On the day of the sit she showed up right on time and settled in before we had to leave, so the puppies would get used to her being in the house. During the next few days she took wonderful care of our furbabies. She played with them and cuddled with them when they were moping and was persistent about trying to get them to eat. Pretty soon they were following her around everywhere. She sent us a lot of pictures of them and the house was immaculately clean when we got back. I am experienced with administering oral medications, managing leash-reactive dogs on walks, and handling standard crate and feeding routines. I keep detailed notes on each pet's needs and quirks, and I always have your vet's information on hand in case of an emergency. You will never have to wonder how your dog is doing, because I am happy to send updates throughout a visit. I am available for early morning visits and again toward the end of the workday and into the evening, which suits pet parents who need care before or after their own workday. Midday visits may be possible with advance notice. I have some weekend availability as well; just message me and we will coordinate. Safety Your pet's safety comes first. Dogs stay leashed and harnessed any time we are outside, including in shared hallways, elevators, and lobbies, since neighbors and other dogs can appear around a corner without warning. I check the weather before every walk and adjust: short routes and shaded paths in the heat, and less time outside in the cold. Before the first visit, I make sure your vet's information, any medications, and other specifics are written down or saved in the Rover app for easy reference. We can go over detailed instructions at the meet and greet or by message beforehand. If anything seems wrong, you will hear from me immediately. Trust I work full time in HR, so confidentiality and the careful handling of sensitive information are things I take seriously. I treat your keys, door codes, and home with that same standard of care. Keys are never labeled with an address or unit number, and they are stored securely in my home when not in use. You will receive photos and an update with every visit. I never bring anyone along, and I never share photos of your pet publicly without asking first. If my plans change, you will hear about it early rather than at the last minute. Environment In your home, I stick to the areas you tell me to use and leave everything as I found it, including lights, doors, and the thermostat. I also pick up after your pet and tidy anything we have used before I leave.

Brittany did 2 night house/dog sitting for my senior blind dog. She was very nice, communicative, and sent photos - no complaints here! One thing I really appreciated: there is a large gap in the day between feedings so informed her a head of time that she may leave for a bit like 1-4 hrs if needed for errands, appointments, etc (she did not ask! I came out with this and usually tell sitters this). I just dont want my dog alone all day and night as I work from home and am always here, and I do not want too much in and out or just walk ins. Closer to the scheduled sitting, she kindly let me know she would need to step out briefly which I confirmed was still fine. Without me asking her to do so, she messaged me when she left with expected time of return and messaged me when she officially returned
