“Macy did AMAZING with our pup!! Super sweet and kind! She sent us lots of photos and updates. Even sat outside with her while it was pouring rain, and brought in her food package for us when we weren’t home! We will definitely be using her again!”

“Alison is the most amazing pet sitter! She always takes such good care of our two cats. She sends detailed daily updates and lots of lovely pictures, which always reassure us that our cats are in good hands. When my husband and I have gone on vacations before and left the cats behind in the care of other sitters, the cats always seem a little sad and stressed when we return. But not with Alison! They always seem calm and happy because she’s done such a good job of making them feel safe and cared for. Now, we wouldn’t trust our cats to anyone else. Thank you, Alison!”

“Adriene was AMAZING with our two dogs, Chole and Luna! She gave them such love and attention. She communicated with us while we were away. This made us feel so comfortable. We knew they girls were being well cared for. We highly recommed Adriene!”

“Took good care of my baby boy while I had to be away, and he was immediately very comfortable with them, which made me feel good and less anxious about having to leave him home. I’ll definitely use Jenni’s services again in the future.”

“After meeting Christie for the first time and seeing how patient she was with Ellie, I could see she was an animal lover. I was able to relax and have a great time visiting family for the weekend.”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was young. Growing up with new foster puppies every week, I learned how to house-train young puppies and keep them out of trouble. I love spending time with pets and have really enjoyed pet sitting for friends and family! I just graduated from NC State University this May and am taking this summer off from work before beginning my PhD program this fall. This means I will have a of availability to spend time with your pets and provide them with the attention they deserve. I will be available for home visits at your desired frequency and duration so that your pets get the attention and play time they need.
About: I have taken care of neighbors’ and grandparents’ dogs as well as my own. I love dogs more than most people and would do anything to protect them and keep them happy. As a college student away from my fur babies at home, this fits perfectly into my schedule. I have a lot of time on my hands until I start grad school this summer! I will just be taking the fur babies for walks as I am in an apartment that unfortunately does not allow pups. I will use safe paths or neighborhoods as well as any parks or fields that allow us!
“Sarah came highly recommended from our old sitter who is leaving town. She is kind, patient, and genuinely caring. Our dog felt comfortable and happy right away, which gave us total peace of mind at meet and greet. Such a nice, trustworthy person—we’d absolutely book her again.”

“Michelle has become the person I trust the most whenever I travel. She is incredibly attentive and responsible, she even noticed that my cat had unplugged the automatic feeder and immediately fixed the issue. Most importantly, my cat absolutely adores her, which gives me so much peace of mind when I’m away. I couldn’t ask for a better sitter and highly recommend her.”

About: Hello! My name is Hope. Although I have been taking care of animals all my life, my experience really began almost four years ago, when I started taking animal/veterinary science classes in high school. Since then, I have taken care of hundreds of dogs, cats, exotics, and barn animals through my experience in school and working for a boarding facility. These animals include pets of many different sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments. These pets also include ones with special needs and/or medication. I have a veterinary assistant certification from the AVMA, and am studying veterinary technology in college. This past year, I have worked with hundreds of dogs and cats, and have gotten to see now more than ever the unique personalities that shine through every animal! I love animals, and every animal I care for feels like my own. I'm a part-time worker who is taking a semester off from college, so I have plenty of time for your pets! I'm available for pet care anytime, any day, with occasional exceptions. In my past four years of animal care, I have learned that attention to detail is extremely important when it comes to safety. I do everything in my power to never miss a health concern. To put your mind at ease, I will always be ready to give updates and photos so you can see how your furbaby is doing. When looking after your pet, I want to be sure that they are as comfortable as they possibly can be. I make it a goal to provide extra love and enrichment, so that their time away from you is stress-free.
About: I love both cats and dogs and they love me! I’ve gotten along with every kitty and doggie that I’ve met to date! I have childhood cat care experience as well as experience taking care of my college roommate’s mini Australian shepherd. I’m adaptable, intutitive, and reliable. You can trust me to make your doggie or kitty happy😸🐶! I’m available everyday of the week unless otherwise noted by me. For the most part, I will be able to pet sit with little schedule conflicts. Unless I am boarding, my day will end at 6pm. I have a fenced yard if your pet would like some outside time. My home is spacious so there will be a lot of room to stretch and walk around. My family loves animals so your pets will be in a welcome and loving space.
“Elise arrived right on time and gave lots of attention to my two dogs, who were both depressed because I left them. Usually they won’t eat or go out, they just sulk, but she cuddled them and managed to get them to eat and go out. They were ecstatic when we got home and we found no messes. Thank you, Elise!”

Pike Creek Valley cat parents share their Rover experiences
I am really happy with Macy. She came a day before to meet my kitty and get the key. She came exactly on time to feed Girly. She cleaned her 2 litters and gave her water. She was also able to get her out of under the bed and play with her. Girly is usually very shy with strangers. I will definitely use her in the future with calm mind that my kitty is in good hands.

Alison was great. Will definately use her again. I have three cats and it was a three week stint... she even managed to get my shy boy out from under the bed and he let her pet him and he purred. First time ever! She was also very good about communicating things. Got a text pretty much every day with pics. She also watered my plants which was a big concern. So, overall, she get an A+. Gail
Rachel was great with our three cats — Gus, Leo, and Cooper! She was easy to communicate with, flexible with timing, and clearly a true animal lover. Cooper is on the shyer side and Rachel was totally unfazed. We've used her before, will keep coming back, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!

Maria was very attentive and helpful while I was away I was worried about Possums eye and contemplating a vet visit. She gave eye drops and plenty of updates, and when I returned home his eye was good as new! Thanks to Maria Possum and Sloth think food time means play time which makes me happy to know they enjoyed their time with her! Thank you so much!
