“Gabriela was responsive immediately, set up a meet & greet, and took care of our pup the next day. We got great photos reassuring us she had paid careful attention and our high energy Cocoa was in good hands. Most importantly we came home to a calm happy pup. I’d definitely use Gabriela again.”

About: As a lifelong cat owner and animal lover, I understand that pets are family and deserve loving, dependable care. I've had cats all my life and have even opened my home and heart to stray cats, helping them receive the care and attention they needed. I have also cared for friends, neighbors and family pets for many years. I currently offer care for cats and small to medium size dogs. Whether your pet needs feeding, fresh water, playtime, cuddles, medication (if needed), or simply a friendly face while you're away, I'll treat them with the same kindness and patience I give my own pets. I'm reliable, detail-oriented, and happy to follow your pet's routine to help them feel safe and comfortable. I know every pet has a unique personality, and I take the time to earn their trust while giving you peace of mind. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets behind. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved and cared for while giving you peace of mind through regular updates and photos. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved pets! I am available early mornings, after 4 pm on weekdays and weekends to care for your cats and small dogs. I am also available for overnight stays in your home. I am a trusted, reliable pet caretaker and will treat your pets like my own. I am detail oriented and will follow all instructions and send frequent updates. I primarily serve the areas of Hilton Head Island and Bluffton neighborhoods.
“Meredith was amazing and fabulous with my "Birdie" while I was away for four days!!! Birdie took right to Meredith on our intro visit cuz she knew Meredith is a true dog lover. She gave me a thorough update and lotsa pics after each visit. I felt so comfortable with her taking care of and loving my little girl. I highly recommend Meredith and will use her every time I need. If I could give 10 stars I would!!!”

About: Hi, I’m Tiffany! 🐾 I’m a lifelong dog lover and a Hilton Head Island native who truly can’t imagine life without dogs in it. Growing up here has given me a deep connection to this community, and I love being able to care for the pets of the people who call Hilton Head home. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities from tiny pups under 20 lbs to large breeds over 100 lbs. I’ve learned that every dog is unique, and I love taking the time to understand their individual routines, needs, and personalities so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Whether your pup needs a fun walk, a drop in visit, companionship while you’re away, or extra patience and attention, I provide the same loving care I would want for my own pets. I’m dependable, attentive, and treat every dog like family. I know how hard it can be to leave your fur child, so I make it a priority to keep you updated with photos, messages, and little moments throughout our time together so you can have peace of mind knowing your dog is happy and well cared for. My goal is simple: for your dog to feel loved, safe, and cared for while you’re away. 🐶❤️ I’m currently working part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule to care for your pups! I also love sending updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your fur baby is happy and cared for while you’re away 🐾
About: I have taken care of puppies of relatives and acquaintances approximately between 3-2 years, they have trusted that I will treat them with all the love in the world, give them their food, take them out to do their needs, bathe them, give them their medications and play with them. I have also taken care of kittens, played with them, given them food and water, cleaned their litter box. My daily routine is to go for a walk with my baby two or three times a day depending on the dog's schedule to go out, my routine is very calm I live in an apartment complex which has a special park just for dogs and green areas to be able to spend it quietly mind, I give him a prize that is allowed by the owner, and I take him out to do his needs. When I take care of the dog at the owner's house I do a quiet routine, walk him to stretch and go to the bathroom, return home to rest and refresh, give him a reward that the owner agrees to use, play a little with the dog and give him a last walk to do his needs, if the owner needs me to give him dinner I do it with pleasure.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
