“Amy did a super job taking care of my two Yorkshire dogs. She sent me pictures each day and let me know how they were doing. I appreciate they were able to stay at home and play each day in their own yard. Amy also brought in my mail and a package that was delivered and let me know it arrived. It was great to have her services so I didn't have any concerns while I was away. I highly recommend her.”

“I cannot express to you the patience and care Sara took to care for my highly anxious fur babies! My dogs were in shock to not have me there, but Sara patiently won them over with slow, quiet steps. She kept me informed about every angle of progress. The most important thing about Sara was her ability to calmly let my girls get used to her presence, and I was kept informed whether something she did worked or not. If one thing didn't work, she was right back to try another way to gain their trust. Sara made my trip (for a funeral) less painful and I will ABSOLUTELY ask her to watch my babies again!!! She also took fantastic care of my house!!”

“Stefanie was absolutely amazing! She was super flexible with some last minute changes and took excellent care of our menagerie of pets. We are looking forward to booking with her again in the near future.”

About: I have cared for both small dogs and medium sized dogs. Have implemented special diets (Farmer's Dog) given medications through food or a treat. Assisted in foster care. Can follow leash and harness preferences and always have poop bags on the ready. I have slept beside puppies who are needy throughout the night. I am a full time K-12 art teacher so I would be available for any pet care services mostly on the weekends and few selected nights throughout the week. I would stay in the areas of the home that the pet is residing and or whichever areas that the client feels comfortable with. Example being the living room or dining room.

“Bev was super attentive to our pups!! She was also very communicative, sending us updates and photos daily of what the dogs were up to and responding quickly when we had questions. She really took great care of our dogs and we will be using her anytime we need a dog sitter. She's part of the family now! She's the best!!”
“We are new to the Northeast and planned a trip out of the country for our anniversary. Dustin was very responsive from the beginning. He came to the house prior to meet our pups and get a scope of the house. He kept us informed of their well being with pictures and even made Henry's birthday special while we were gone. He also took great care of the house. Dustin will definitely be our first reserve on future travels. We know both the pups and the house are in great hands.”

“Brooke was amazing with our boys and sent the cutest pictures throughout her weekend stay. This was our first time booking Brooke and we will absolutely be booking with her again! She left the house spotless, and the boys were so well taken care of. Would give her more than 5 stars if we could!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was in middle school! Friends and families have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their dogs and sometimes look after dogs and kids at the same time! I don't mind walking dogs and playing with them as it also helps me relieve stress during my everyday life :) I am a post-grad working full time, but I do make time to fit pet care into my weekly routine. I look at taking care of dogs, playing with them, or taking care of their needs as a way to relieve stress for myself and to help ease off the stress that a client may have so that their animal gets taken care of and are happy! I do live in a single home with lots of backyard space with lots of areas and parks to walk dogs around! I am able to also accommodate to any environment of a client's home if they have an in-fenced yard, toys, etc.
About: I have walked dogs since I was a kid and absolutely love all animals! I have two children, 3 and 7, who desperately want a dog in the future. I am hoping to do this part time for them to have a sense of what having ann animal feels like and get them acclimated with the responsibility of having a dog. I work as a therapist but have a very flexible schedule. I work in office once per week and work from home the rest of the days. My office is also pet friendly depending on your dog. I love long hikes and being outside and would love a furry companion to take care of. I have a lot of space and I love long walks. I will take care of your animals in the way you want, whether it’s playing fetch or cuddles.

About: I’ve taken care of neighbors dogs and coworkers as well. Experience with walking them, administering medications, speciality feedings, house sitting and more. I’ve worked will all age ranges from puppies to seniors (including cats). I also love reptiles! Snakes, geckos, frogs, you name it. I’d love to be able to take care of your fur babies while you have a stress free vacation or trip. I currently work full time as a hairstylist, Wednesday through Saturday from 9-6, however with enough notice my boss is super flexible and I’d be willing to take some reasonable time off. I’m off Sunday-Tuesday so perfect for drop in visits, walkings, and house sitting. I always write down rules that you may provide or have. I love doing a “meet and greet prior to the booking so your pet is familiar with me before we spend time together.
“Taylor was great. She was punctual, considerate, good with our pup, thoughtful (she sent pics of Bear while I was in the hospital),and very neat. She has our unconditional support recommendation.”

About: Hey all! Wonderful to meet you. My name is Nicole and I am 30 years old. I was born and raised in North Wales, PA and have been providing pet care to my community since I have been able to walk around the block by myself! I have always had family dogs of my own. A Shetland Sheepdog named Shelby, and we still have our Nala bear with us who is a rescue mix, and we have had her since I was a junior in high school. I've branched out over the years. I used to volunteer at special equestrians, taking care of the horses and their stalls. My first job out of high school was at a pet store. I provided care to all the animals even down to the mice. I administered medications orally, cleaned their living spaces, and fed them. I own a fish tank, and I used to own a bearded dragon. I have provided cat care as well. I have a lot of experience in and outside of Rover. When I lived in Philly about 7 years ago I signed up for Rover and had watched quite a few dogs through the app as well as watching dogs just through recommendations. I moved out and ended up deactivating my account. I decided to come back on here, and I am looking forward to meeting you! I currently work 5 hours 5 days a week from 12:30-5:30. We can discuss more details on care if you are interested I would love to have a meet and greet before service starts so we can go over exactly how you’d like me to care for your pet.
“Olivia was fantastic! She was flexible with our schedule, always timely, and took amazing care of our puppies. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing we had someone we could truly trust while we were away. We’d absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring dog sitter.”
“Nico is the absolute best dog sitter on the planet. So grateful for him and all he did to take care of my pups. Definitely plan to use his dog sitting services many times. Absolutely trustworthy.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Ager Tract
We could not be happier with the care our dog, Jada, received from Amy. She communicated and sent pictures and videos of our happy pup. We appreciate that she was especially attentive during a thunderstorm when she kept her calm. We wouldn’t hesitate to use her again.
Kim is great! She stayed at our house and watched our dog, Finn, for four days while we were out of town. Kim sent us photos and updates the whole time, which made us feel really at ease. She was very responsive and took wonderful care of Finn and the house. We would highly recommend Kim’s services and will definitely book her again in the future!

We went away for a week and had Nicole take care of our dog Teddy. He is very shy and not used to strangers. He warmed up to her immediately and they had a great week. She sent us pictures of him and kept us aware of what he was doing each day. The house was perfectly kept and I really felt confident being away and not worrying about the dog or our home. I would absolutely use Nicole again. She was responsible and reliable.

FAQs for House Sitting - Ager Tract
Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Ager Tract on Rover is $52.73 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 5,895 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Ager Tract. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Ager Tract walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Ager Tract maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Ager Tract choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Ager Tract. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
