“Alison was fantastic!! She agreed to do two drop ins with my cat over the holidays and was a huge lifesaver! She was very attentive and took amazing care of him even though he is very shy. Highly recommend!”

“She was so kind and thoughtful with our sweet babies She gave off such a good energy, and I had no hesitations about leaving them with her. The care and love she has for dogs absolutely comes through. Would definitely book her again!”
“Adriene was AMAZING with our two dogs, Chole and Luna! She gave them such love and attention. She communicated with us while we were away. This made us feel so comfortable. We knew they girls were being well cared for. We highly recommed Adriene!”

“Jenn - I can’t thank you enough! You managed to bring our very scared and timid little pup around. You have been so patient with him and we appreciate it so much! You have been so reliable, easy to communicate with, I absolutely adore your updates about the pups!! Thank you so much for filling in the gaps in our puppy care!!”

“Nathan took great care of our senior cat while we were away for the weekend. He was prompt to stick to her eating schedule and took care of everything she needed, including lots of pets! I would book Nathan and Meredith again in the future.”
“Toni is great! This was the 2nd time booking Toni to take care of our cat. I appreciated the daily update and pics and peace of mind that our cat and house were in good hands. Thanks so much for caring for our Kenny!”

“Jordana connected with my kitty right away and took great care of her. She is very dependable, takes great pictures to share with me and handles the feeding, playing and litter box with love. Highly recommend her for your pet care!”

“Stephanie was my first pet sitter with Rover, and I was really apprehensive about leaving my cat for 2 weeks. Stephanie not only went above and beyond to reassure me, but she was flexible with the booking and checking on my house while I was away. She provided detailed updates with plenty of pictures, followed all instructions, and exceeded expectations. My normally skittish cat took to Stephanie immediately, which I know had to do with Stephanie, because she didn’t come out for anyone else that stopped by the house. I had a wonderful experience, and would definitely request Stephanie for any future pet sitting needs.”

“Sarah came highly recommended from our old sitter who is leaving town. She is kind, patient, and genuinely caring. Our dog felt comfortable and happy right away, which gave us total peace of mind at meet and greet. Such a nice, trustworthy person—we’d absolutely book her again.”

“Arrived promptly on schedule and spent quality time with our two dogs. Sent pictures each time. Will certainly use Lisa’s service again and would recommend her for those looking for a compassionate animal caregiver.”
“Jeannette was absolutely amazing. This was my first time using the Rover App for a weekend away and I was very comfortable with leaving my dog in her care. She was very communicative, active with my pup, and just went above and beyond to make sure he was taken care of. Definitely recommend, Jeannette, 100%!”

“Elise arrived right on time and gave lots of attention to my two dogs, who were both depressed because I left them. Usually they won’t eat or go out, they just sulk, but she cuddled them and managed to get them to eat and go out. They were ecstatic when we got home and we found no messes. Thank you, Elise!”

“Highly recommend Michelle! She’s basically family now, like a cool aunt to Niangao. She is so attentive to his needs, and my cat completely loves her. It gives me such peace of mind knowing he’s in her hands. Will definitely be booking her again!”

About: Hi, my names Samantha! Thank you for considering me as a sitter. My family consists of myself, husband, toddler twin boys, our own dog Tank plus, our cats. We live in a smaller ranch home so we only board one family at a time. Because of this, your dog becomes part of our family for the duration of their stay. If they like sleeping on the couch or bed at home, then they have the freedom to do the same at our house. We follow the same schedule you have at home the best to our abilities. We’re both early risers and night owls so we’re flexible when it comes to potty breaks. Both my husband and I work full time but with our schedules dogs aren’t left alone for more than 8 hours on a typical day. We have a good sized fenced in yard for your furbaby to run around and sniff in. We also have a nice size neighborhood if your pet enjoys walks weather permitting of course. We look forward to loving your fur baby as much as you do! I currently work a full time job but I’m off work in the afternoon and on the weekends. We spend plenty of time at home to make sure your furbaby has our attention and isn’t alone for long. Your furbaby becomes a member of our family while staying with us. We have a nice sized fenced in yard that your fur baby can romp around in. We also have a decent size neighborhood for walks!

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Stanton
Alison was terrific in every way, and our cat, Kenzi, fell absolutely in love with her. I looked forward to the daily reports and pictures, and could see how happy Kenzi was under Alison’s excellent and affectionate care. The next time we go away, Alison is my number one choice as a cat sitter, and Kenzi wholeheartedly agrees!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Stanton. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
