About: I used to have a Shih-tzu named Eris who was a very sweet girl with lots of energy. I currently look after a French Bulldog from time to time who I absolutely love. I like working with small dogs/lap dogs but I can work with bigger dogs too. I work from home, and I have plenty of time to play with your dog or take them on walks. I spend most of my day ar my desk, and I would welcome the extra encouragement to go outside and take the dog for a walk. I live with two other family members who love dogs, so your dog will never go without attention. If your dog is small, then I will happily let them sit on my bed while I work, and I'll reach over to give them pets whenever they want. Larger dogs are welcome to lie in a dog bed by my desk, or downstairs on the couch with me.

About: I have had dogs since birth. My most recent girl passed away a year ago, but I am very experienced with both care and training. I am a nurse who started Rover due to being in between jobs because of my own ongoing medical care. Currently I am employed, but had too much fun on Rover! I was born and raised in North Wales, PA and have been providing pet care to my community since I have been able to walk around the block by myself! I have always had family dogs of my own. A Shetland Sheepdog named Shelby, and we still have our Nala bear with us who is a rescue mix, and we have had her since I was a junior in high school. I've branched out over the years. I used to volunteer at special equestrians, taking care of the horses and their stalls. My first job out of high school was at a pet store. I provided care to all the animals even down to the mice. I administered medications orally, cleaned their living spaces, and fed them. I own a fish tank, and I used to own a bearded dragon. I have provided cat care as well. I have a lot of experience in and outside of Rover. When I lived in Philly about 7 years ago I signed up for Rover and had watched quite a few dogs through the app as well as watching dogs just through recommendations. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
