🗓️ While I work week days, my mornings & afternoons with the dogs are spent playing & exercising. Dogs are crated or separated in my dog room while I’m gone and to sleep at night. I have cameras to monitor everyone so I can make sure they are behaving and calm. Please let me know how you leave your dog at home and if they have any destructive tendencies.

🥰 Your pet's well-being is my top priority, and I'm here to offer all the attention and any additional care they might need. Whether it's extra cuddles, specific feeding routines, or administering medications, I'm dedicated to ensuring your furry family member receives the personalized care that makes their stay comfortable and stress-free. Please note that I will always try my best to send daily photos, but as I get busy, it can sometimes be an every other day situation. If that’s not ok with you, please specify so that I can ensure an stress-free stay for both you & your pup. 🛁🫧💈 I am more than happy to provide bathing/grooming services for stays longer than 3 nights. Please just let me know how your dog does with water & being brushed, blow dried, etc. 🐶 Please note that consistent indoor accidents (for dogs over 1 year) will incur additional charges to my puppy rate. Additionally, I cannot accept a booking if your dog(s) cannot settle quietly at night and while I work. I always recommend having a backup sitter or doing a trial night. Happy to offer a discount on a 24 hour stay if you have a longer stay you’d like to plan for. 🎄🎆 During holidays, my home is buzzing with activity. If your dog thrives on excitement, they're in for a treat. Otherwise, I'm happy to create a calmer space for them to relax. However, if your pet is severely anxious in an active home or around several dogs, it may not be the best environment for your pup. Please let me know how your dog responds to loud noises like fireworks or thunder & how you help them if they are fearful.

Information Emily D. would like to know about your pet
‼️Considerations: While I strive to accommodate all pets, there are instances where I might not be the ideal option for your pet. Since I have cats, I am unable to accept dogs with a history of harming cats. However, I am perfectly comfortable with dogs who have no experience with cats. Additionally, I am unable to take in dogs that have a history of resource guarding in order to ensure the safety of all animals in my home. If your dog has severe anxiety when separated from you and cannot be quietly & safely crated/left alone, or is prone to barking continuously, I am not a good fit. I am ok with dogs that are not crate trained, so long as they have good behavior & can settle in a room without me. Lastly, if your dog potties inside/soils their crate, or cannot independently go potty outside without walks, it may be more suitable for them to find alternative accommodations. ⁉️Information I need to know about your dog(s): 1. How do they behave with other dogs? 2. How do they behave with cats? 3. Do they resource guard food or toys? 4. How do they ask to go potty? 5. Do they have any food sensitivities? 6. Are they crate trained or how do you leave them when you’re away or to sleep at night? 7. Do they have separation anxiety or chew bedding/blankets when unattended? 8. Do they have any triggers or sensitivities? ✅ Packing List: •sealed bag/container of food with scoop (written instructions either with their belongings or on their pet profile please) & any daily supplements/chews just for them •collar and tag (required for safety reasons. If they come without, I have extras) •leash •optional: a blanket if they have one/don’t chew ❎ No need to bring bowls, toys/bones, crates or beds unless requested. Thank you!
A typical day
☀️ A typical day includes a morning potty break and playtime/exercise before a separated meal time and at least an hour rest to digest and prevent bloat. Afternoons typically consist of lots of playing and napping until another meal and rest time. I am often out in the yard supervising and playing fetch. When the weather isn’t the best, I always have frozen lick mats/kongs for dogs to stay entertained. Dogs have numerous opportunities to do their business outside throughout the day, but unfortunately I am unable to provide daily walks.

Pet care experience
🐱🐶Welcome to my Pet Paradise! With two lively dogs and three friendly cats who embrace every new friend, your fur babies are sure to feel right at home! ✨As a passionate pet sitter & dog mom with over 7 years on Rover, I’ve become an expert in dog body language and managing multiple dogs of different temperaments. I always introduce dogs one-on-one and monitor their behavior to ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. I provide an active and structured environment with a predictable routine for dogs to not only have their needs met, but also to feel safe and at ease. I believe in positive reinforcement and always have treats nearby to reward or redirect behavior. I am also able to accommodate dogs that may need to be separated and are ok with coexisting with other dogs behind gates/fences/crates. 🌞⛱️🛋️ My large backyard is the perfect oasis for your dog, whether they enjoy sun bathing, playing, sniffing, or simply taking care of business. There is plenty of room to run, gravel to potty on (currently growing a clover lawn for pups to enjoy soon☘️), and a spacious patio for resting or wrestling in the shade. When it’s time to come in, my living room and large couch offers plenty of space for pups to play, chew bones, or snuggle. The dog door is often open while I’m home for dogs to go in & out as they please, rain or shine! For dogs that prefer their own space, my dog rooms offers a safe space for your dog(s) to relax and graze their food if they choose. 👋🏻 Let's get to know each other! Please fill out your pet's profile before requesting or answer the questions at the end of my profile. From there, we can schedule a meet-and-greet for a perfect match. ✌🏻Looking forward to making your pet's stay a joyful experience! 🐾❤️

Emily was great at communicating and providing updates. Our dog seemed to enjoy her stay with her.

My dog always loves staying with Emily!! She takes such good care of my pets and I love having someone I can trust.

Emily D. Provided exceptional service. With a gated area for my dog to run. Emily was very responsive with texts, and also provided photos while we were out of town. I definitely recommend Emily’s services.
