“We couldn't be happier with the love and care Maellen provided to our little shih tzu 🥰 we received daily updates, pictures, and videos. We will definitely be repeat customers in the future.”

“Becky and her family are wonderful. She sent the most thoughtful updates I've ever received from someone watching our dogs. It really conveyed the level of care and attention Jax and Ivy were receiving.”

“William is evrything I was looking for my fur baby! He is attentive, affectionate and active. His fur babies are joyful and super friendly. He sent a lot of pictures and had many adventures together. I wish I could give him more than 5 stars. Highly recommended!!!”

“Thank you so much, Boo had a lovely time she wasn’t stressed at all when we picked her up . I loved all the update pictures. Really put my mind at ease.”

“Chad provides a safe environment! My dog got along with his dog right away, which doesn’t always happen. The dogs have a great big backyard to play in, they don’t go for walks normally. Mentioning because if you want that you need to talk to Chad to arrange it. Chad agreed not to crate my dog which is good because he hasn’t been in a crate in years, and Max seems in good health when I picked him up, moved pretty good for a senior dog.”

“Holly and Rob were very caring and dedicated to hearing about my little guy. He's an older adopted dog and I was a little worried about leaving him, but they invited us over to visit before our time away from each other and that really cemented the deal. I could see they worked hard to be kind to all the animals and the people who owned them. They sent pictures and comments so I knew he was relaxed in their home. I felt much more relaxed about leaving him if necessary, knowing I have them as a backup.”

“Onrae was great. We left Ansel with him for just over a week and it really let us relax knowing he was in good hands. He sent several updates and pictures and was always quick to respond to messages and questions. He did a great job in trying to keep a good routine for the dog, and it seemed like Ansel loved playing with the kids and having a new environment to explore! Will definitely be looking to call him again in the future for our pet care needs!”

“This is the second time Doug has watched our pups! He is incredibly reliable and flexible. We got stuck in another state for an extra day and he was able to keep them for us. Doug is the best!”

“Mary was excellent, she treated Nico like he was her own I was sent pictures of him watching soccer with her on the couch and relaxing on the outside furniture. He was right at home I will be taking him back to her my next vacation thank you Mary for taking such great care of my Nico”

“Mike is an incredible Rover and I would highly recommend him for any type of dog. Beaux had such a great time and I can’t thank you enough for watching him”

“Jamie and Patrick did an amazing job taking care of my dog, Toby! 🐾 they were kind, reliable, and treated Toby like their own. I could tell he was happy and well cared for while I was away. Jamie kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog sitter — Toby and I are so grateful for their care!”

About: I have watched dogs of all kinds over my lifetime, ranging from a high-energy terrier puppy, a clumsy mastiff, a sweet low maintenance golden retriever, and taken care of my elderly dog most of my life until she passed. I am happy to provide more details and references upon request. I am an online college student with a part time job, so I am available to give a dog my complete attention when I am not working, but can check in on them before and after work though my family will likely be home to keep an eye on them while I am out. My days used to be filled with caring for a sick, elderly dog outside of school and work so I am used to having pet care be a large part of my life. I have a large backyard with a dog run, as well as a generally safe neighborhood for dog walking. Depending on what the dog needs, I am prepared to give a couple hours of play time a day, take them on walks, and make sure they are given the attention they deserve. I will replenish food and water as often as instructed (or as the dog needs), and make sure they get a chance to run around outside for a while each day. If there is any training happening, I am happy to continue it while they are with me. I also have basic supplies to bath and clean up after a dog.
“We were in a bind due to a family emergency which prohibited us from taking the dog, and very apprehensive about the safety and care of our beloved Mowgli. Such gratitude that Cindy stepped in, we were able to meet that day and throughout the trip we received updates showing Mowgli so well cared for. When we got home he was completely contented. Thank you Rover and especially Cindy - you gave us peace of mind at a time when it meant so much.”

“Anne took great care of our dog on an extended stay. She kept in contact with us and sent lots of pictures. He had as much fun on his vacation as we did on ours! We will definitely use her again.”

“My pup had a great time with Josie, her husband and especially their dog Paco. I got daily pictures and updates so that I never had to worry 🥰 Our dog needs daily medicine and they had no problem making sure she got it, they were even able to get around her pill defenses by putting it in cream cheese (a new trick I'm definitely adopting)! I was especially happy to hear how well our dogs got along and that lots of play and tug of war sessions were had 😄 Pepper was treated like family and we'll absolutely rebook next time we have to go away.”

“Elaine was professional, responsive, and detail-oriented. I felt confident leaving our little guy in her care, and she even kept him an extra day when we ran into bad weather.”

“Kate was great! Our last sitter moved out of Albuquerque and Kate was able to watch our Gambit on short notice. She took great care of him and sent pics. Thank you, Kate! 🐾❤️”

Highlands North dog parents share their Rover experiences
My anxious Great Dane did really well in her care. I felt completely comfortable with her watching him just from the meet and greet! She wasn't afraid to gets hands on with redirecting him during moments of reactivity at the park, so I knew she was going to be a great fit for my dog. She followed our "rules" for him and updated us when needed. We will use her again!

Rita is absolutely the best dog sitter around town. She sends morning and evening updates with pictures, and it's my favorite thing to see my babies having a great time while I'm on vacation. I cannot express how much we appreciate Rita, and knowing our girls are being taken care of so well is a great feeling. I definitely recommend her to watch your furry babies, too.
