About: I have had 3 dogs of my own for years that I’ve helped train and take care of alongside my family. I have also been paid for and asked to take care of my families dogs or other pets multiple times. I have had 3 cats as well, so I’m pretty well knowledgeable in both areas of care. Im working part time at the moment and have space between and after my classes to take care of whatever business and pet sitting necessary :) I am very patient and careful with dogs with knowing many temperaments are different and unique. I’ve dealt with bigger dogs so I’m not easily nervous around noisy dogs.

About: What sets me apart is that I treat pets like family, not just a checklist. I pay close attention to their routines, personalities, comfort levels, and little quirks, whether that means giving a shy cat space, keeping a playful pet engaged, or sending updates so you feel reassured while you’re gone. While most of my experience is with cats, I’m also open to caring for dogs and have watched dogs in the past. I’m reliable, communicative, and genuinely care about making your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their own home. Pet sitting is my full-time work, so my days really are built around caring for animals and showing up for them consistently. I love that I get to spend my time helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their people are away. Since this is my main focus, I’m able to be thoughtful and flexible with each pet’s routine. Some pets want playtime and attention, some need a calm presence and a little patience, and some just want their meals on time and their space respected. I try to meet each pet where they are and keep their day feeling as normal and stress-free as possible. I also have my own cat, Mango, so I know how much the little details matter. I bring that same care into every visit, whether I’m checking in on cats, caring for dogs, sending updates, or just helping your pets and home feel settled while you’re gone I’m very respectful of both your pet and your home. I make sure doors, gates, windows, food, and supplies are handled carefully, and I pay attention to the little things that help prevent stress or accidents. I also like to send updates and photos so you feel comfortable knowing how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible and help them feel secure in their own space. Whether your pet is social, shy, playful, or more independent, I’ll meet them where they are and give them care that feels patient, gentle, and trustworthy.
“Megan is such a great communicator. She was flexible with my scheduling needs. Megan did everything I ask her too, including cleaning up my puppies messes. The puppies seem very happy with their new sitter”

About: I've taken care of several types of dogs. Growing up we had a chihuahua and I was responsible for feeding, bathing, and I played a lot with him. I also pet sit my friends two labradoodles and was responsible for feeding, playing, and just watching the house for most of the day. I also had a cat and was responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning litter, and helping apply ear mite medicine when she had them. I'm currently working part time as an instructional assistant through edustaff so my schedule fluctuates depending on when I can get myself scheduled to work. I have always cared for my pets so that they feel safe and loved. I make sure that the pets are happy and feel able to play.

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and small animals for over 5 years and have hands-on experience with large breeds, working dogs, reactive dogs, and high-energy personalities. I currently own German Shepherds as well as two chinchillas, so I understand the importance of species-specific care, structure, enrichment, and maintaining a safe environment. I’m comfortable with crate routines, medication administration, basic training reinforcement, long walks, litter box care, feeding routines, and reading animal body language. My professional background in high-stress environments has also made me calm, dependable, detail-oriented, and communicative. I know how important trust is when leaving your pets with someone else, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. I currently work full-time during the week, but I’m still able to provide dependable drop-in care and quality engagement for pets. I’m available for evening drop-in visits during the weekdays and can provide up to two visits per day on weekends. During visits, I focus on more than just feeding and potty breaks — I make sure pets receive attention, enrichment, playtime, affection, and companionship so they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I’m especially attentive to routines, behavioral cues, and making animals feel safe and relaxed in their home environment. Safety, structure, and trust are extremely important to me when caring for animals. I have experience with large breeds, reactive dogs, cats, and small animals, so I understand the importance of reading body language, respecting boundaries, and maintaining calm, controlled interactions. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medication routines, crate rotations, leash handling, and household rules. I prioritize secure handling during walks and visits, double-check doors, gates, harnesses, and crates, and always aim to create a calm and positive environment for pets. I also believe communication is important, so I provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins to help owners feel comfortable while they’re away.
“We are glad we chose to have Heather care for our senior kitty this past weekend. Her approach to offering services through Rover was very professional. She did everything we asked, was attentive to his needs and sent lots of pictures and details about her visits with him. We plan to reach out to her for future sitter needs.”
About: I’ve had pets my entire life, including both cats and dogs, all of whom lived long, happy, and well-loved lives. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and over the years I’ve become the go-to pet sitter for friends, neighbors, and family, often being their first choice for long vacations or weekends away. I’ve provided care for a wide range of pets, from energetic puppies to older dogs who need a gentler routine. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, administering basic medications, taking dogs on daily walks, cleaning up after pets, and giving them lots of attention and affection to ensure they feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. I genuinely love spending time with animals, whether it’s tossing a ball around in the yard, relaxing with a timid cat, or keeping a consistent routine that helps pets feel secure. I always treat the pets I care for as if they were my own, as I know firsthand how important it is for pet parents to feel confident that their animals are in good hands. What sets me apart is the level of trust I’ve earned from the people I’ve worked with, my calm and attentive nature, and my genuine love for animals of all personalities and temperaments. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to adapt to your pet’s unique needs and quirks:) I have pretty open availability throughout the week since I’m home for the summer. My schedule is very flexible, so I’m able to accommodate different pet care needs, including walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. I prioritize a safe, loving environment where your pet is treated with the same care and affection you would give them yourself, so you can feel complete peace of mind while you're away.
“Emese was amazing with my 2 dogs! She came in for a drop in and took them out to the yard to pee and poop and played with them. She sent me 2 videos and lots of pictures. I will definitely be booking her again!”

“Jane was amazing! She was very flexible, communicative and available for any problems that arose. She did a great job watching my 2 cats and making sure they had enough food, water, and pets. I definitely recommend her!!!”

I will be available to care for your pets 7 days a week from 8 am-11 am and for dog walks or mid-day check in's from 11 am-2 pm Monday-Friday. Late afternoon and evening visits considered based on your pets individual needs. My background in Law Enforcement and the Military, including 5+ years of professional pet care owning my own business allow me a different perspective when watching pets. Every visit includes a security check which encompasses checking all doors and windows to ensure they are locked, checking all faucets to ensure the water was shut off. Every visit includes a Rover report card with photos. I do require a consultation or meet and greet ahead of any planned stay. I prefer to meet at your residence so you can ensure your pet warms up to me, that you're comfortable with me caring for your pets while you're away and so you can show me daily care for your pets, including food location, how much food they get, location of any and all pet supplies including a pet carrier and/or leashes. If you'd prefer to meet away from your residence, we can schedule that first, however I do require one meet and greet at your residence.
About: I have grown up caring for all kinds of animals. I have the most experience with dogs, and small animals. Most of my family pets I provided main care for. Because of this I have grown a stronger sense of patience for pets, and have learned what will help them be more successful in their day as well as mine. I still am happy to learn more about the pets individual personality, and earning their trust. Though it is not my main career path it is something I am very passionate about. I volunteered at humane societies in my past free time. Though it is not something I can continue, I hope to make up for it by working with other pet owners. Thank you I currently work from home, though it is a part time job. Walks can be done 24/7 for whatever the pet may find necessary. Pets are considered in every part of the day from walks to the trash bins and fetching mail, to meal times and what is comfortable and safe. Born and raised in here in Salem, OR. My home is in a park filled neighborhood, with many walkable paths! A large, shade filled backyard.
“Benjamin did an amazing job taking care of my 18-year-old cat Buster. He went over and above with his care of Buster , who needs medication for thyroid twice a day. He spent time with him, sent me lots of pictures and kept me up-to-date with everything that was happening. I recommend him without any hesitation at all. Thank you, Benjamin.”

Chapman Corner cat parents share their Rover experiences
Austen was awesome! He provided really detailed visit summaries with lots of pictures. We rested easy knowing that our cat was getting such wonderful care. Our area also had a power outage and he even looked up how to reset the fridge to stop the outage beeping. We would use him again in a heart beat and happily recommend him to others!
Stephanie was amazing with my cat Effie during her drop in visits. My cat is generally shy with strangers and can get feisty when overwhelmed. But, Effie seemed comfortable with Stephanie from the start. Took cues on whether play or just hanging out what vibe that day. Definitely would work with again!

Tina was a blessing!! I feel so bad leaving my cats for long trips but she eased my anxiety so much by giving thoughtful and thorough updates and lots of cute pics. She spent additional time sitting and playing with them which means so much because I know they get lonely. They’re also having problems with some outside the litter box pooping that hasn’t been easily resolved and she graciously cleaned up the messes and even left my apartment a little cleaner than she found it. Excellent service and communication!:)

Kara took such good care of our kitties and from her messages and photos I could rest assured knowing they were in her loving care while we were gone. She also helped out with other household tasks while we were gone which was super appreciated. We will definitely be booking her again! Thanks Kara!

Taylor is AMAZING. Our goofy doggie, Marigold, and high maintenance queen, Luna kitty, LOVE her. Taylor is very attentive to their needs and spends time playing with them and giving plenty of snuggles & pets. She has been a lifesaver for this fur baby mama. I'm so grateful we found her!
