Cat Sitting in Four Corners

About: Hi, my name is Kathryn and I love dogs. I grew up taking care of them and would love to meet yours. I currently have 3 dogs and a cat. I really like this job because I’m getting into better shape with the best exercise partners there are and I can’t get enough of those fur-babies :) I have been working out of my clients’ homes and my own taking care of my clients’ dogs since March 2019 - taking them on walks and giving them one-on-one attention. They enjoy cuddles and belly rubs, fetch, tug-of-war, whatever makes them happy. While I do accept last-minute bookings, I do charge a fee if there’s no time to do a meet and greet before the sitting starts. I am also very skilled at drawing and painting them, so if you’re interested in getting a portrait of them done, don’t hesitate to ask. :) I am currently working from home as a reseller and working on selling my art for a living, so I can work my primary job around any pet care I will be doing :) I will do my best to stick to whatever routine your fur babies are used to doing so they will be happy. If there is a yard for them to run in, that will be how they go outside, unless walks are necessary for their wellbeing. Letting them out is easier, but their happiness and wellbeing is most important.

About: I grew up around both cats and dogs and have been a trusted pet sitter to family and friends for years. I have experience caring for and training older puppies, as well as in caring for senior pets. I work a part time job which causes my schedule to vary by week, but I typically have afternoons and evenings available and occasionally mornings as well. I can feed and play for your pet indoors, give them any required medications. I can also take any pets for walks and play with them outdoors if you have a fenced in backyard.

About: Know what it's like to own dogs since childhood. Tell me what they love, like, and hate. Love to bring gifts for the dog(s) anytime. Also been a great house sitter and pet sitter for my mother in the past when she visited grandkids for a week in California. As far in advance as possible since I also do crowd management seasonally but haven't worked since April 1st. P.S. A page from the daily calendar for Life Hacks encouraged me to join and I do know someone on Rover.com named Stephen. He's a dog sitter, owner, and trainer. I live in a condo on the ground level with a patio and a view of Mill Creek. I'd prefer to house and/or pet watch at your place.

My own dog, Dresden, is a high energy Border Collie who keeps me on my toes, so I have plenty of experience exercising and engaging energetic dogs both physically and mentally. In addition to providing fun and exercise, I bring a strong background in safety and emergency care from my experience as a paramedic. I'm comfortable recognizing potential health concerns, providing basic first aid when appropriate, and remaining calm in unexpected situations. I've been a dedicated dog owner for nearly a decade and understand the trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care. Although I'm new to the Willamette area, I'm excited to explore it with Dresden and the dogs I care for. I treat every pup as if they were my own, with patience, attention, affection, and respect for their individual personality and routine. My goal is to make sure your dog returns home happy, well-exercised, and loved while giving you peace of mind throughout their stay. Anyone who has a pet knows that pet care doesn't exactly fit into a daily or weekly routine, it becomes your life. Pets have needs and their mind needs stimulation and attention. My dog is 10 now and with age we do eye medication twice a day and joint supplements. I think about what we can do each week, sometimes it is not much but I always my time to ensure his needs are met. I also know that some dogs have different needs; cuddles, blankets, snacks, brain games, training and socializing. The time they spend with me I will worry about their needs and do everything I can to entertain them based on your input. I have a fully fenced yard however I still find it pertinent to watch smaller pets when they are outside due to the birds of prey in the area. I live off a main road so there is some ambient noise in the house from passing cars. I do not let pets out of the front door unless they are leashed. I care for my border collie with all my heart and it kills me when I have to tell him to leave the park to go home. I want to make everyday the best day in his mind and I will do the same for your pet. We are their whole lives and we only get a short time with them, I want their day with me to feel special and happy. My goals is that one day your dog comes over and when they realize they are coming to my house they get just as excited as going to the park. I live with my life partner, Hunter, and he adores and respects dogs and they love and adore him to. We always joke that he will become a new bed for them to sleep on and sure enough they lay on him every time, it is so cute! I do not have any kids and I will ensure your pets personal space is respected.

About: I have grown up caring for all kinds of animals. I have the most experience with dogs, and small animals. Most of my family pets I provided main care for. Because of this I have grown a stronger sense of patience for pets, and have learned what will help them be more successful in their day as well as mine. I still am happy to learn more about the pets individual personality, and earning their trust. Though it is not my main career path it is something I am very passionate about. I volunteered at humane societies in my past free time. Though it is not something I can continue, I hope to make up for it by working with other pet owners. Thank you I currently work from home, though it is a part time job. Walks can be done 24/7 for whatever the pet may find necessary. Pets are considered in every part of the day from walks to the trash bins and fetching mail, to meal times and what is comfortable and safe. Born and raised in here in Salem, OR. My home is in a park filled neighborhood, with many walkable paths! A large, shade filled backyard.
