Hello! I’m 32 and live in Hockessin De. I’ve been taking care of animals for about 16 years. I have experience working in a dog daycare, volunteering at shelters, and caring for animals by request from clients. I also have a pup that is my world! I have experience giving medication, taking animals to appointments, and providing hygienic care. Apart from animal care, I have my B.A. in corporate communication, and my M.S. in higher education policy and student affairs. I’m flexible, friendly, communicative, and dependable. I can provide references from clients that I have helped in the past and presently sit for. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! Hoping I can make your life a little bit easier!

Christie seems to have done a good job with Indy. We got pics and vid along the way from her. Our Jack Russell played with her dog a good bit. Nice family neighborhood. 4 days there. We’d comfortably choose to let Indy stay with Christie again.
Christie did a great job with our cat. I never worried about Pip getting fed 2x a day. We don’t travel much Anymore , but would definitely recommend her.
Christie was very responsive in setting up my dog's stay. I tried to set up a meet and greet but it was a busy week for her. After a little over 24 hours after dropping my dog off for his 5 day stay, she messaged me asking if I could come and get him and that she didn't think it would work out since he was barking and wouldn't leave her dog alone. I was 10 hours away and had to make arrangements for someone to come get him. I wish she would have made herself available for a meet and greet and also disclosed that she had a young child (17 months) in the house. I have a 1 1/2 larger breed and I was uncomfortable leaving him there when I found that out, even though I did let her know that my dog still has puppy energy at times and can get jumpy and bitey.
Christie was very patient with our dog Ollie as he settled in to new surroundings. I appreciate that she was communicative and flexible. Would definitely recommend her to others.
Christie has great communication and was prompt for the visit. My dog is challenging (reactive) and she was thoughtful in suggesting ways to work with him. Her patience and experience are a plus!
