“Stacy was amazing. It was important to me to have a care giver familiar with a Pit bull Boxer mix. She was always on time, flexible if we needed to modify the schedule and communicated regarding any changes. The Rover system worked efficiently. I will definitely be using Rover and Stacy in the future.”

About: I grew up with cats and have had dogs as long as I can remember. I've raised 5 dogs of my own from puppy-hood, and currently have 2 rescues. I'd love to walk, hike and love on your pets! With a very flexible schedule, I am available weekdays and weekends for hikes, walks, and drop-in care for your dogs and play time with cats! Having two dogs of my own, I understand the need for care and attention when coming by for walks or drop-in visits. I'm excellent at belly rubs and walks!

“Kristen has been fabulous with our dog! She’s often available last minute, and puts in the extra effort to play with him even when he’s resistant to a longer walk.”

“Sue has been a fantastic find! She lives nearby, is a great communicator and my dog enjoys her company. Very glad to have found Sue to help with the occasional dog walk for ski days.”

About: I have been taking care of pets for over 20 years, watching them for friends and family as well as taking great care of my own family fur babies. I have a park nearby in a safe neighborhood so your fur baby will get lots of exercise. I am also available to watch them in your home if you prefer. I am currently working part time from home so I am conveniently available days, nights, weekends or whatever is needed to fit your busy schedule. I have a fenced small yard, plenty of areas to walk and play close by, and my house is clean, childproof and safe for pets.

“We had a great meet and greet with Dani! She was flexible in our timing and even took River on a little walk to get to know him. River had his first walk with Dani this past week. He seemed very happy and relaxed when we got home after a long day away! We're excited to book more walks with Dani!”

About: Aside from caring for and being responsible for my now-elderly cat and six-year-old dog, I have pet-sat for my friends and family many times in the past. Juggling my sister's cat, seven dogs, and pet pig (yes, you read that all right) can be quite the handful, but I truly believe that it has been a great experience for me. I can't wait to meet your furry friends- and I hope to hear from you soon! As an eighteen-year-old taking a gap year before moving away for college, saving money and enjoying my time in my hometown are my two biggest priorities. Luckily for me, nothing checks those two boxes like spending time with animals. Aside from my part-time job, my schedule is open for you and your pets! I am committed to giving your pets the absolute best care, whether that is long walks, frequent bathroom breaks, or belly rubs and cuddles! My top priority is to make each and every one of your pets feel safe, special, and loved.

“Maggie was so patient and willing to work with my very shy dog who didn't want to go for a walk. They went on a successful walk, and my dog seems pretty proud of herself!”

“Maddie was so amazing! She communicated wonderfully and followed all my instructions perfectly. Lily was given water/treats throughout her walk and so well taken care of. I will definitely book her again!”

About: I've cared for my own sweet dog for the last 10 years, and before that our family owned dogs throughout my childhood. I also have experience caring for other people's dogs, mostly overnight care. I currently have an extremely flexible schedule, and can make most days/times work. I also live in the Gunbarrel area, so can easily access Boulder/Niwot/Gunbarrel. I prioritize safety through secure leash handling, checking gates/doors are properly closed, and maintaining constant supervision during walks. I build trust by following your pet's specific routine, providing regular updates with photos, and respecting your home and belongings. For environmental care, I always clean up after your dog, stay on designated walking routes, and ensure your pet gets fresh water before and after walks. I'm attentive to weather conditions and will adjust walk duration accordingly. Your peace of mind is my priority and I treat every pup as if they were my own! I can stay within your own neighborhood if you're more comfortable with that, or I can take your dog in my own neighborhood (behind King Soopers off Lookout Rd).

About: Hi! My name is Shannon and I’m a PhD student at the University of Colorado, which gives me a lot of schedule flexibility for walks and pop-in visits. Im available especially a most of mornings and early afternoons. I’m a lifelong dog lover of all shapes and sizes. I currently have a Bernese Mountain Dog named Stanley who is a big, playful teddy bear and would love to be best friends with your baby. I have experience working with reactive breeds and the most chill pups on the planet. I love puppies and senior dogs and everything in between. I also have a lot of experience administering oral meds and pups with sensitive bellies. Being a student allows me to change up my daily schedule as needed for your pup. I’m currently free most early mornings, evenings, and early afternoons. I’ll treat your pets like my own. I love to snuggle and give lots of pets and take long walks whenever possible. I want your pets to feel as comfortable as possible when you aren’t there.

About: Hi there! I've recently reactivated myself on Rover after a bit of a break and am looking forward to meeting your dog! I live in the Gunbarrell area with a fenced back yard (4ft high). I have an 7 year old terrier mix (female) that lives with me. I provide my doggie guests with a family like experience, meaning they come where we go (trips to McGuckins, dog parks, local breweries). Safety is really important to me and I will make sure to have eyes on your dog while they are in the yard and out in public. I can ensure that your dog will receive lots of belly rubs and snuggle time. Your dog will get a 45 minute walk once a day (lunch time and potentially again around 5:30) M-F and on the weekends I will bring your dog to the dog park (if they like that kind of thing) or a hike as well. I've got familiarity with all sorts of dogs - from grumpy and quiet to hyper and playful. ** Please note that I ALWAYS want to meet your dog at my house before I will confirm your booking. ** This helps me ensure that they will get along with my dog and will mind their manners in my home. If your dog does any damage to my furniture or my home it is expected that you (the owner) will reimburse. - If your dog has shown any aggression in the past to people or other dogs (growling, biting), they will not be a good fit here. - Does your dog have separation anxiety? I am home and with the animals a majority of the time. But, there will be occasions that I need to leave the house for an errand or a few hours. Your dog must be ok with either being in a kennel (that you provide) or will stay calm while I am gone. I will be working from home every day in December and January and have no plans to travel over the holidays. That means that I can keep an eye on your dog 24/7 and make sure they get frequent potty breaks and lots of attention during the day. My yard is enclosed with a 4ft high fence and would not work for a jumper or escape artist. If this is a concern for you, I will make sure to observe your dog while they are enjoying the yard.

About: As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to keep dogs active and happy. I am happy to accompany senior, anxious, and young dogs as well. Each pup needs some fresh air and time outside. I am comfortable with multiple dogs on leash at once and on trails or neighborhood sidewalks. I have an open schedule from now until August 1st, but then can be available most weekends at any time, and a couple of weeknights after 5 pm. I do not have a fenced in yard and I have two dogs of my own at home so would prefer to come to you!

Christine H.Star Sitter

“Christine can easily handle my 70lbs pitbull who pulls. Recommend her strongly!”

Sally F.

“Sally is caring and conscientious and will take care of your pet like her own. She helped me out at the last minute and my little 'girl' was very happy to be in her home and with her family. Sally made sure she understood my dog's feeding and personality needs before I left which gave me confidence that she'd be treated as an individual not just another dog. Sally and her daughters even commented later about specific personality quirks so I knew they interacted with CeeCee as part of the family. There is a positive and fun energy in their home which I think adds to a dog's adjustment and comfort level.”

Maddie O.
“I have trusted Maddie with my own dog many times and will continue to do so! She is very much a dog person, and extremely patient and attentive due to her own pup being quite shy. She is reliable and will treat every dog like her own. I would recommend her for your own dog care needs!”
