I have spent 12 years caring for my family dog and now my own, along with regular walks, drop-ins, and overnight care for the pets of neighbors, friends, and family. I am comfortable with dogs of every size. Millie, the Bernese Mountain Dog in my photos, is my boyfriend's dog and lives at his house, but I walk and care for her often. At over 100 pounds, so I can handle larger dogs who may pull on walls. I am experienced with administering oral medications, managing leash-reactive dogs on walks, and handling standard crate and feeding routines. I keep detailed notes on each pet's needs and quirks, and I always have your vet's information on hand in case of an emergency. Trust I work full time in HR, so confidentiality and the careful handling of sensitive information are things I take seriously. I treat your keys, door codes, and home with that same standard of care. Keys are never labeled with an address or unit number, and they are stored securely in my home when not in use. You will receive photos and an update with every visit. I never bring anyone along, and I never share photos of your pet publicly without asking first. If my plans change, you will hear about it early rather than at the last minute. Environment In your home, I stick to the areas you tell me to use and leave everything as I found it, including lights, doors, and the thermostat. Outdoor tether time is always supervised and only offered with your approval. For walks and drop-in visits, I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walks, and home security. We’ll also go over any triggers, escape tendencies, or other concerns so I know what to watch for. You’ll receive photos and updates, and your pet will get plenty of attention, patience, and care.

About: While I've had dogs for 8+ years, I have learned the importance of training and instructing animals. In the past, I have trained dogs to understand commands such as sit, stand, lie down, paw, and many more. Not only have I focused on training, but I also recognize the importance of exerting energy in which I can play fetch with dogs or even run with them. While I am in classes, I will have plenty of time throughout the days and most nights to watch, walk, and care for your animal. When it comes to hours or even a few minutes, there is always a way to work taking care of your pet into my schedule. The middle of the days are usually harder for me since I am in class, but other than that, I have pretty much open availability. In my own personal home, It would be hard for me to house an animal considering my roommates have both a dog and a cat. I wouldn't want any animal to be reactive so I would have to visit rather than bring to my home. I am more than willing to travel to a destination to care for your animal. I am also able to walk your animal in any area deemed fit and safe for both the animal and myself.

Brittany did 2 night house/dog sitting for my senior blind dog. She was very nice, communicative, and sent photos - no complaints here! One thing I really appreciated: there is a large gap in the day between feedings so informed her a head of time that she may leave for a bit like 1-4 hrs if needed for errands, appointments, etc (she did not ask! I came out with this and usually tell sitters this). I just dont want my dog alone all day and night as I work from home and am always here, and I do not want too much in and out or just walk ins. Closer to the scheduled sitting, she kindly let me know she would need to step out briefly which I confirmed was still fine. Without me asking her to do so, she messaged me when she left with expected time of return and messaged me when she officially returned
Kim was amazing with our 2 dogs, one a puppy, while we were away for 2 weeks! She stayed in constant contact with us, sending daily pictures and updates. We even had to troubleshoot a few situations, and Kim was super flexible when it came to managing our spirited dogs! Tracy is amazing! We had to go to West Virginia for the weekend and I didn’t have to worry one bit about our pups getting the best care! Not only did she feed them and let them out, she took time to do some training / games with them and even taught them new things! She was very attentive; sent lots of pictures and videos! Also, when the girls were playing one of them got hurt. She took super good care of her by keeping an eye on it and washed her face daily to ensure no infection! Not only did she take super good care of the pups, we came home to a perfectly maintained home! She did all of the dishes, mopped the floors (since it was snowing and there was salt and marks all over) and even replaced our milk because she used it! We didn't even require any of these things! To say Tracy is awesome is an understatement! We will definitely be using her again!
We just had Sarah watch our two dogs in our home for the second time and she was absolutely fantastic! One of our dogs recently hurt his leg and she went above and beyond administering his medication, walking him on a leash in our backyard, and keeping a close eye on him. Would 1000% recommend Sarah!
