She lives in a nice neighborhood, she has a secure backyard and Bonnie has a calm demeanor. My dogs often will not eat when I leave them but Bonnie treated them like they were her own dogs and fed them rotisserie chicken and Fresh Pet chicken and rice so this was not a problem. My flight reservation was unexpectedly changed and the dogs had to stay an extra night. Bonnie was very understanding and flexible. I grew up with bulldogs and I’ve personally owned German Shepards and Huskies. I am currently in between jobs and preparing for a certification test for signed language interpreting. I have plenty of free time for pets and love to get out and about like going for walks, hikes and enjoying the sun. I have a private small patio with many dogs parks in my apartment complex. Also close to my apartment is a golf course that is a clear and safe walk for fur babies. I can crate your dog if needed (: they are allowed on furniture to make them feel like home!

I have a large fenced in yard where my great Pyrenees is able to roam freely. About: I have past experience in administering medicine including insulin and pills, as well as cleaning litter boxes, picking up dog poop, and feeding bearded dragons. I'm a college student working at a restaurant, but I am available throughout the day between school and work, and at nights. Overall pet sitting fits into my schedule just as well as any average person. I have a cat in my home who is vaccinated and well cared for, so if a pet is coming to my home it must be OK around cats, my cat is also used to dogs and other animals, although I would prefer to watch animals at their house. I care for them by feeding them according to their schedule, always providing fresh water, and taking them on any necessary walks, or runs, and of course cleaning up the poop or puke that occurs.

“Apollo can be a handful with his anxiety and reactivity, and Bri handled it beautifully. They had a rocky first night, because he kept barking at every small noise. After several hours of this, he had her a bit worried about whether or not she could get him to settle down and sleep. But she stuck with it and got him to calm down and pass out. From there the visit went great. She followed our feeding and medication instructions exactly, worked on some training with him during his stay, and did a nice job with redirecting his attention when he got reactive on walks. Communication was excellent throughout. I received regular photos and updates, and she flagged any concerns as they came up rather than letting them sit. He clearly trusts and adores her, which can be difficult given his anxiety. We'll absolutely be booking with her again!”
“This was my first time leaving my two dogs overnight at a strangers house and I'm so glad it was with Marissa!! She both reassured the dogs, AND she also was reassuring to me - and that helped a lot. She sent me updates and photos and took really good care of my two dogs that were not at all used to staying somewhere other than my house. It felt to me like she got to know each dog personally, not just give them food and shelter for the night... I would certainly book with her again when the need arises!!”
