“Pakuna was super reliable and kind to my cats and dogs. She sent regular updates and pictures. Extremely trustworthy, dependable, sweet, and most importantly kind and competent with animals. Pakuna is highly recommended. I wish I could give more than 5 stars ✨⭐🌟✨”

“Upon meeting Kelly we knew our girl was in good hands for the week she emits a calm friendly aura with a trusting attitude that we knew Moon would appreciate. This was our first experience with the service and took us a few tries to find someone but who we got was stellar. Kelly leaves informative well documented visits that are detailed with love and care we hope she is available for our future bookings. Thank you so much again we can’t say enough good things.”

About: I've taken care of pets, both my own fur babies and those of loved ones, my whole life! Whether it's walking your puppy during a long work day or making sure that your senior cat gets their medication on time when you're out of town, whether it's playing with your teacup Chihuahua or your giant mastiff mix, I am well versed in pet care and understand that while life may make demands on our time, that our furry friends still deserve uncompromised love and attention. I am currently not working and am currently seeking part time employment, so my schedule is fully open! I can help make sure that your pets get what they need at the times that work best for your routines. I have considerable experience working with and being around cats and dogs of all sizes, ages, temperaments, and care needs! Whether it's a little dog with a big personality, a gentle giant dog, a lazy cat, or an active kitten, you can rely on me to stay calm and steady to provide the best possible care for your animals and to meet them where they're at in terms of need for engagement and activity.
“Wes did such a great job and was wonderful with our dogs and cats. He took the best pictures of them that I’ve ever seen and shared them throughout the visit. I would recommend Wes to anyone!”

About: We are a duo who help others with their pets! My name is Desiree, and my partner’s name is Tyler. We are adventurous! Often, we fill our free time with hikes, walks around cities, and exploring parks. We would love to take your dogs on these walks too! I grew up around animals—anything from rabbits, mice, cats, and dogs to some exotics like raccoons. As a kid, I would rehabilitate animals like deer or wild rabbits. I feel we need to look out for our little friends, as the world is hard for everyone. Being kind is important to me. I have experience with basic dog training, teaching good leash behavior, and giving extra care to older dogs! I'm comfortable with giving medicine, or going the extra mile to help upkeep their health, may it be brushing teeth, giving baths, or grooming. Our goal is to provide the best, and perfect routine for your pets while you're away that would match closely to what you would do in your daily life to assure max comfort for your animals. We currently go to school online, so we are very flexible with our time and since two of us are on duty, we can always give attention! We mainly care for them in your home, and this is very flexible to how you would want them cared for. We love to follow exact instructions, or approximate instructions. Whichever you want to provide. We want your trip away from home to be stress free, and confident your pet is getting treated with the utmost care and love.
“Austen is an incredible. As a first-time user of the app, I was a bit nervous about leaving my dog in someone else’s care—but Austen truly exceeded all expectations. He is kind, professional, and incredibly thoughtful. From the very beginning, he took time to explain how everything worked and even offered to meet and greet in a place my dog and I felt comfortable. He’s a great communicator—always quick and detailed with responses which helps ease nerves. His intuitive and observant nature around dogs gave me so much peace of mind. He not only cared for my dog with genuine affection but also clearly understands dog behavior and needs. He kept me updated on her eating habits. He took my dog on potty breaks, walks, sent regular photos and videos, and was even flexible and helpful when I had a flight delay and needed an extra drop-in visit. I’m beyond grateful for his care and highly recommend him. His rover reports put a huge smile on my face every time. I’ll definitely be booking him again for future visits and walks!”

“Benjamin did an amazing job taking care of my 18-year-old cat Buster. He went over and above with his care of Buster , who needs medication for thyroid twice a day. He spent time with him, sent me lots of pictures and kept me up-to-date with everything that was happening. I recommend him without any hesitation at all. Thank you, Benjamin.”

“Jamie took great care of our three cats while we were away. She kept us updated daily and, when our indoor/outdoor cat didn't show up for feeding time, she made sure there was food accessible outside. Our cats really seemed to enjoy spending time with her.”

“She’s sweet and kept me updated on my cats! She’s answered questions I had about the process and I’ve enjoyed seeing my cats at the end of the day (even my shy baby!). I would definitely recommend Daphne :)”

“As always…Erin is thoughtful and diligent in her care. We have diabetic cat and Erin kept an eye on here glucose and gave shots as needed. She spends quality time with our senior girl that is reassuring for us and our little cat. Her reports are always informative along with pictures that leave us confident our little sweet girl is in great hands. 😊”

About: I've taken care of many animals over the years. At one point our family had 8 dogs and a cat and I took care of them all. I've done pet sitting, feeding, walking, and many other services throughout the years. I enjoy taking care of animals and giving them some extra love and attention. I understand being a busy owner not being able to do everything they need at all times and when you love your pets you still want to give them that attention. While my schedule does depend on the week. Currently I am free most days on the afternoons. I do work part time, and I go to school full time, my course and work schedule change each trimester. While I don't have the ability to offer boarding in my own home. I offer drop ins and dog walking. Depending on animal temperament and the owners I can do nail trims with assistance and minimal grooming. I understand pets have their own routine with you, I will work hard to make sure they're comfortable in their own home and in public. As long as you tell me what all you need/want and any specific constraints concerning your pets I will work with you, and make them just as happy as if you were there.
“Very kind and respectful. Took the time to make sure she and my pup were a good fit together. Nice to not have to worry if my babies are okay while I am away. Will be using her services again!”

Ana accepted our request last minute and did a great job with our cats. She went above and beyond and even did an extra checkin with them and watered my plants. She even cleaned up after their mess which we didn’t require at all. I would definitely book Ana again for future visits!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
