“Sush is cordial and very friendly. She welcomed our Keegan with love and affection. She has a beautiful and ample space for daycare and board. Totally reliable and trustworthy. 5 stars.”

About: Since I was a kid I have been surrounded by animals: cats, dogs, parrots, turtles, hamsters… I have lots of experience with many animals and find joy in caring for them. I moved to DC recently and I truly miss having pets. I’m hoping Rover will help me to spend some time with little cuties. Moreover, I work remotely and I love to be outside, my schedule is flexible. I am available weekday mornings, evenings, short periods during the day and weekends. I love to spend time playing with and getting to know new pets. I am reliable and will feed, walk, clean up and look after your family members. I have cared for cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, turtles, and birds so my experience is extensive. I am able to adjust to your needs whether they involve endless zoomies or midday naps.

“Hk took really good care of my then 10 month golden doodle. Hk stayed in touch with me throughout the day, and at the end of the visit provided good and honest feedback about my dog's stay.”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends and strangers alike ever since I graduated and moved to DC in 2019! It all started because I had such a deep love for dogs, but was not yet ready to have one of my own. Nowadays, I share an adorable little mutt with my boyfriend, and we split the care for her fairly evenly. Because of this, if you’re interested in boarding your pet, they need to be friendly with other dogs; ours absolutely LOVES them. Otherwise, I am happy to pet sit at your residence. Additionally, I have experience with elderly dog care and will cater to whatever their needs are. I’m a full-time corporate girlie with a flexible, hybrid work schedule. I’m normally in the office 2-3 days/week, but can work from home the entire duration of your pet’s stay, if that is desired. I’m happy to work with you to create the exact level of care and attention you desire for your doggo. Your pet would have free rein of the house while we’re home and would be kept in a separate room/ crate than our dog when we’re away. We do have a yard, although it’s not fenced in, so we let our dog run around on a 50 ft leash in the backyard; we could do the same for your dog!

“Had an overall positive experience. They were accommodating and communicative. Bowser had a great time playing with the other dogs and he was always tired from playing when picking him up. Will book again in the future.”

“Fiona was great and I’m glad she was able to take Jäger when my request was made a little last minute. Jäger is high energy and was exhausted when we got back home which is amazing. He’s usually a little high energy in his first day somewhere new and i feel he was in great hands! I’ll definitely use Fiona again!”

“Highly recommend! Simone was nice, empathetic, and patient! She sent regular updates on our dog with photos and videos. She let our dog sit on her lap while she was working. As a dog parent herself, she clearly knows how to take amazing care of pups!”

“Megan watched Pinot for a day and sent lots of pictures and videos of him having a blast! He played so much with her corgi that Pinot put himself straight to bed the minute he got home (this NEVER happens). Her home and environment felt very safe and comfortable in trusting her to watch our puppy. Highly recommend Megan!”

About: Hi, I am a stay-at-home dog mom for the summer! My boyfriend and I have a lifelong love for dogs of all sizes and breeds. We both grew up caring for pets and I’ve also volunteered at an animal shelter, where I helped with everything from giving love and attention to assisting with hygiene needs. Now, we’re excited to open our home to care for your furry family members. We live in a clean, cozy apartment in Ballston near Quincy and Oakland Parks—perfect for long strolls and playtime in nature. Whether it’s fetch, walks, or cuddles on the couch, we make sure your dog feels at home and gets plenty of love and attention. We have a flexible schedule to give your pup the care and companionship they need throughout the day. We’re committed to keeping up with your dog’s regular routines and providing a safe, calm, and happy environment. Whether you’re looking for boarding, walking, or just a loving place for your dog to spend the day, we can’t wait to meet your pet and give them the care they deserve! I am currently available throughout the week and some weekends. I will be available mostly during the week and the weekends for walks, home visits, and boarding. I have a safe, cozy, dog-friendly apartment along with a playful and friendly pup who loves other dogs. I will provide a loving and playful experience with your companion, treating them like my own.

“This was our first time using Rover and I am very happy we found Rebecca. She was great with our boy. He was definitely anxious at times, but she made him feel at home. They have a great backyard for playing fetch and he came home exhausted. Thank you for taking such great care of him 🩷”

About: Hello! I have been the caretaker of my family’s 15 year old Boston terrier/Jack Russel terrier until moving to Virginia about a month ago. I also used to see my fiancé’s mom’s 3 cats on a near daily basis. Since moving up here, I have been really missing spending time with a furry friend! Looking forward to having more time surrounded by the cutest companions! I currently work remote for an AI Tech start up (yes buzzword city!). I have the luxury of lots of free time throughout the day perfect for a good dog walk or check-in! I often have my weekly schedule in stone about a week in advance. I live in an apartment with a dog walk path and with 0.2 miles of the W&OD trail! Our complex also has a dog washing station and lots of treats. I am happy to spend the day with your pooch at my apartment or potentially take calls from your home if you need a day sitter.

I wake up around 8 at the morning and I will take them for a walk and then they will have their breakfast. After lunch I will take him for a small walk and later on hangout at around 4pm. they will have dinner at around 6 pm and then have a night walk at around 8-9pm I live at a apartment but downstairs have a big dog park. And I mostly WFH, so I will probably spend 99.9%with them, they will have my in their sight.

About: Coming soon my 3 furry Colombians 🐕🦺❤️🐾... Meanwhile, your faithful friend is in my hands! I am a dog lover with a heart divided between two countries: while I hope I can bring my three furry children from Colombia (a Pitbull full of energy and two loving Cockers), I want to take care of yours as if it were mine. - 🐾 **I know what 'misunderstood' races need**: Pitbulls deserve respect and patience, not stereotypes. The Cockers, attention and delicacy. - 🦴 **I adapt the care to his character**: Not all dogs are the same, and I learned that with mine! - ❤️ **I miss my dogs, but that makes me give more love to yours**." * When I take care of your dog, I don't just follow instructions: ✅ **Real experience** with strong and sensitive breeds. ✅ **Safe rides** for Pitbulls (or soft games for elderly Cockers). ✅ **Updated in signs of canine stress** (the Cockers are masters in that!). ✅ **Flexible and communicative**: I will send you photos and updates, because I know what it's like to be away from your pet." * Is your furry shy, hyperactive or a little study? I understand your language perfectly! For now, my three dogs are far away, but that only means that I will have more space in my heart (and in my agenda) to pampers yours I adapt my routine to give your pet the rhythm it needs: intense walks for the strong like my Pitbull, naps and pampering for the delicate like my Cockers, and always with updates that show you their day as if you were here!" ** My day is moulded to your dog: controlled energy for strong, patience for sensitive, and photos that steal a smile from you." * I offer personalised and 100% safe care in MY HOME, where your pet will receive:** 🏡 **An adapted space**: Separate areas for active dogs (like my Pitbull) and quiet areas for the most sensitive (like my Cockers). 🐕 **Experience with 'difficult' breeds**: I know how to manage strong energy and anxiety with patience and proven techniques. - 📲 **Total transparency**: I send photos, videos and daily reports so you can see how happy your furry is. - ❤️ **Seasonal love**: While I wait for my 3 dogs (who are in Colombia), your pet will be my absolute priority." **Why in my house? ** "I prefer to care in a controlled environment, where everything is prepared for safety and comfort, no surprises!" _.

“Guy was great with my Maltese she really enjoyed spending time with him and his dog Casey and the other dogs there. He has helped her significantly with her anxiety after the loss of her sister”

About: Hello from the mother, daughter, and dad team! Apart from the necessary cuddles, activity, and attention we offer, all and any instructions will be followed to a t. My parents and I have been providing care to beloved pets for a little over 13 years and never get tired of it! Due to the nature of my job (work from home) and my parents are retired, so, your pooch or kitty will always be within our sight and well accompanied. We are fit individuals that live close to many parks and trails, free of traffic. We look forward to meeting your furry companion and taking the best care of them, as if they were our own. I work from home and throughout the day I have dedicated time set aside to go on walks, play with, love on, and take care of your babies! And as mentioned, my parents are retired and have plenty of free time throughout the week. We are attentive to the pets needs and safety. We follow your close instructions on what is best to do, what to avoid, what they can and can’t eat. And of course, are completely transparent about how your pet is doing.

About: My fiancé and I both work fully remote, which means your pup will have constant care, attention, and plenty of outdoor time in our fully fenced yard. We both grew up with dogs and have plenty of experience with dogs. We have a friendly mini Aussiedoodle who loves company, and we're an active household that enjoys daily walks and playtime. Whether your dog needs extra cuddles, structured routines, or just a safe space to relax, we're here to meet all their needs and make them feel right at home! Since both my fiancé and I work from home, we're able to give dogs our full attention throughout the day—whether that’s potty breaks, playtime in our fenced yard, walks in our neighborhood, or just relaxing nearby while we work. In our home, pets are treated like part of the family. We maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where they can relax and feel secure. We follow your pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding times, medication, walks, or crate routines. Our fenced yard allows for safe, supervised outdoor time, and we offer lots of play, affection, and attention throughout the day. We’re attentive to each dog’s individual needs—whether they’re high-energy and love to play or more laid-back and prefer quiet companionship. Your pet’s well-being and happiness are always our top priority.

“Caroline was great communicating leading up to watching our pup, and provided prompt updates when we texted her throughout our dog’s day of daycare. Our dog was tired after a long day of sniffing around her yard!”

Estela G.
“Estela is a compassionate and reliable pet caregiver. I've known her for many years and she has been surrounded by many types of animals her whole life, they always seem to light up when she's around. Her ability to adapt to different pets and needs is something she has been practicing all her life and I'm confident she will absolutely adore all of the animals she will be working with. My families dogs are always happy to see her and sad to see her go.”

Kerstyn A.Star Sitter
“Kerstyn is my preferred animal and house sitter whenever I go away. She is a responsible adult that I trust and my animals love her. I know that my furry loved ones are getting attention, exercise and being cared for properly. My dog is a complete traitor and although he had a whole king sized mom and dad bed to himself, he snuggled in with Kerstyn in the guest room on the smaller bed. She took him on a fun fall field trip and he got to go to the park and get treats. I think he'd be ok if I went away more so he could have his friend over! I'm actually giving her information to my neighbors across the street who are seeking someone to come and stay over with their 2 large dogs.”

“I have known Isabelle for quite some time now. I can truly say that she is the sweetest, kindest, most authentic human. She is a very patient and calm person who can tackle any tricky situation with grace. I believe she would make the perfect dog sitter because of her genuine character. We share many dog photos together through different forms of social media, and that's fun. I would trust her with my future French Bulldog puppy for sure. I have also seen her with babies (who love her), so I'm sure if she can handle children, she can handle dogs. P.S. Her relentless love for all dogs brings joy to those around her.”

Miryam took great care of our dog, Koby! He is very shy with new people and she did a great job of making him feel safe with her. By the end of his time with her we could tell he felt comfortable, which was a huge relief for us! We already have her booked to care for Koby again.

Fiona was great and I’m glad she was able to take Jäger when my request was made a little last minute. Jäger is high energy and was exhausted when we got back home which is amazing. He’s usually a little high energy in his first day somewhere new and i feel he was in great hands! I’ll definitely use Fiona again!

Courtney is truly the BEST! She watched our 5-month-old puppy Leo while I was at work, and I couldn’t have asked for a more loving, reliable sitter. Every day, she gave him so much attention, playtime, and cuddles—he was literally wagging his whole body every time she showed up! 🐶💛 As a puppy, Leo can be a bit of a handful, but Courtney was so patient and sweet with him. She kept him on his routine, sent me the cutest updates, and made my workdays so much less stressful knowing he was in such good hands. I’d come home to a happy, tired, and very loved little pup 🥹 I feel so lucky to have found someone who truly cares. Thank you, Courtney, for treating Leo like your own! I am so grateful for you 🐾✨

Hallie is spectacular- she was available on short notice, and we were even able to set up a meet-n-greet before the scheduled sitting! Our pup Lalou (who is historically an excellent judge of character) took to her immediately! Lalou seemed comfortable during the meet-n-greet, even wanting to show off her skills to Hallie lol. On the day of the sitting? Hallie was communicative and sent us several pictures, each with Lalou looking super happy! She even managed to take Lalou to a nearby park with a stream, which is Lalou’s happiest place to be. I can’t thank Hallie enough and would DEFINITELY book her again if we’re back in town.

Our experience with Emily was fantastic, start to finish. She was super responsive from the very first inquiry and all that followed. One of our dogs can be very anxious in new settings and around new people, especially men, and Emily and Kent took the time that was needed to make both of our dogs comfortable during our meet and greet. The photo of our anxious girl cuddled up with Kent a few hours after we left was such a relief and made us so happy. Both dogs loved the fenced yard and walking in the neighborhood. I especially appreciated how attentive Emily was to the dogs' security and safety, regarding gates, fences, toys, and medication. Plenty of photos and updates during their stay put us all at ease. So glad to find such a great option for daycare close to home, with people who obviously love dogs.

Thy was absolutely amazing with Brie for her first solo daycare stay! Brie hadn’t been back since January but Thy was super observant with her body language and helped ease her into calming down throughout the day. Thy also provided super helpful feedback on Brie’s behavior throughout the stay which I genuinely appreciated. Once again, I’m beyond happy with Thy’s service, communication, and abilities. We will be repeat customers indefinitely!

Lina has always been so amazing to Reed and he is always so excited to go over there. She has great outdoor space at her house and is always willing to take him on fun hikes/adventures. Highly recommend for active dogs and feel very comfortable with her as a repeat dog sitter.
