Hello! I’m 32 and live in Hockessin De. I’ve been taking care of animals for about 16 years. I have experience working in a dog daycare, volunteering at shelters, and caring for animals by request from clients. I also have a pup that is my world! I have experience giving medication, taking animals to appointments, and providing hygienic care. Apart from animal care, I have my B.A. in corporate communication, and my M.S. in higher education policy and student affairs. I’m flexible, friendly, communicative, and dependable. Christie was very responsive in setting up my dog's stay. I tried to set up a meet and greet but it was a busy week for her. After a little over 24 hours after dropping my dog off for his 5 day stay, she messaged me asking if I could come and get him and that she didn't think it would work out since he was barking and wouldn't leave her dog alone. I was 10 hours away and had to make arrangements for someone to come get him. I wish she would have made herself available for a meet and greet and also disclosed that she had a young child (17 months) in the house. I have a 1 1/2 larger breed and I was uncomfortable leaving him there when I found that out, even though I did let her know that my dog still has puppy energy at times and can get jumpy and bitey.
Christie was very patient with our dog Ollie as he settled in to new surroundings. I appreciate that she was communicative and flexible. Would definitely recommend her to others.
Christie has great communication and was prompt for the visit. My dog is challenging (reactive) and she was thoughtful in suggesting ways to work with him. Her patience and experience are a plus!

I had such a great first Rover experience with Christie! From the start, she were incredibly patient and understanding, especially with my puppy who can be a bit energetic and still learning. It really meant a lot to have someone who took the time to make my pup feel comfortable and cared for. She is very timely and reliable, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Communication was smooth, and I always felt like my puppy was in good hands. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a kind, dependable, and attentive sitter!

I love to let the dogs run around, walks, dog park or whatever you prefer! I am also always open to dogs who just want to snuggle!
