“Hannah was just wonderful! She communicated well, took excellent care of my pups and left me house exactly as expected. I would recommend her and will definitely be using her again!”

“Stefanie was amazing! Our Mini Australian Shepherd was well cared for and continual communication with photos put us at ease. We would highly recommend Stefanie for pet sitting services!”

“Amy did a super job taking care of my two Yorkshire dogs. She sent me pictures each day and let me know how they were doing. I appreciate they were able to stay at home and play each day in their own yard. Amy also brought in my mail and a package that was delivered and let me know it arrived. It was great to have her services so I didn't have any concerns while I was away. I highly recommend her.”

About: I have cared for both small dogs and medium sized dogs. Have implemented special diets (Farmer's Dog) given medications through food or a treat. Assisted in foster care. Can follow leash and harness preferences and always have poop bags on the ready. I have slept beside puppies who are needy throughout the night. I am a full time K-12 art teacher so I would be available for any pet care services mostly on the weekends and few selected nights throughout the week. I would stay in the areas of the home that the pet is residing and or whichever areas that the client feels comfortable with. Example being the living room or dining room.
“Brooke is the best! We’ve booked with her many times and she always takes the best care of our dog. Her love of animals makes us feel our pet is safe and loved while we’re away. I highly recommend Brooke!”

About: I’ve had pets since I was 7, trained my first dog at 3 months to sit, paw, lay down, and use the doggy door. For about 5 years I had 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a bird who were all loved *nearly* equally. As they have got older, I have experience with senior dogs and cats as well as pups. I am a sophomore at DePaul University in Chicago and I volunteer at a local no-kill animal shelter/adoption center, PAWS Chicago, where I socialize and care for puppies and kittens. I am a college student currently home for the summer so I have loads of downtime to care for pups! For walks and house visits, I am available after 8am any day of the week. In any new environment, I approach new animals calmly and slowly to gauge their feelings or stress-level to earn trust. I can leash dogs with ease for walks and cleanup any mess they may have made. If needed, I can crate before leaving or complete feedings/give medicine if given instructions.
“Kim was great with our new puppy. She took care of him all day and night for us and sent us pictures. He was very happy when we got home and seemed to have so much fun with her.”

“Great first time experience with longer term house sitting (11 days)! Expectations were clear and communicated at the beginning. Our doggos are not used to being left alone for longer periods of time and Mariela was responsive and understanding when we had concerns. Our flights were delayed by an extra day and she was easy to work with to extend her stay until we got home. Loved all the pictures she sent as well, really helped us feel at ease while away.”

About: I had a dog as a child. I have had dogs for over 35 years. They are great company and a great addition to any family. I am retired. My time would be totally devoted to spending time with your pet(s). I look forward to giving you the comfort that your pets are well-cared for while you are not home. My pets at home are pretty spoiled. They are not crated and we play inside and outside. Whatever the owners require is what I will do. Unfortunately, my most recent dog died of cancer. I miss her; but look forward to taking good care of other people’s pets.
“If I could give Sabrina more than 5 stars, I would. She cared for our four cats and one dog over a 16-day span while we were abroad in Japan, and saying she went above and beyond would be an understatement. Our pet care routine is very detailed and specific, but Sabrina followed every instruction to the letter—with love, diligence, and an incredible level of care that left us completely at ease the entire time we were away. From feeding the cats their two kibble meals and one wet food meal daily, to preparing our dog’s two meals of mixed kibble and wet food perfectly each time, Sabrina never missed a beat. She administered oral, liquid medication to one of our cats with great skill and consistency, and properly mixed our dog’s medication into her food so subtly that it never disrupted her eating habits. She even cleaned and changed all seven of the water dishes every other day as instructed, which we know is no small task with that many animals. She maintained exceptional food safety by using the dedicated pet sponge to clean up after every meal—something that truly speaks to her attention to detail and respect for our home. Speaking of which, she respected all our house rules and kept the home in pristine condition throughout her stay. Sabrina also took on our cat's weight loss play-regimen with enthusiasm and dedication, making sure all our cats stayed active daily. Thanks to her, the cats either maintained or continued their healthy weight loss, depending on their needs. When one of them (who tends to lose weight when stressed) dropped a bit too much, she thoughtfully provided extra treats throughout the day—helping her gain back just the right amount of weight by the time we returned. Two of our cats have long hair and require regular brushing to avoid matting. Sabrina not only kept up with their grooming schedule, but did such a great job that one of them, who has difficulties grooming himself, had minimal matting upon our return—an incredible improvement from what we've seen before. Despite balancing her schooling and a part-time job, Sabrina made it a priority to be home with the pets most of the day, every day—just like they’re used to. This was especially important for our more emotionally sensitive cat, who is prone to stress-related paw sores or excessive grooming. Thanks to Sabrina’s consistency, care, and timely medication, he showed no signs of stress-related behaviors at all. Her presence was clearly therapeutic. She also mastered our household’s delicate pre-feeding routine. When the cats would get a little too riled up, she calmly de-escalated the situation using a “time-out” method that worked so well, we’re continuing it ourselves now. It was genius and exactly what they needed. As for our dog—she was in heaven! Sabrina walked her three times a day plus a final outing before bed, making sure she never went too long without exercise or a potty break. We could tell from the photos just how happy she was. Oh yes—the photos. Every day, Sabrina sent us detailed reports of the pets’ activities, moods, and any small hiccups she faced, along with how she handled them. She also sent dozens of photos—candid moments, nap times, play sessions, walks—you name it. It brought us so much peace and joy to see them thriving in her care. When we returned, we were met with an immaculate home and very happy pets. In fact, every single one of them now runs up to greet her whenever she visits, including our one antisocial cat who typically avoids everyone. That kind of bond can’t be faked—it’s clear they truly love and trust her, just as we do. Our trip to Japan simply wouldn’t have been possible without Sabrina. Her dedication, responsibility, and compassion gave us complete confidence while we were away. We trust her deeply and genuinely respect and appreciate the person she is. Without question, we will continue to rely on her for any and all future travel plans. Sabrina is not just a pet sitter—she’s an extended part of our family now.”

About: I've always had a love for animals. People began trusting me with their furry family members in 2017 (I was around 16 at the time). I'm comfortable with some messes and helping pets that may need some extra assistance. I grew up in the Endless Mountains of Sullivan County so I don't mind traversing outside with your pet if that's what they enjoy. I am also always up for snuggling on the couch with a book or show as well if that's more your pet's vibe. I am currently a teacher in New Hope, PA. This makes it hard for me to assist with pet care during the school day, unless your pet is stable on their own for around 9 hours. I do not currently have any pets of my own. As an empath, I always prioritize trust and safety. I always try to make animals in my care as comfortable as possible. If that means allowing some extra fur on my bedsheets, or sitting alone on a chair while they lay near a distant window, so be it! My main goal is always to keep your pet as happy and healthy as possible in the best way for them.
About: Hi! I’m Olivia, a lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of experience caring for pets of all kinds. I currently have two dogs and two cats of my own and have spent years helping care for pets belonging to family, friends, and neighbors. Beyond dogs and cats, I have 3 years of horse care experience and 5 years caring for reptiles, birds, fish, and other household pets. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or just needs extra patience and attention, I’ll care for them like they’re my own. I believe every pet deserves personalized care, consistency, and lots of love while their owner is away. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and also have a passion for keeping spaces clean and organized, so you can feel confident your pets and home are in great hands. This summer, I have very open availability and a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide attentive care throughout the day and week for your pets. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, overnight stays, and pet sitting in your home on most days and times. The only dates I am unavailable are June 14th–June 20th. Outside of those dates, I’m happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pets receive consistent, reliable care. In the fall, I’ll be starting my junior year at Temple University, so my availability will become more limited, but I’ll continue updating my schedule and communicating clearly about availability. I care for pets in my client’s home the same way I care for my own pets—with patience, attention, consistency, and lots of love. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment, so I do my best to stick closely to their normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), litter box care, potty breaks, and any other instructions you provide. Building trust with both pets and owners is very important to me. I know every pet has a different personality and comfort level, whether they’re energetic, shy, senior, or need extra patience. I take the time to help pets feel comfortable while making sure they are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I also take pride in being respectful of your home and keeping things clean, tidy, and exactly how you left them so you can have peace of mind while you’re gone.
“We are new to the Northeast and planned a trip out of the country for our anniversary. Dustin was very responsive from the beginning. He came to the house prior to meet our pups and get a scope of the house. He kept us informed of their well being with pictures and even made Henry's birthday special while we were gone. He also took great care of the house. Dustin will definitely be our first reserve on future travels. We know both the pups and the house are in great hands.”

About: Hey all! Wonderful to meet you. My name is Nicole and I am 30 years old. I was born and raised in North Wales, PA and have been providing pet care to my community since I have been able to walk around the block by myself! I have always had family dogs of my own. A Shetland Sheepdog named Shelby, and we still have our Nala bear with us who is a rescue mix, and we have had her since I was a junior in high school. I've branched out over the years. I used to volunteer at special equestrians, taking care of the horses and their stalls. My first job out of high school was at a pet store. I provided care to all the animals even down to the mice. I administered medications orally, cleaned their living spaces, and fed them. I own a fish tank, and I used to own a bearded dragon. I have provided cat care as well. I have a lot of experience in and outside of Rover. When I lived in Philly about 7 years ago I signed up for Rover and had watched quite a few dogs through the app as well as watching dogs just through recommendations. I moved out and ended up deactivating my account. I decided to come back on here, and I am looking forward to meeting you! I currently work 5 hours 5 days a week from 12:30-5:30. We can discuss more details on care if you are interested I would love to have a meet and greet before service starts so we can go over exactly how you’d like me to care for your pet.
About: I have taken care of many dogs and cats before. Pets are man’s best friend and I believe they deserve getting excellent care. Dogs and cats of all breeds, shapes and sizes will get above and beyond good quality care. I do have a full time job, my hours are Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM, and I have church obligations on Sunday mornings, but I am happy to coordinate availability outside of those times. I work a consistent weekday schedule from 7:00am–3:30pm, which allows me to provide reliable evening care, walks, and overnight house sitting. I am also available most weekends and can accommodate advance scheduling. I focus on building trust with both pets and owners by maintaining clear communication, consistent routines, and attentive supervision. I respect each pet’s personality and adjust care to their individual needs.
“Caitlin was fantastic! Our pets absolutely loved her, she shared plenty of photos and updates during the short stayl Couldn't ask for more and we'll definitely be using her again.”

Amy is very diligent and caring for our fur babies. We received lots of picture updates and was able to sort out any questions on the fly the first day of the schedule. The dogs were all relaxed and happy when we arrived home. Look forward to working with Amy again in the future.

Daisy is such a lovely person and was so kind to my dogs. Both took to her right away. She followed feeding and medication schedule with no issues. She also sent us photos and checked in every day. My dogs love her and we are so appreciative of her taking care of them with great care. I will be using Daisy in the future and highly recommend her. Maria B

Kim is great! She stayed at our house and watched our dog, Finn, for four days while we were out of town. Kim sent us photos and updates the whole time, which made us feel really at ease. She was very responsive and took wonderful care of Finn and the house. We would highly recommend Kim’s services and will definitely book her again in the future!

We just had Sarah watch our two dogs in our home for the second time and she was absolutely fantastic! One of our dogs recently hurt his leg and she went above and beyond administering his medication, walking him on a leash in our backyard, and keeping a close eye on him. Would 1000% recommend Sarah!

We went away for a week and had Nicole take care of our dog Teddy. He is very shy and not used to strangers. He warmed up to her immediately and they had a great week. She sent us pictures of him and kept us aware of what he was doing each day. The house was perfectly kept and I really felt confident being away and not worrying about the dog or our home. I would absolutely use Nicole again. She was responsible and reliable.
Sean was very professional and always responded within the day when we had a question or needed something during our almost-5-week trip. Sean stayed in our home and did everything we asked while we were away, including caring for our pup (who seemed to love Sean!), watering plants we specified, and bringing in mail and packages. The house was tidy upon our return and, most importantly, our dog seemed happy and well cared for.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Gwynedd Club on Rover is $44.4 per night (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of June 2026, there are 5,824 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Gwynedd Club. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Gwynedd Club walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Gwynedd Club maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Gwynedd Club choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Gwynedd Club. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
