About: I’ve raised my mini Australian Shepherd since he was eight weeks old—training, socializing, and caring for him through every stage, from puppy zoomies to adult adventures, with lots of exercise, structure, and love. Dogs are a huge part of my life, so being able to care for them while I pursue my masters degree is like a dream come true! After being discharged from the U.S Army, I decided to get a puppy for the companionship and unconditional love they provide. The sheer impact he has on my life opened up my eyes to how important dogs are for your mental health and well-being. My dog is a huge part of my life and I ensure he is safe and healthy each and everyday. As a dog owner, I make sure my fur son goes to the vet every 6 months for a routine check up and I make him homemade dog food and treats so I know what he is eating on a daily basis.

About: I love dogs and have almost always had a dog. I currently do not have a dog so I thought now would be a good time to join Rover and help others. I work from home most days and when I do have to go into the office know that I am still only 10 minutes from my house. About: Hello! I have over 15 years experience training and caring for dogs. I have previously volunteered at the animal shelter where I helped train, walk and keep company of the animals boarded. I have also grown up with at least 1 dog in the house my entire life. I have basic training abilities (sit, stay, come, shake, no, kisses/speak) and an amplitude of love to give! I am an educator so I have summers off, leaving my schedule wide open :) I have a 2 year old that loves to play outside and go for walks! He would potentially accompany me to play with your babies if you don’t mind! He loves animals and knows how to be gentle as we have a 14yo Shih-tzu. We can’t get another animal at this time so please let me give your babies love and attention while you’re away!! I would prefer to watch your babies at your house…my dog Portia would be anxious with another animal in the home so it is easier for me to go to you:) but I am willing to take walks and play outside/inside with your pets!

I've worked at the barkers lounge while I lived in Charlotte, and in Winston Salem I have had over 2 years experience working at Ruff Housing and mount tabor boarding and grooming, and down here I've worked at Barks doggydaycare and I am currently at a grooming facility close by! I absolutely love being able to work with animals allowing the owners to be worried free while your fur babies are in my care! From running around with them to just loving up on them its such a blessing to be able to work with a smile on my face while making them feel comfortable and happy. Since I've worked there I now know the basics of how to calm a dog down, recognize when they feel scared or happy and know when to let them take a break from playing . I also learned a lot of behavior from different types of dogs as well as how to play with them so that I'm not to rough or soft with them. My mornings usually start around 7 with a 15 minute walk and breakfast! As soon as I get home a longer walk happends followed by dinner for the pets!
