I am an online college student with a part time job, so I am available to give a dog my complete attention when I am not working, but can check in on them before and after work though my family will likely be home to keep an eye on them while I am out. My days used to be filled with caring for a sick, elderly dog outside of school and work so I am used to having pet care be a large part of my life.

I have a large backyard with a dog run, as well as a generally safe neighborhood for dog walking. Depending on what the dog needs, I am prepared to give a couple hours of play time a day, take them on walks, and make sure they are given the attention they deserve. I will replenish food and water as often as instructed (or as the dog needs), and make sure they get a chance to run around outside for a while each day. If there is any training happening, I am happy to continue it while they are with me. I also have basic supplies to bath and clean up after a dog.

I am happy to accommodate most dogs, just let me know ahead of time if they need any specific medications, they have anxiety or any other conditions that need a little more attention, how they are around other dogs/animals, if they have any training/rules that you would like me to keep up while you are gone (like no laying on the couch for example), any diets, and anything else you would like me to know about.
A typical day
Depending on what the dog likes most, I'll help keep them happy by going on walks/runs with them, playing ball and tug of war, or just cuddling. If they need time with other dogs, I will gladly take them out to a dog park to socialize.

I have watched dogs of all kinds over my lifetime, ranging from a high-energy terrier puppy, a clumsy mastiff, a sweet low maintenance golden retriever, and taken care of my elderly dog most of my life until she passed. I am happy to provide more details and references upon request.

Sophie was GREAT! She was very communicative before and during my dogs stay. She sent pictures and kept me updated on what they were doing. This was the first vacation in a while that I was not worried about how mt dogs were doing.
Sophie was so wonderful with our dog Bob. Bob seemed very happy and got lots of time with Sophie and her family, and Sophie even gave Bob a bath before pickup! Sophie was also super flexible with our pickup and drop off schedule. Would definitely recommend and use her again!
Sophie was kind and patient in the booking process when I had questions and concerns. She worked with me when I had a change in plans and was very responsive with all of our messaging. Most importantly: my dog was well cared for and had a good and safe time with Sophie. Easily one of our best experiences on Rover. I highly recommend her for pet sitting and will rebook with her in the future!
Sofie was the best! From our first communications, to the met and greet, to the end of the stay, she was flexible and friendly. I had no reservations about leaving our dog with her. She sent pictures everyday with a little update that confirmed she knew our dogs habits. Would highly recommend her and will definitely use her again myself!
