I had originally booked Austin with Tyler for one week but due to housing issues I had to extend his stay. I actually had to extend Austin's stay a few times and Tyler was always happy and willing to house Austin for as long as we needed. Tyler let me come visit Austin periodically since I missed him so much, and every time I visited Austin looked great and seemed truly happy there. I will 10/10 rebook with Tyler! Kirby is a senior dog with puppy energy, not everyone knows how to love on him. Well Katherine and her family did and the pics she sent showed him living his best life on his vacation from his humans…lol And what warmed my heart mist is when I picked jim up, Katherine told me she washed his bed. One of the cats has been the only pet in the house for years. The other two are rehomed (due to the death of their owner). One of the two has had a hard time adjusting. “Fozia’s care was Lavender’s first boarding experience, and Fozia put in an incredible amount of effort to make sure that Lavender was well taken care of. The way that Fozia introduced Lavender to her other cats, provided important socialization and was always done under supervision. She also gave Lavender space to be alone, both for her meals and for her comfort. Over the course of Lavender’s stay, Fozia’s cat-friendly environment allowed Lavender to begin interacting with, and then playing, with the other cats. Fozia also took very good care of Lavender’s medical needs, and was very thorough about making sure that I knew she’d gotten her eye drops every day. She pampered Lavender with a lot of treats and affection throughout her stay, making sure she ate and drank enough. She also did the incredible work of putting Lavender back in her cat backpack when she was ready to be picked up—Lavender was very happy with Fozia, and didn’t want to leave!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 11. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and LOVE their dogs. I'm at school so my dad takes care of my dog when I am away. When I get home I take my dog on a walk around outside my house. We are mostly free on everyday. I have a friendly dog named Riley, He likes to play with other dogs. We do not have a fence but we have a lease holder so your dog stays safe in our care. We allow dogs to be on beds and couches.

About: It wasn't until 2012 when I rented a home with a fenced yard that I adopted my first canine companion. Prior to that time, I always lived with cats and was the friend people thought of when they needed someone to do house and pet-sitting. I sat with quite a few small dogs, as well as a giant pit bull named Miles and a sweet special needs senior lab named Boogie. In my rural home on 3 acres are two 20 pound terriers named Jack and Sadie. They do not have a fenced yard to run around in, but always get at least three good walks each day (locally, on trails, dog parks). They're extremely bonded and are good with other small dogs and cats.

About: I used to have a Shih-tzu named Eris who was a very sweet girl with lots of energy. I currently look after a French Bulldog from time to time who I absolutely love. I like working with small dogs/lap dogs but I can work with bigger dogs too. I work from home, and I have plenty of time to play with your dog or take them on walks. I spend most of my day ar my desk, and I would welcome the extra encouragement to go outside and take the dog for a walk. I live with two other family members who love dogs, so your dog will never go without attention. If your dog is small, then I will happily let them sit on my bed while I work, and I'll reach over to give them pets whenever they want. A Shetland Sheepdog named Shelby, and we still have our Nala bear with us who is a rescue mix, and we have had her since I was a junior in high school. I've branched out over the years. I used to volunteer at special equestrians, taking care of the horses and their stalls. My first job out of high school was at a pet store. I provided care to all the animals even down to the mice. I administered medications orally, cleaned their living spaces, and fed them. I own a fish tank, and I used to own a bearded dragon. I have provided cat care as well. I have a lot of experience in and outside of Rover. When I lived in Philly about 7 years ago I signed up for Rover and had watched quite a few dogs through the app as well as watching dogs just through recommendations. “It was our first time booking with Ryan for a two-night stay for our dog, Penny. He provided daily updates with pictures and a video and it was so wonderful to see how she was doing.
