategies recommended by Cesar Milan & Don Sullivan such as implementing rules, boundaries, and limitations as well as showing affection at the appropriate time so as not to encourage nervous and aggressive energy. Dogs have been a large part of my well-being and happiness and I understand that they have specific needs as well. Leadership to me entails leading my own life and practicing personal integrity. Every pup I've met or trained offers new opportunities for patience and learning and I'm happy to accept that challenge.

I like to know their energy level and motivations (food or play). I also find it helpful to know how much and how often they are fed and if they dig or not. It's also helpful to know if the owner usually crates their dogs and of any problems they have run into in the past, whether it be a training issue or an issue their dog has with people or other dogs.
A typical day
I love to bike dogs, it is perhaps my favorite bonding experience. Other than that I like to play fetch and run around with them. My favorite place to take my pups is the gulf course, especially on nights with a full moon. I typically run with my pup every morning as part of my normal ritual/routine.

Personally trained and cared for 30+ dogs. Proud owner of a German Shepherd named Blitzen and I've cared for multiple pets at the same time over the years. I firmly believe exercise is necessary for happy owners and pets alike. Leadership never turns off.
