About: I have lived my whole life caring for dogs from 1 to 16 years old. I have experience caring for senior dogs, as well as dogs with high energy. I have dog sat for weeks at a time in the owners home and taken dogs on frequent long walks. I can clean up little accidents and bathe dogs. I am currently working part time at a retail shop this summer. I work 3-4 days a week and no more than 6 hours at a time. During the school year, I am a high school special education teacher and can sit overnights and evenings. I am strict about the rules and regulations a client leave for me. I also am very respectful of the animal and their needs and wants.
About: I have been taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember - whether they were my own or belonged to friends and family. I absolutely ADORE pups, and would love to give your pet(s) all of the love, attention and exercise they need - so you can always be sure they are in the best hands! I work from home full time, so my schedule is very flexible to fit your needs. If mid day services are needed, I would be happy to provide that. I live on Hilton Head Island. I have a house with a big fenced in back yard, lots of land to run on, and a friendly dog to keep your pup company.
About: All my life, my family has owned and cared for may types of pets. Besides personal pets, I’ve also house/pet sat for weeks, weekends, and summers for many families all over the low country. I am a full time teacher in Beaufort County so my schedule will permit for weekend care, evening care and school district breaks (Winter, Spring, and summer). I prefer pet care in the home of the owner so they will feel comfortable in their own environment. Ensuing the pets are safe and comfortable is the most important part of the job.

Whether it’s administering medication, following specific feeding schedules, or providing extra patience and attention, I’m committed to ensuring pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their humans are away. As long as pet owners provide guidance on their animals’ specific needs, I am more than happy to care for any type of animal, including reptiles, birds, or any other species. I’m always eager to learn and follow any specialized care routines to ensure every pet feels comfortable and well cared for. I am available for pet sitting and drop-in visits on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at any time. I avoid potential hazards, keep a close eye on their behavior, and ensure they stay safe in all environments. While in your home, I respect your space and maintain a clean, secure, and peaceful environment. I make sure doors and gates are properly secured, follow any household rules, and treat your home with the same level of care and responsibility as I would my own. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Hilton Head Island
Amy is an extraordinary girl and pet sitter. She is a local and very knowledgeable about the area and what she does. We had such a stress free time away over a long weekend and got regular updates. Amy is very conscientious and professional while being friendly at the same time. We highly recommend her and would definitely book her again!!

Gabriela was responsive immediately, set up a meet & greet, and took care of our pup the next day. We got great photos reassuring us she had paid careful attention and our high energy Cocoa was in good hands. Most importantly we came home to a calm happy pup. I’d definitely use Gabriela again.

Sarah is AMAZING! Our Bogey is so skittish with new people and she took the extra time to come and meet him a few times before being left alone with him and they are true buddies now. She not only came by and walked him, but spent time hanging out with him, petting him and giving him some love and a friend while we were out for the day, all with sending us pictures and even video. Sarah, we'll be calling you for as long as you'll have us!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
