About: I have had 3 dogs of my own for years that I’ve helped train and take care of alongside my family. I have also been paid for and asked to take care of my families dogs or other pets multiple times. I have had 3 cats as well, so I’m pretty well knowledgeable in both areas of care. Im working part time at the moment and have space between and after my classes to take care of whatever business and pet sitting necessary :) I am very patient and careful with dogs with knowing many temperaments are different and unique. I’ve dealt with bigger dogs so I’m not easily nervous around noisy dogs.

I try to meet each pet where they are and keep their day feeling as normal and stress-free as possible. I also have my own cat, Mango, so I know how much the little details matter. I bring that same care into every visit, whether I’m checking in on cats, caring for dogs, sending updates, or just helping your pets and home feel settled while you’re gone I’m very respectful of both your pet and your home. I make sure doors, gates, windows, food, and supplies are handled carefully, and I pay attention to the little things that help prevent stress or accidents. I also like to send updates and photos so you feel comfortable knowing how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible and help them feel secure in their own space. Whether your pet is social, shy, playful, or more independent, I’ll meet them where they are and give them care that feels patient, gentle, and trustworthy.

About: I've taken care of several types of dogs. Growing up we had a chihuahua and I was responsible for feeding, bathing, and I played a lot with him. I also pet sit my friends two labradoodles and was responsible for feeding, playing, and just watching the house for most of the day. I also had a cat and was responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning litter, and helping apply ear mite medicine when she had them. I'm currently working part time as an instructional assistant through edustaff so my schedule fluctuates depending on when I can get myself scheduled to work. About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and small animals for over 5 years and have hands-on experience with large breeds, working dogs, reactive dogs, and high-energy personalities. I currently own German Shepherds as well as two chinchillas, so I understand the importance of species-specific care, structure, enrichment, and maintaining a safe environment. I’m comfortable with crate routines, medication administration, basic training reinforcement, long walks, litter box care, feeding routines, and reading animal body language. I currently work full-time during the week, but I’m still able to provide dependable drop-in care and quality engagement for pets. I’m available for evening drop-in visits during the weekdays and can provide up to two visits per day on weekends. About: Hey pet parent! My name is Jessica. I'm here to be your pets new best friend. I have over 20 years experience caring for animals, from my own pets, 5+ years of experience as a professional pet sitter, working with police K-9's and I'm also a certified dog trainer (positive reinforcement.) I am available for drop in visits from 8 am-11 am 7 days a week and dog walks Monday-Friday from 11 am-2 pm. Late afternoon and evening visits may be available based on individual needs and can be discussed at your meet and greet. I look forward to meeting you and your pets soon. I will be available to care for your pets 7 days a week from 8 am-11 am and for dog walks or mid-day check in's from 11 am-2 pm Monday-Friday. My background in Law Enforcement and the Military, including 5+ years of professional pet care owning my own business allow me a different perspective when watching pets. Every visit includes a security check which encompasses checking all doors and windows to ensure they are locked, checking all faucets to ensure the water was shut off. Please note: this does not include any doors that are closed when I arrive. As a way to protect your privacy, if any doors are closed when I arrive they will stay closed. I can check mail if you request me to do so. If you receive any packages on your doorstep while you're away, I will bring in any packages that are addressed to you and leave them on a counter. Every visit includes a Rover report card with photos. I do require a consultation or meet and greet ahead of any planned stay. I prefer to meet at your residence so you can ensure your pet warms up to me, that you're comfortable with me caring for your pets while you're away and so you can show me daily care for your pets, including food location, how much food they get, location of any and all pet supplies including a pet carrier and/or leashes. If you'd prefer to meet away from your residence, we can schedule that first, however I do require one meet and greet at your residence.

About: I have grown up caring for all kinds of animals. I have the most experience with dogs, and small animals. Most of my family pets I provided main care for. Because of this I have grown a stronger sense of patience for pets, and have learned what will help them be more successful in their day as well as mine. I still am happy to learn more about the pets individual personality, and earning their trust. Though it is not my main career path it is something I am very passionate about. I volunteered at humane societies in my past free time. Though it is not something I can continue, I hope to make up for it by working with other pet owners. Thank you I currently work from home, though it is a part time job. Walks can be done 24/7 for whatever the pet may find necessary. Pets are considered in every part of the day from walks to the trash bins and fetching mail, to meal times and what is comfortable and safe. Born and raised in here in Salem, OR.
