She did everything we asked, was attentive to his needs and sent lots of pictures and details about her visits with him. We plan to reach out to her for future sitter needs.”
About: Ever since a child I have had an undeniable bond with animals. I’ve worked with all types, birds, horses, dogs, cats, livestock, exotic animals, you name it. Growing up my family was always pet people and they’d say I’m more of a pet person than them all! As a previous rancher, I have tons of experience with medications, veterinary care, and pet care for all species. As an entrepreneur I have all the time in the world for my pets and yours! My schedule is almost always free and ready for you! I own a beautiful 6 year old working line German shepherd, so I specialize in high-energy and protective breeds. I understand their drive, structure, and need for leadership. My goal is to keep your dog mentally fulfilled, exercised, and emotionally secure while maintaining the training and routine you’ve built. I also have experience with low energy dogs, training puppies, and even whelping litters! Pet care is my full-time job, so I have a very flexible schedule and can provide consistent attention and care. I’m available for boarding, drop-ins, and walks throughout the week, including weekends, with plenty of time for play, exercise, and companionship. I focus on personalized, attentive care in a calm, clean, and secure environment. I maintain your pet’s routine, monitor behavior and health, and provide mental and physical enrichment. Owners receive regular updates and photos for complete peace of mind.
About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid. I have experience with a wide range of dogs. Ranging from small dogs to large such as German Shepards and Great Danes all the way to chihuahuas. I take pride in having the patience in getting to know each animal and their needs. I have a calming caring demeanor and work hard to build trust with each animal. I have a lot of experience walking dogs, feeding, house sitting cats and dogs and am a go to for friends and family. I am currently working part time and would love to fill my schedule caring for your pets! After losing my lab a few years ago, I often seek opportunities to build connections with animals of all sizes and ages. Being an experienced dog sitter, I plan to show you and your pets the upmost respect. I have pet sat and walked a wide variety of dogs in a variety of homes and can insure you that your pet and your home are safe with me.
“Astrid was incredible! So loving and caring and welcoming to our kitties and our bird. She was more than happy to accommodate our requests. Astrid also was great with our bird, who can be a bit scary. So happy to have her take care of our home and will absolutely hire her in the future.”

“Tina was a blessing!! I feel so bad leaving my cats for long trips but she eased my anxiety so much by giving thoughtful and thorough updates and lots of cute pics. She spent additional time sitting and playing with them which means so much because I know they get lonely. They’re also having problems with some outside the litter box pooping that hasn’t been easily resolved and she graciously cleaned up the messes and even left my apartment a little cleaner than she found it. Excellent service and communication!:)”

“I'm so happy I chose Sami. Sami sent me photos every day and never judged me for all the dust under the bed, and she took excellent care of Zoomy. I have another trip coming up in January and I will definitely rebook Sami.”

About: At this point in my life, I have cared for almost any domestic, exotic or farm animal that one can run into! Time spent working with snakes and spiders in a reptile shop, working on farms with cattle, goats and chickens, and caring for everyones furry companions like cats, dogs and rodents in homes has left me feeling well prepared to handle whatever critters come our way. My remaining pet is Sharkbait, a 9 year old heeler mix, who has been the everywhere and everything dog with me for the last 8+ years. She has met all of the above animals in her time and is the ultimate friend to all. As a retired service animal, she is kind and intuitive while responding calmly to reactive animals she meets. This makes her the perfect travel companion and buddy for all your babies and she will always be with me on sitting and walking jobs as she and I like to stay very active, walking anywhere from 2-6 miles daily together. Lets chat about your animals specific needs and background! Being active is a huge part of my day and I love making sure your animals are included in that! Walks to the park and jogs around the block are my favorite way to keep your pets focus while expending that pent up energy. For homebody pets I love a good puzzle or snuffle toy to keep their minds working in their safe space. Meet and greets together as a family are priority so that when you're out of town or at work, your pet(s) can trust Sharkbait and I are there to support them. Any candid tips and tricks around behaviors or routines are welcomed.

Hayesville cat parents share their Rover experiences
Benjamin did an amazing job taking care of my 18-year-old cat Buster. He went over and above with his care of Buster , who needs medication for thyroid twice a day. He spent time with him, sent me lots of pictures and kept me up-to-date with everything that was happening. I recommend him without any hesitation at all. Thank you, Benjamin.

Kayla was the absolute BEST! She is so thoughtful and caring and went the extra mile to take care of our two cats while we were on vacation. We very much appreciated her great communication. We will definitely call on her again when we need a wonderful cat sitter!

Sami is always reliable and takes such great care of my scared, non-friendly cat, Zoomy. She makes sure he has food, water, and a safe place when he decides to come out from under the bed. I appreciate her and will always see if she is available when I have to be away from home.

Brigitt did an absolutely fantastic job with our two cats while we were away! She was so kind and communicative, making sure our boys were well taken care of and shown lots of love. I will definitely be re-booking in the future when we can’t be home with them ourselves! Thanks so much, Brigitt!💗
