About: Hi! I'm Hailey. I am totally obsessed with animals, despite being a healthcare worker. I'm currently a student nurse at the UW, but it doesn't mean I can't spend time with animals! In my profile, you'll see pictures of two yellow labs; these two are gone now, but I grew up with them, and they taught me so much about life and love. I have spent time volunteering with the DCHS, Heartland Farm Sanctuary (where you see the emus), and Feathered Friends. Most recently, I adopted a disabled kitty cat and a labrador rescued from a puppy mill. Both of them fulfill my life in ways I can't even begin to explain. Having worked in nursing and volunteered with animals, I am no stranger to compassionate care! Other than going to classes, my life revolves around my dog. She goes everywhere with me, and we exercise for at least an hour together every day. Every room of my house has a dedicated spot for her! Your pets would be treated no differently (unless that's what you want!) My partner and I maintain a child-free and drug-free home in a quiet neighborhood. Our home is peaceful and low-stress, perfect for any pup. As for walking, I always carry personal protective equipment (pepper spray, alarms, location trackers) to maintain safety. We have taken a lot of positive reinforcement training classes together which range from manners, canifitness challenges, canicross, cooperative care (husbandry), to simply learning how to play with each other. I help my dog with big feelings everyday and use multiple positive reinforcement tools and pattern games so we can still enjoy our walks. About: I have done petsitting (cats and dogs) for over 15 years. Usually for animals where I personally know the owners and have spent time with the animal to create a bond/relationship. If I had a pet of my own, I would ensure all their needs are met. As a petsitter, I would to ensure their animal's life doesn't change or I could make it better in some small way especially since their parent(s) is gone I stay at the animal's home to care for them so their life isn't different than what it usually is for them. About: I’ve dog-sat for aunts and uncles since I was 16! I love dogs of all sizes and breeds :) big dogs have a special place in my heart because I used to show bullmastiffs when I was a kid! I work 3-4 days a week depending on my schedule. And I’m going back to school this fall. I am trying to save some money for a very expensive treatment that I’ve been trying to avoid so I’m doing what I can to make a little extra! I love our neighborhood and love being outside so I figured this is the perfect way to do that! My husband and I bought our house last November. We have a fenced in yard and an 8 month old chocolate lab puppy who LOVES other dogs and any opportunity to play with them! She will bark on occasion and when that happens, we just bring her inside because we don’t like to disturb our neighbors. She is allowed on the furniture when we invite her up so we don’t mind if you dog likes the couch! I would have the same respect for your house as I do my own!
