About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with dogs and cats, and now having two rescue dogs of my own, I just can't imagine life without them. I haven't used Rover before, but I've spent years watching friends' dogs and cats whenever they needed someone they could trust. I've raised puppies, cared for kittens, and even handled medications when needed, so I'm no stranger to what animals need to feel safe and loved. I come to your home so your babies can stay in their own space, in their own routine. Every animal is different and I take the time to get to know them. Big or small, they all get the same gentle, attentive care. I just genuinely love animals, and that's something you'll see the moment I meet your pet. I'm always happy to set up a meet-up before booking so we can connect, your pet can get comfortable with me, and we can make sure it feels like the right fit for everyone I recently graduated from Arcadia University with my Master's in Physician Assistant Studies. While I study for my boards and prepare to move back home to Washington, I have time on my hands and want to spend it doing something I truly enjoy. Right now my days are completely open, which means your dog gets my full attention. No rushing off, no squeezing them in between a busy schedule. I'm there as long as they need me. As the mom of two very needy rescue dogs, I completely understand wanting your babies to have someone around as much as possible, and right now, I'm in a position to give exactly that! Since I will be in your home, my first priority is to respect whatever routine and rules you have in place for your pet. I am happy to provide as much or as little entertainment, snuggles, or space as your fur baby needs. When it comes to walks, I'm no stranger to dogs that pull on the leash or get reactive around other dogs. I've handled strong, reactive animals before and I feel confident and calm managing them.

About: My personal experience has consisted of hands-on settings caring for dogs through pet sitting, volunteering at an animal shelter, and helping raise and train my own dog from puppyhood. At the shelter, I regularly cared for and walked both dogs and cats, gaining knowledge and experience with a variety of temperaments and energy levels. I’ve also sat alongside a professional trainer with my own dog, watching taught me how to set appropriate boundaries, understand behavior, and use patience and consistency. In addition to basic training, I’ve taught fun commands like “roll over” and “paw.” Overall, I’m confident handling dogs with different personalities and needs. About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was young. Growing up with new foster puppies every week, I learned how to house-train young puppies and keep them out of trouble. I love spending time with pets and have really enjoyed pet sitting for friends and family! I just graduated from NC State University this May and am taking this summer off from work before beginning my PhD program this fall. This means I will have a of availability to spend time with your pets and provide them with the attention they deserve. I will be available for home visits at your desired frequency and duration so that your pets get the attention and play time they need.

About: I have taken care of neighbors’ and grandparents’ dogs as well as my own. I love dogs more than most people and would do anything to protect them and keep them happy. As a college student away from my fur babies at home, this fits perfectly into my schedule. I have a lot of time on my hands until I start grad school this summer! About: Hello! My name is Hope. Although I have been taking care of animals all my life, my experience really began almost four years ago, when I started taking animal/veterinary science classes in high school. Since then, I have taken care of hundreds of dogs, cats, exotics, and barn animals through my experience in school and working for a boarding facility. These animals include pets of many different sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments. These pets also include ones with special needs and/or medication. I have a veterinary assistant certification from the AVMA, and am studying veterinary technology in college. This past year, I have worked with hundreds of dogs and cats, and have gotten to see now more than ever the unique personalities that shine through every animal! I love animals, and every animal I care for feels like my own. I'm a part-time worker who is taking a semester off from college, so I have plenty of time for your pets!
