“We threw a small superbowl party at our home. Floki does not do well with guests stopping by, so we searched for near by dog sitter to watch him for the evening. We met with Jordan a couple weeks prior to dropping Floki off. He did well with him and his son. Jordan sent pictures throughout his, putting our mind to ease! The picture of our dog with his head on his son's lap was PERFECT! Like I said, he doesn't do well with strangers stopping by so this made both of us very happy receiving this photo! Floki is a very energetic dog and he was tired when he came home. Jordan took Floki for 2 long walks which was not expected but appreciated! He went above and beyond previous sitters!!! So grateful to have found him! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Oh and another thing that we must mention, he got along with the other dogs he cared for; out of the norm for Floki! We're definitely going to use him for future events.”

About: Hi, my name is Kathryn and I love dogs. I grew up taking care of them and would love to meet yours. I currently have 3 dogs and a cat. I really like this job because I’m getting into better shape with the best exercise partners there are and I can’t get enough of those fur-babies :) I have been working out of my clients’ homes and my own taking care of my clients’ dogs since March 2019 - taking them on walks and giving them one-on-one attention. They enjoy cuddles and belly rubs, fetch, tug-of-war, whatever makes them happy. While I do accept last-minute bookings, I do charge a fee if there’s no time to do a meet and greet before the sitting starts. I am also very skilled at drawing and painting them, so if you’re interested in getting a portrait of them done, don’t hesitate to ask. :) I am currently working from home as a reseller and working on selling my art for a living, so I can work my primary job around any pet care I will be doing :) I will do my best to stick to whatever routine your fur babies are used to doing so they will be happy. If there is a yard for them to run in, that will be how they go outside, unless walks are necessary for their wellbeing. My husband and I work full time during the week, but we both work no more than one mile from our home, we also have a doggie camera inside our house to check in on our home while your dog is there. I live and work in a very central location in Salem, it is very convenient for drop ins and walks and is also a very convenient location for dropping off dogs for any dog boarding and day care that is requested. I am at home all day for the entire week so I am able to keep a good schedule for my fury clients. I don’t have a problem with med or potty schedules. I listen to their needs. I watch for cues to hunger or need to potty. I feed and walk my pets or clients pets. When they need bathed I handle that as well. Medications in my house are no problem at all as over the years I’ve learned a lot about injectable and oral medications. I’m not the master for certain but I try my best to be your pets next best friend while I am with them.

Dogs and cats tend to like me, which is a plus! I work at a bank full time but looking to make extra money in my free time. I'm mostly available evenings after work and weekends! I work Mon-Fri but I'm available in the evenings after 5:30 pm. I have open availability on weekends at the moment. I have a lot of experience watching dogs in the past, whether it be for friends/family or clients on Rover. Recently, I've been doing drop ins for cats and I really enjoy it! When it comes to taking care of your pet in your own home, I think it best to tell me what needs to be done during the visit. Where food/supplies are, if they need to be put in a kennel before I leave, what their habits are like and what to look out for if anything. Everyone has different rules when it comes to their animals and I will be 100% respectful of your home and property.
About: As a hiker and an athlete myself, I am more than happy to do longer walks, hikes, or even runs if that’s what your dog needs. I have spent pretty much my whole life owning dogs as well as volunteering at the local shelter and walking other dogs back home. I’m currently looking for a full time job, so my schedule is up in the air for now. Until that happens I’m pretty open on time, though! I have been heavily involved with my two dogs back home and am happy to walk, play ball, feed and take care of pretty much anything else you might need!

“Kathrine is an AMAZING sitter! I went out of town for 5 days and left my pup with her at her home. I immediately felt comfortable leaving her there when I dropped her off. She sent pics, videos, and updated me on all things (eating, pooping, etc.). Her dog, Ophelia, was the sweetest companion and I could tell her and my dog were besties from the pics she sent! She invited my pup and me to come over for a meet-and-greet before the trip stay so that Skerby could experience being in her home and become comfortable with it. She listened intently as I explained his routine. It was obvious that she knows dogs and is comfortable having them around. She was very affectionate toward Skerby and was always very kind to me. I appreciated her enthusiasm, flexibility (I had to drop off our dog a little earlier than I'd planned and she was very accommodating), and experience. About: I have fostered over fifty dogs and cats for the SPCA of Northern Nevada, and fostered my cat Chandler as a kitten before adopting him. I have an open schedule with a lot of daily availability and my own vehicle, and can assist with pet care on weekends and weekdays. I am patient and loving to all pets, and have a strong understanding of the needs of different breeds of dogs and cats at different life stages. I live with my partner who has a year of experience working at a dog day care with a variety of pups, and has volunteered with me as a cat socializer as well.
“We threw a small superbowl party at our home. Floki does not do well with guests stopping by, so we searched for near by dog sitter to watch him for the evening. We met with Jordan a couple weeks prior to dropping Floki off. He did well with him and his son. Jordan sent pictures throughout his, putting our mind to ease! The picture of our dog with his head on his son's lap was PERFECT! Like I said, he doesn't do well with strangers stopping by so this made both of us very happy receiving this photo! Floki is a very energetic dog and he was tired when he came home. Jordan took Floki for 2 long walks which was not expected but appreciated! He went above and beyond previous sitters!!! So grateful to have found him! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Oh and another thing that we must mention, he got along with the other dogs he cared for; out of the norm for Floki! We're definitely going to use him for future events.”

“This was our first time boarding Ginny with someone who wasn’t family or close friends, so I was definitely nervous. Dezarae was so great and sent daily updates with photos and videos without us having to ask, which meant a lot. Ginny can have some separation anxiety with me and my partner, but the consistent updates (and little details about how she was doing, especially with crate time) really helped ease my mind. Ginny clearly had the best time. She got comfortable with Dezarae’s dogs quickly and loved being part of their routine. We also booked pretty last minute and she was very flexible and accommodating. Ginny came home happily exhausted in the best way. We would absolutely book with her again.”
