About: I grew up with dogs of all breeds and sizes - I've never met a dog I don't like! I watched my mom train guide dog puppies from age 12-18 and am super familiar with best socialization practices for young pups as a result! I've also cared for elderly dogs, and can guarantee that I'll be reliable and dedicated, no matter your pet's age! I am a cat parent myself, so am comfortable with all things feline care as well! I work from home Monday, Tuesday, and Fridays, with a lot of flexibility on those days, as well as the weekends. I would love an excuse to get out of the house/take a walk/play with your animals during my breaks! Ideally, I'd like to set up a routine, so any recurring appointments are welcome. That said, I also love getting to know new pets, so I'm happy to work out whatever works best for you! Unless told otherwise, I will follow the animal's lead in terms of becoming familiar/comfortable with one another. I understand that different animals have different needs. My own experience has taught me that letting the animal come to you is the least threatening way to create a bond/relationship, so that tends to be my default approach but I am happy to take instruction from you if your pet has their own preferences!

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life! I got my first chocolate lab when I was just 2 years old, and since then I’ve cared for all kinds of pets—including a bunny, a bearded dragon, and plenty of farm animals like chickens, cows, goats, and horses. These days, I’m a proud dog parent to two sweet pups I’ve raised since they were tiny, and now at 8 and 11 years old they’re still my best buddies. Having cared for dogs from puppy energy to senior snuggles, I understand the different needs pets have at every stage of life.
