About: I’ve been around dogs most of my life and have taken care of dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me for walking, feeding, bathing, and general care. I’m comfortable with high-energy dogs that need exercise as well as more relaxed or older dogs that need a slower pace. About: Hi, my name is Kathryn and I love dogs. I grew up taking care of them and would love to meet yours. I currently have 3 dogs and a cat. I really like this job because I’m getting into better shape with the best exercise partners there are and I can’t get enough of those fur-babies :) I have been working out of my clients’ homes and my own taking care of my clients’ dogs since March 2019 - taking them on walks and giving them one-on-one attention. They enjoy cuddles and belly rubs, fetch, tug-of-war, whatever makes them happy. While I do accept last-minute bookings, I do charge a fee if there’s no time to do a meet and greet before the sitting starts. I am also very skilled at drawing and painting them, so if you’re interested in getting a portrait of them done, don’t hesitate to ask. :) I am currently working from home as a reseller and working on selling my art for a living, so I can work my primary job around any pet care I will be doing :) I will do my best to stick to whatever routine your fur babies are used to doing so they will be happy. If there is a yard for them to run in, that will be how they go outside, unless walks are necessary for their wellbeing. Letting them out is easier, but their happiness and wellbeing is most important.

About: I have had 3 dogs of my own for years that I’ve helped train and take care of alongside my family. I have also been paid for and asked to take care of my families dogs or other pets multiple times. I have had 3 cats as well, so I’m pretty well knowledgeable in both areas of care. Im working part time at the moment and have space between and after my classes to take care of whatever business and pet sitting necessary :) I am very patient and careful with dogs with knowing many temperaments are different and unique. I’ve dealt with bigger dogs so I’m not easily nervous around noisy dogs.

About: I’ve owned cats all my life, and a few dogs. I have experience volunteering at a local animal shelter, working with both cats and dogs when I was younger . I have a 4H background as well. We adopted our dog Frida 2 years ago. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom with a flexible schedule. We are home often and already own a dog. It's not much more work to add one or two into the mix. My kids love dogs and enjoy meeting new ones. We all love that owning dogs helps us to be outside more, either playing with the dogs or taking them on walks. My three children adore dogs and cats, and will give lots of love and attention. We live near parks and have a great neighborhood for walks. Dogs are allowed to free range of the house and fenced yard. They are allowed on the couches.

I know how hard it can be to say goodbye to your fur baby when you have to leave, so with no doubt, they'll be taken care of and loved the same if you were home. My pup, Moko, lives with me right now, and she's always down to make new fur friends. Pets staying at my home will always have lots of love and attention, stay hydrated, access to a fenced/private dog park, tons of play time and toys to chew. Ideally, they'll be kept on the schedule that you normally have them on, so it won't be any different when you return home. About: I grew up around both cats and dogs and have been a trusted pet sitter to family and friends for years. I have experience caring for and training older puppies, as well as in caring for senior pets. Since I was around 10 years old, my neighbors, family friends, and others trusted and relied on me to come check on their animals, feed them, walk them if desired, play with them, and give them love and attention. Starting at 12 years old, I began providing overnight house sitting and pet sitting services. I have done many different styles of in-home pet care at this point. I have done jobs from a 14+ day stay in a client's house where I was taking full care of their cat and dog, to doing a much less involved job of 3 times a day checking in and caring for an older cat for a week.
About: I am a CVT and currently work at a ER vet clinic. Since high school I have worked in the veterinary field and have many years of experience taking care of your beloved pets. Able to medicate and give injections of meds if needed. I take care of your pet as if it was my own. My current shifts are 12hr shift from 9a-9p in case that would impede on the care of your pet. I am happy try and be flexible to work out a schedule while you are gone I live in a quiet apartment and can only keep small pets or one large dog in my apartment at a time. My two dogs love playing with other dogs. I am also happy to stop by your place and provide the care in the relaxing setting of your pet's own home.
About: My first best friend as a baby, Champ, was a loving Cocker Spaniel. I have had many dogs over the years and currently am the proud Auntie of a Pit-Bull/Great Dane and a Chihuahua-both rescues. I have been a DC resident for just over a year and spend as much time with them as I can! While I work a 9-5, I have ample time in the evenings and weekends to care for your pet(s). I have 5 years professional pet-sitting experience. I have provided walks, visits, and over-night care for over 30 clients in my former residences, Phoenix and Chicago, with a private company and with Wag. Not only have I owned my own personal dogs for over 9 years now, but I also volunteer on my off time for a non profit dog rescue and I have also walked dogs at my local shelter in my free time. Dogs in my care will always be under supervision, while in the house and outside, other than while I am at work. While I am at work, I have two spare bedrooms that your dog can hang out in! I will also pay special attention to any instructions given on the care of your dogs. (Food, medicine, exercise requirements etc) I have a fully fenced back yard that not only my dogs love, but I'm sure yours will too. Again with direct supervision your dog and I can hang outside and enjoy the sunshine or play fetch, whatever they may like! I also love near a city park where I can walk your dog for their daily exercise. My husband and I work full time during the week, but we both work no more than one mile from our home, we also have a doggie camera inside our house to check in on our home while your dog is there. I live and work in a very central location in Salem, it is very convenient for drop ins and walks and is also a very convenient location for dropping off dogs for any dog boarding and day care that is requested.
