About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with experience caring for my own dogs since I was 12, and I’m also the trusted dog sitter for my family and friends. I’m responsible, patient, and treat every dog like they’re part of my family. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, or just relaxing with belly rubs, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I also provide updates and photos so you always have peace of mind! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time, attention, and consistency they need. I keep a reliable routine, pets get consistent meal times, exercise, bathroom breaks, and attention. Your pet’s schedule will always come first, and I’ll follow any instructions you provide to keep them happy and comfortable. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a trustworthy, loving, and secure environment so you can feel confident while your pet is in my care. I live in a pet-friendly home with a fully fenced-in yard, perfect for safe outdoor play, exercise, and fresh air. I also have a friendly dog who gets along great with both dogs and cats, as well as two sweet cats who are comfortable around other pets. My home has a calm, positive atmosphere, perfect for pets who need a little extra love or reassurance. I understand that every pet has different needs and comfort levels, especially when it comes to interacting with other animals. For your peace of mind: •I can crate your pet if requested •I can keep your pet separate from mine if needed •I follow your routines and safety preferences •I do slow, supervised introductions to ensure comfort •I always maintain a clean, secure environment Whether your pet loves socializing or prefers their own space, I’ll make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and right at home.
“Toni is amazing! She spent the time to get to know my pup and was great with him. Her experience with her own pets is evident, and she is a trustworthy walker! She was flexible and communicated clearly!”

About: I have taken care of neighbors’ and grandparents’ dogs as well as my own. I love dogs more than most people and would do anything to protect them and keep them happy. As a college student away from my fur babies at home, this fits perfectly into my schedule. I have a lot of time on my hands until I start grad school this summer! I will just be taking the fur babies for walks as I am in an apartment that unfortunately does not allow pups. I will use safe paths or neighborhoods as well as any parks or fields that allow us!
“Jenni was WONDERFUL! On her second visit she asked if she could bring her dog for a playdate with her boyfriend and she sent photos and videos of happy, tail wagging pups playing ball together! I'm going to hire Jenni to come more regularly, hopefully with her pup! I will definitely use her for boarding because now my guy will be right at home with them all!”

“Elise arrived right on time and gave lots of attention to my two dogs, who were both depressed because I left them. Usually they won’t eat or go out, they just sulk, but she cuddled them and managed to get them to eat and go out. They were ecstatic when we got home and we found no messes. Thank you, Elise!”

“Christie does drop in visits with my dog Kato on some weekends. She’s very easy to work with and Kato always seems comfortable and happy when I get home! Will continue to book with her!”

I am really happy with Macy. She came a day before to meet my kitty and get the key. She came exactly on time to feed Girly. She cleaned her 2 litters and gave her water. She was also able to get her out of under the bed and play with her. Girly is usually very shy with strangers. I will definitely use her in the future with calm mind that my kitty is in good hands.

Alison was great. Will definately use her again. I have three cats and it was a three week stint... she even managed to get my shy boy out from under the bed and he let her pet him and he purred. First time ever! She was also very good about communicating things. Got a text pretty much every day with pics. She also watered my plants which was a big concern. So, overall, she get an A+. Gail
Rachel was great with our three cats — Gus, Leo, and Cooper! She was easy to communicate with, flexible with timing, and clearly a true animal lover. Cooper is on the shyer side and Rachel was totally unfazed. We've used her before, will keep coming back, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!

Maria was very attentive and helpful while I was away I was worried about Possums eye and contemplating a vet visit. She gave eye drops and plenty of updates, and when I returned home his eye was good as new! Thanks to Maria Possum and Sloth think food time means play time which makes me happy to know they enjoyed their time with her! Thank you so much!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 2,237 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Heritage. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Heritage. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
