About: About Me: Your Dog's Next Best Friend 🐾 All my life, my world has revolved around four-legged family members. I’ve been caring for dogs since before I could even walk, and I’ve long been the go-to pet sitter for my entire family. I truly understand that every dog has a unique personality and their own special way of showing affection. For me, pet sitting isn't just a job—I love spending quality time building trust, learning your dog's unique signals, and making sure they feel safe and loved while you're away. Services I Offer Whether you need a quick check-in or full-day care, I've got you covered: Drop-In Visits & Feedings: Keeping your pup's routine perfectly on track. All-Day Pet Sitting: Dedicated, full-day companionship and care. Adventure Walks (My Specialty!): Perfect for high-energy dogs or pups who love to explore. 🌲 My Specialty: The "Daily Adventure" Walk If your dog loves the great outdoors, they will love staying with me! I walk my own dog between 3 to 6 miles a day, exploring local trails and discovering new environments. I believe that changing up walking routes keeps a dog mentally stimulated and deeply engaged. By turning a standard bathroom break into a fresh adventure, your pup stays excited, happy, and pleasantly tired out by the time you get home. Ready to level up your fur-baby's daily activity? I’m the reliable, active, and loving sitter you’ve been looking for. Let’s connect and chat about your pup's routine! I currently work part time so there is plenty of time in my schedule to take care of your fur baby! I can walk and feed your pets in the morning and will be back in time to take care of them in the evening! Hey pet parents! I’m an active, outdoor-loving pet sitter who specializes in turning boring workdays into mini-adventures for your pup. If you have a dog with energy to burn, I’m your person! From brisk cardio walks to interactive playtime that keeps their minds sharp, I make sure your dog gets the physical exercise and mental stimulation they need to be calm and relaxed by the time you get home. I offer dedicated dog walking and pet sitting services tailored entirely to your routine. I understand safety is a big concern for every pet owner. I always include real-time photo updates during every visit. If there is ever an emergency I will always call and let the owner know. I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own.
“Amy did a super job taking care of my two Yorkshire dogs. She sent me pictures each day and let me know how they were doing. I appreciate they were able to stay at home and play each day in their own yard. Amy also brought in my mail and a package that was delivered and let me know it arrived. It was great to have her services so I didn't have any concerns while I was away. I highly recommend her.”

About: Hi! I’m Olivia, a lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of experience caring for pets of all kinds. I currently have two dogs and two cats of my own and have spent years helping care for pets belonging to family, friends, and neighbors. Beyond dogs and cats, I have 3 years of horse care experience and 5 years caring for reptiles, birds, fish, and other household pets. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or just needs extra patience and attention, I’ll care for them like they’re my own. I believe every pet deserves personalized care, consistency, and lots of love while their owner is away. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and also have a passion for keeping spaces clean and organized, so you can feel confident your pets and home are in great hands. This summer, I have very open availability and a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide attentive care throughout the day and week for your pets. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, overnight stays, and pet sitting in your home on most days and times. The only dates I am unavailable are June 14th–June 20th. Outside of those dates, I’m happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pets receive consistent, reliable care. In the fall, I’ll be starting my junior year at Temple University, so my availability will become more limited, but I’ll continue updating my schedule and communicating clearly about availability. I care for pets in my client’s home the same way I care for my own pets—with patience, attention, consistency, and lots of love. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment, so I do my best to stick closely to their normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), litter box care, potty breaks, and any other instructions you provide. Building trust with both pets and owners is very important to me. I know every pet has a different personality and comfort level, whether they’re energetic, shy, senior, or need extra patience. I take the time to help pets feel comfortable while making sure they are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I also take pride in being respectful of your home and keeping things clean, tidy, and exactly how you left them so you can have peace of mind while you’re gone.
“Always such a great caretaker for our animals. They have provided so much help with last minute assistance with our animals. TreDerica is incredibly communicative and has always shared so many pictures with us while we are away. Will happily book multiple times !”

About: I have cared for both small dogs and medium sized dogs. Have implemented special diets (Farmer's Dog) given medications through food or a treat. Assisted in foster care. Can follow leash and harness preferences and always have poop bags on the ready. I have slept beside puppies who are needy throughout the night. I am a full time K-12 art teacher so I would be available for any pet care services mostly on the weekends and few selected nights throughout the week. I would stay in the areas of the home that the pet is residing and or whichever areas that the client feels comfortable with. Example being the living room or dining room.
“Bill was great with the boys. We can tell that they were very happy from the photos he sent. He took good care of the house. We will be booking him again.”

“Taylor was great. She was punctual, considerate, good with our pup, thoughtful (she sent pics of Bear while I was in the hospital),and very neat. She has our unconditional support recommendation.”

“I can't recommend Sarah enough! She was amazing to our fur babies and honestly Winnie was totally spoiled with picnics and play dates while we were away. I hope we can have her back with us for our next trip!!”

“It was such a lovely experience—everything went so smoothly. This was my first time having a dog sitter come to the house, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Levi was so excited to see Dustin, which said everything. You can tell he genuinely loves dogs. Overall, a fantastic experience!”

“Angelica was great with our large, high-energy dog. She was in constant communication with us throughout the weekend, and took our dog on multiple long walks throughout the day. She is so nice and someone you want to leave your dog with! We will definitely book again, she took great care of our dog!!!”

“Dana is smart, kind, and responsible. I was grateful to be able to leave my dog in his care! He spent the entire weekend just taking care of my dog -- what a lucky pup!”

“Brian and Georgette are terrific house and pet sitters...they communicate well (just enough, not too much), took amazing care of our dog and left the house in great shape, just as we left it. We look forward to future opportunities to have them back.”

About: I’ve had pets since I was 7, trained my first dog at 3 months to sit, paw, lay down, and use the doggy door. For about 5 years I had 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a bird who were all loved *nearly* equally. As they have got older, I have experience with senior dogs and cats as well as pups. I am a sophomore at DePaul University in Chicago and I volunteer at a local no-kill animal shelter/adoption center, PAWS Chicago, where I socialize and care for puppies and kittens. I am a college student currently home for the summer so I have loads of downtime to care for pups! For walks and house visits, I am available after 8am any day of the week. In any new environment, I approach new animals calmly and slowly to gauge their feelings or stress-level to earn trust. I can leash dogs with ease for walks and cleanup any mess they may have made. If needed, I can crate before leaving or complete feedings/give medicine if given instructions.
“Brooke is the best! We’ve booked with her many times and she always takes the best care of our dog. Her love of animals makes us feel our pet is safe and loved while we’re away. I highly recommend Brooke!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Gwynedd Valley
Amy is very diligent and caring for our fur babies. We received lots of picture updates and was able to sort out any questions on the fly the first day of the schedule. The dogs were all relaxed and happy when we arrived home. Look forward to working with Amy again in the future.

McKayla took wonderful care of my dog Ricky and cat Sequoia. She sent lots of great pictures and kept me updated which helped me relax and enjoy my short vacation. I think Ricky fell in love with her! 😍 I am happy to provide a review for this lovely pet sitter. 🐶😺

We just had Sarah watch our two dogs in our home for the second time and she was absolutely fantastic! One of our dogs recently hurt his leg and she went above and beyond administering his medication, walking him on a leash in our backyard, and keeping a close eye on him. Would 1000% recommend Sarah!

We went away for a week and had Nicole take care of our dog Teddy. He is very shy and not used to strangers. He warmed up to her immediately and they had a great week. She sent us pictures of him and kept us aware of what he was doing each day. The house was perfectly kept and I really felt confident being away and not worrying about the dog or our home. I would absolutely use Nicole again. She was responsible and reliable.

FAQs for House Sitting - Gwynedd Valley
Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Gwynedd Valley on Rover is $54.56 per night (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of June 2026, there are 5,850 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Gwynedd Valley. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Gwynedd Valley walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Gwynedd Valley maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Gwynedd Valley choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
